Luis Diaz future with Liverpool I think became a thing of doubt after the club management opened their door for good offers to come in for the Colombian attacker so I'm not surprised that he finally secured a more away from A field. Firstly, it was Barcelona that wanted to sign him but couldn't meet the requirements but now, German champions Bayern Munich have succeeded in signing the talented winger.
Following the departure of Luiz Diaz from Liverpool, I strongly believe that Liverpool will definitely sign Aleksander Isak this summer if Newcastle gives them a green light.
Luis Diaz has made the right move in his career by joining Bayern Munich, and he will become a key player in Kompany first team. Arne Slot won't necessarily make him a key player if he stays. Liverpool will likely use the proceeds from Luis Diaz sale to sign Aleksander Isak from Newcastle, and they are currently reportedly working to offload Darwin Nunez to raise funds. Liverpool appears to be working hard to build squad depth, placing high confidence in Arne Slot performance. I think Liverpool will target the Champions League trophy next season while also trying to defend the Premier League title. So far, Liverpool have spent a significant amount of their budget on new players, and I don't think their investment will be wasted.

Finally, after a long period of rumors, Arsenal officially announced the signing of Gyokeres on a five-year contract until June 30, 2030.
This is really great news for Arsenal fans. It seems like all waiting and talk about Gyokeres is finally finished and it is big relief that he has officially signed. It is especially good to know that even though Manchester United tried to sign him Gyokeres always wanted to play for Arsenal. As you said, this is one of Arsenal's signings this season, and after a long drama, they finally join. And in fact, Gyoekres has repeatedly explained his reasons and assured him that Arsenal is the right club for him right now.
The EPL is indeed extraordinary, with many top signings made this season, especially by top clubs. And Liverpool is no different. Furthermore, their path to re-signing a top player, Alexander Isak, is closer, after selling Luis Diaz. Liverpool have indeed been eyeing this Newcastle center-forward, but his market value is €120 million. Liverpool currently have two CFs: Ekitike, recently signed from Frankfurt, and David Nunex (whose performance hasn't been optimal and he will be available). If they succeed in signing Isak, Arsene Wenger will surely find a way to optimize the two new CFs this season. I've seen Liverpool paying high amounts for players who could have been worth less and now I see this: Liverpool are prepared to go big for Alexander Isak after Luis Diaz sale done. https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1949571865187684533I'm wondering how much money Newcastle will ask Liverpool for Alexander Isak. In this transfer window, I keep hearing extremely high prices for each transfer. This way, smaller clubs won't have a chance to achieve big things, since the big clubs will always be signing players at extremely high prices. I hope Liverpool doesn't agree to pay more than €110 million for Alexander Isak. It's true that Liverpool needs him. Liverpool's attack is weak right now because some players left, but even so, they can't easily give in to Newcastle's pressure. €110 million, in my opinion, would be exaggerated, but at least it wouldn't be extremely exaggerated.

I really don't see why Liverpool should buy a player like Rodrygo: for sure Real Madrid would ask an outrageous amount of money for him, he's never been a starter and he wouldn't be a starter for Liverpool either, he's just a good player but not world class. Liverpool just spent a ton of money for other 2 offensive players, I don't think they need to spend 100 mln euros for someone who is going to be on the bench.
I agree that Liverpool doesn't really need a new winger, they have enough wingers (Gakpo, Salah, Chiesa). Florian Wirtz and Harvey Elliott can play in as a winger as well. Even if they want to sign new wingers, I assume it is for substituted players only. I agree that signing Rodrygo is too expensive if it is for a substituted player who mostly spend most time in the bench only. Besides Liverpool needs to spend €100m al least, I also doubt that Rodrygo is interested to join Liverpool if he can't be a main player. This is correct Joao Felix has to consent to where the club wants him to go before the transfer cen be possible the club can not accept any offer on his behalf without his approval he can reject that offer if he doesn't what to go to the league or play for the club. Moving to Saudi Arabia could be for the money both for the club and the player cause Benfica can not pay what Al Nassr is willing to pay for the player.
Felix made the right decision to join Al Nassr. He can be the main player there, he also play with Ronaldo who is his teammate in the Portuguese national team. Playing in Al Nassr will be a good way to return to his best form again. It probably brings a positive impact for the chance of playing in Portuguese national team, too. If he joins another team, he doesn't get this advantage. So, I am sure he comes to Al Nassr not for money only but for his career.

So Liverpool are really looking for a new striker to replace Mo Salah in the future because it is predicted that Mo Salah will retire next season or the following season it's just that I was a bit surprised that Luis Diaz was released and I can't imagine how strong Liverpool would be if they really brought in Isak, Liverpool will probably be the team that spends the most in this transfer window. Edit: According to official records so far Liverpool have spent €308 million and could possibly exceed €400-450 if they actually sign Isak (based on the latest rumors) lol even after bringing in Hugo Ekitike Liverpool is not satisfied instead targeting another striker with a high price.

Retire ? Mo Salah isn't retiring anytime soon, but he just might leave Liverpool after the expiration of his (2 years) I believe contract, or possibly get sold next season. Luis Diaz asked to leave he wasn't released, and Liverpool as far as I know actually wanted him to stay, but you really can't force a player to stay when their heart is already elsewhere... Liverpool are now reportedly ready go all out again to get Alexander Isak, I'm still curious about Isak's and Ekitike partnership if they were to complete the deal, but I believe If Liverpool had gotten Isak first, they might have pulled out of the Ekitike's deal even with Luis Diaz leaving.

How do you mean retire ? Well you could say that Liverpool are planning for the future with Mohammed Salah he sighed a two years contract, and his age is quite at some not friendly with football to do it at the highest level, but I will really love to be wrong about this, The truth is Salah is already aging so it’s quite an interesting one to see, One of the main reason that Liverpool is trying to Sigh Alexander Isak is because the club cannot continue to depend on Salah’s goal considering his age right now, they want to try and take off the load from him because at some point his level is definitely going to drop, so the club knows you can’t get a left winger who can score as many goals and assist in the world right now, but it’s better to get a striker who can score so many goals, I’m really not surprised that that Luis Diaz is leaving he has always been linked to different clubs right from few summer transfers windows now, because he isn’t paid so well and Bayern Munich have agreed paying him a good amount of wage, so he should have fun there, I think Isak is going to End up in Liverpool, Newcastle knows that it’s not good to keep an unhappy player in the dressing room, As soon as Liverpool makes a bid which will be coming soon Newcastle will have no choice but to negotiate the deal.

It will be fair if it is €150m - €180m range. It's because he's PL proven, consistent performance, and have good instinct as a striker.

Liverpool are seriously overhauling their team this season, and they've been willing to pay a high price for new recruits so far. Alexander Isak is rumored to be Liverpool's next target, as they see him as the figure they need to improve their forward line. Mo Salah has had his contract extended until 2027, and they may need to prepare for the necessary steps so that when his contract expires, they have a solution available. Alexander Isak has been impressive for Newcastle and his performances have continued to improve, so it's understandable that Liverpool are keen to sign him.

The main point is that Rodrygo, until now, still has to prove he is a real quality player. He has a high price tag just because he plays for Real Madrid and they want as much money as possible, if Rodrygo was playing for, let's say, Valencia, with the same stats (minutes per game, goals and assists) probably he would be worth 40 million euros, and I'm being generous. He's been playing for Real Madrid since 2019, that means it's 6 years, and he never managed to be part of the line up, he's always mainly been a bench player. And in 172 appearances he scored 32 goals, that means 1 goal every 5.4 matches, I'm sorry but the stats are quite bad. Gareth Bale for example was totally another level, and they play in the same position.

Comparison with Florian Wirtz transfer fees around 136 million euro and I don't think overprice for Alexander Isak raise 150 million euro bid offer opening by Newcastle United. Alexander Isak know well with Premier League atmosphere and he didn't need longer time adapting well how huge pressure for every premier league matches. Isak showed consistent performance since moving to Newcastle United from Real Sociedad and surely spending 150 million euro its not really expensive amount for Liverpool. First bid offering from Liverpool have been rejected and Newcastle United increasing transfer fees until 150 million euro, right now waiting for Liverpool respondcontinue negotiation for signing Alexander Isak or keep staying for Newcastle United until one season later, Liverpool's fans hope they can see Isak can sign Isak for this season.

Liverpool aggressiveness in the transfer market this time gives a big picture that they are very eager to defend the EPL title and win the UCL trophy. Several big names have been successfully brought in such as Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike, but Arne Slot is still not satisfied with the squad material he has, he continues to try to find a new striker as a rejuvenation in the front line as well as a long-term projection if Mo Salah leaves Liverpool after his contract expires. After spending a huge amount of money to bring in several top players, Liverpool are now still trying to bring in Alexander Isak, if a deal is done with Newcastle, Luis Diaz departure to Bayern Munich will not affect them. It is clear that the hard work that drains energy, mind and money in this transfer market is part of their ambition to win several prestigious trophies this season.

Liverpool bought Wirtz for €136m, and how can Newcastle value Isaak, which was always scoring a lot to be priced less than Wirtz? They can walk away if they tries to sign Isaak with such price. It will be fair if it is €150m - €180m range. It's because he's PL proven, consistent performance, and have good instinct as a striker.
€150m fees for Isaak looks nothing when Liverpooil could afford Wirtz, which was non PL proven a bit less than it. They have raised €75m from selling Diaz, and can start to increase his first bid. I also see a lot of medias reported they're ready for launching their second bid for Isaak. It seems the second bid will close to €150m.

I believe Liverpool has already strengthened their squad this transfer window. If they sign a few more players, the team will be a fantastic team. The signing of Alexander Isak is particularly important for Liverpool. If they can secure this player, they will solve their problem at forward. They won the title last year despite Nunez's poor performance. Mohamed Salah plays a major role in this title. If they acquire a good striker, they will win the title much more easily.

I am not sure this rumour is true or not but it says if want to leave Newcastle most likely Isak only want Liverpool as his new club so that's why although other clubs were interested to him but Newcastle didn't listen the offers from them unless for Liverpool only and currently Liverpool has money from the selling of Diaz to Bayern Munich and Nunez too probably will leave because there is a Saudi Arabian club who want to buy Nunez and if this deal happen automatically Liverpool lost Diaz and Nunez and probably Newcastle and Liverpool will reach an agreement for Isak transfer

The last big money buy for Real Madrid was Bellingham and between the summer transfer of 2020 till date, Real Madrid has spent a total of €303.5 million on purchase of players. That's to say, in the last 5 years, Real Madrid spent this amount of money and had sales of players within this same period at €301.35 million. I'm just marveled at this because before now Real Madrid was known for spending big but now seems it has changed and it's the other teams that are the big spenders now.
Real Madrid now resorts to convincing players they're going to acquire beforehand and waiting another year. They did this with Mbappé and their last signing, TAA. Now, Real Madrid can convince a player with one year left on his contract to sign him for the following year in advance. This way, they don't have to pay a fee to the player's club. They signed a player like Mbappé for free. They only paid the contract fee and the signing fee to bring him to the team. The biggest factor that strengthens Real Madrid's position here is the club's reputation. Every player in the world wants to wear the Real Madrid jersey.

It looks like Howe has already started life without Isak, judging by how he addressed the media yesterday when they brought up the Isak matter with him; he clearly stated that Isak will not return to the squad, and I can hear frustration in his voice. I would as well because the entire choice takes time; if Isak had decided to go before Liverpool signed Ekitike, Newcastle could have grabbed him instead and allowed Isak to join Liverpool without any problem. The best solution would be Liverpool sending Ekitike on a season long loan to Newcastle and get Isak cause I see no way they are going to use both players except Arne Slot would play 4-4-2 to accommodate both players in the lineup..

Their signing strategy have changed and it now seems like they don't want to be the big money spender everyone knows them to be. But looking at their progress so far since trying to reduce their spendings I don't think it have been going so well for them so far, they are lacking that the best quality of players they have always have. I was really surprised seeing Asensio in Real Madrid starting eleven he is not the kind of player that should make an appearance for Real Madrid because they always go for the best players in the world. They actually did a good job with bringing Mbappe and Trent Alexander Arnold but they can't always get players for free and their defense and Midfield needs strengthening. Real Madrid is a big club if not the biggest in the world and they didn't achieve that by signing young players they achieve that by signing well experienced, proven talented players. They should stick to that if they don't want to become like other teams.

Luis Diaz signed a 4-year contract with Bayern, I don't know what's going on in Liverpool, but there are big changes and something tells me that we will see a different team. Luis Diaz didn't play in the last match with Milan, this decision was made by Slot, apparently he already knew that he would go to Bayern. Somehow Liverpool has changed a lot this offseason, and I thought that after they became champions, they wouldn't want to change anything.

It's no surprise how much they're willing to pay for Wirtz and Isak. Player valuation standards vary from team to team. While some base their valuations on the player's playing experience and stats while playing for a team, that's not wrong. However, there's another aspect to consider that makes a team willing to pay such high prices as Isak and Wirtz.
