It is a great deal for Arsenal though. He is like free for that amount.    They had Neto (35) on loan as backup last season. This is a way better move for sure. They didn't have anyone else than Raya otherwise as Ramsdale left.

I'm laughing so hard by seeing this transfer. The rumor about Arsenal being Chelsea's trashcan is real. Another Chelsea reject goes to the Arsenal. I can't wait to see Arsenal fans chant him 007 once he fail to perform.

How would Mikel Arteta replace Thomas Partey with Christian Nørgaard? He should have gone for a more defensive,  versatile, and young player. Or the best option would have been to convince Partey to remain with the Gunners. Partey has been outstanding and contributed greatly to the success of Arsenal. I see it as a good deal for Brentford, who will cash out about £10m for a player that is above thirty years.

These are the kind of things that has kept arsenal where they are as a club with our winning the premier League for a while now they are not showing any signs of any challenge for the league because if they can be going for players like this it then shows that they are not in the title race

Thomas Partey is 32 year old, Christian Nørgaard is 31 year old, what seems to be the problem?
Arsenal was trying to make Partey stay for another 2 years, I think similar deal was giving to Christian Nørgaard, a two year deal even if it has not been disclosed yet.

Also, dont forget out of 5 seasons Partey signed for Arsenal he was only able to play 1 season without going injured, the rest 4 seasons was in and out because of injuries. I have also try to compared their stats, no much difference too.

So many posters criticising the transfer already. I'd say they haven't carefully done their research on the player. Yes Gunners are eager to see here we go for a striker but this is a good backup for the exit of Jorginho. He has more strength than his weaknesses. I was surprised they wrapped this deal real quick. One thing bothers me though, I'm not sure Brentford can escape relegation with how they're selling their best players.

It's a good deal for Arsenal, even though Kepa fame has faded he has a lot of experience and can still be relied on as a backup player. At first glance Arsenal transfer policy does look unique, because they like to recruit Chelsea discarded players, last season they also recruited Raheem Sterling. Considering Kepa quality and experience, he price of 5 million is very cheap. Arsenal fans are clearly not happy with this kind of deal, they expect Arteta to bring in a better goalkeeper.

It was reported few days ago that Paul Pogba has agreed a two years deal with the French side Monaco on a free transfer. We know that Monaco will be playing in next season's Champions League as they finished third from the league and it's understood that Pogba has reached an agreement with them, he was banned two years ago from playing football amidst doping but right now his back. But the news I saw today, when he was interviewed in Sergio Aguero's podcast, Pogba said "I haven't signed anything yet, but there's interest, we will see"
We will just have to wait for further news regarding this Pogba and Monaco deal.

Ansu Fati has extended his contract at Barcelona. But he would have to move to Monaco on loan due to the financial challenges of Barca.

Cesc Fabrègas was a former teammate of Álvaro Morata in the Spanish national team and English club Chelsea. Maybe the coach wants him in Como. But Morata is still under contract with Galatasaray till January and he seems happy in Turkey.

That is how clubs behave when they know that they are dealing with Africans. Partey works very hard in the team even more than some people on 200k weekly salary. But since it is an African, it is bad to pay him that much
This is the same issue Victor Osimhen had with clubs like Chelsea. They keep telling him to cut down his salary while the ones even less superior to him enjoy such amount.

I don't know what Arsenal are doing about the position they are improving.  Nørgaard might actually be a pretty good player. But I'm not sure he's better than Thomas Partey. And in actual age Thomas Partey and Nørgaard are not much different. Namely Nørgaard is 31 years old and Thomas Partey is 32 years old. I'm not sure whether this will really strengthen Arsenal or not. However, what is clear is that I might be of the opinion that Arsenal just want to maintain their quality.

However, Arsenal actually also made good choices for the transfer of other players, such as Arsenal succeeded in bringing in another defensive midfielder from a La Liga club, namely Martín Zubimendi Ibáñez from Real Sociedad. And for this one I believe it will succeed in bringing positive changes or providing better strength for Arsenal. because I know Martin Zubimendi has qualities that can develop even better. He just needs better partners in the team and at Arsenal he will find them.

Let us not sound as if we are racist too because Thomas Partey deal has nothing to do with him been a black man. Like I said before, it is greed for him to request 200k per week after he only played one season out of the five season he signed in Arsenal. Who do you think is losing? The club right?

Well that is not enough reason for the board to agree to all his demands. His agent and him, are acting greedy here. Partey's hardwork for Arsenal is enough for the club to increase his wage to 200k, he does the job well and we see how Arsenal suffer in that position when he's not available they might regret replacing him too soon most especially if this NØrgaard guy doesn't meet up to his standard or more. I don't know what Arteta saw in this new guy well let's watch and see what he has to offer.
