Some many transfer took place at the deadline hours of the transfer window just as it has always happened before now. So I wasn't surprised when I saw news of players moving to various clubs because I already expected it. Although, not all deals pulled through as some fell along the way. I was thinking that Manchester United will eventually sign Martinez from Aston Villa since they needed a quality goalkeeper but I was surprised that they signed another goalkeeper instead.

Manchester United already have goalkeepers like Onana and Bayindir. I do not consider Lammens to be much better than Onana or Bayindir. This is definitely one of the bad decisions of United. Since they did not sign any experienced defender, they definitely needed an experienced goalkeeper.
Today is my saddest day of the new month.
I just watched Lammens blunder videos from bloggers and I almost cried. The dude makes more costly mistakes than Onana. I didn't understand my mood after watching the video. What really was the problem with the Martinez collapsed deal?
I know bloggers can be funny, but such a compilation is liable to drop the performance of a good goal keeper.

Was Martinez inability to come Manchester united related to Sancho?
I won't say anything much or conclude that the new keeper isn't a good keeper this early, if he did some mistakes in his first two or three games, it could be as a result of pressure or just a normal mistakes that keepers do but base on the fact that everyone's eyes is focused on his performance as he arrived at Manchester United, it will make it seem noticeable than if he were to be an old keeper at the club.
Let's watch him, and more patient with the Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens.

Manchester United have decided to sign Senne Lammens and it is now clear that they are no longer counting on Martinez. I think Martinez would have been a much better goalkeeper for them, but Manchester United have made a lot of strange decisions in recent years, so this decision is not surprising. By the way, I can’t understand why Aston Villa started experimenting with goalkeepers, Martinez is an excellent goalkeeper, I think he is one of the best in the Premier League now.

Man, the age difference is huge. Martinez is 33, Lammens is only 23.
I also think Martinez is a better goalkeeper. Manchester United may have implemented this transfer policy with his future years in mind.
Now that Lammens has arrived, he'll be the backup goalkeeper at Altay, as he used to be. Onana will likely leave the team as well.
This transfer from Manchester carries a bit of a risk. I don't know if someone who played goalkeeper for Antwerp will be a permanent fixture. The quality of Antwerp's league is very different from the Premier League.
I think Manchester should have signed Martinez in goal to achieve success in the next year or two, but Lammens was transferred.
Let's wait and see how Lammens contributes to Manu.

Manchester united signing a new goal keeper is a welcome development because i don't know what onana and  bayinda where up to last season and even in there first few matches this season, making Manchester united concede unnecessary goals that even a blind man can stop from entering the net, the only problem here is if the new goal keeper can prove himself consistent enough to bench both keepers in the team. Some goals conceded this season where pure goal keeping errors so the only way it can be stopped is by signing an alternative That can bring room for competition in the goal post

Yes, I have very high expectations for him, but if he can't adapt to the Premier League, it will be very bad for him. Everyone has very high expectations of him right now. I hope he doesn't perform as mediocrely as Darwin Nunez did in the league. He joined Manchester United with the intention of being a savior and a hero. Manchester United has had a long-standing striker problem. I hope the young striker solves that problem.

Onana wants to leave Manchester United as soon as possible, citing dissatisfaction with Amorim as the reason. On the one hand, Manchester United has long needed to change its goalkeeper, but on the other hand, I don’t see them finding a worthy replacement for him, and another thing that needs to be paid attention to is that players leave their teams because they can’t find a common language with Amorim, this list includes Rashford and Onana, maybe Antony too.
Andre Onana has obviously lost his confidence since playing for Manchester United, I know how good and smart he used to be back in the days at Inter Milan and Ajax and suddenly can’t even make a statement save. At this point I would advise to try a new challenge elsewhere and maybe it could be a turning point after all.
I'm totally surprised with Andrew Onana's poor performance at Manchester United because he was so good when he was playing for Ajax and Inter Milan respectively, but he couldn't replicate the same performance at Manchester United. It already too late for Andrew Onana to join another club because the transfer window has end. After Manchester United signed new goalkeeper, Andrew Onana have to accept his fate as Manchester United second or third goalkeeper this season.
Onana's has his own flaws no doubt, but then i think his performance is not that bad, the young man is still good to a large extent. This same Manchester United has sacked the likes of Jose mourinho, Ole, Ten hag in last couple of years due to known performance, this were some coaches that were doing well in their previous clubs. My point is that, there is something significantly wrong with Manchester United, Onana shouldn't be put on the frontline in making it seem like he has been the black sheep since in the team, even in the absence of Onana, Manchester United will likely still be mediocre team.

This is good news for Manchester United that they’ve signed a new young goalkeeper at the age of 23. This is what Manchester United was supposed to have done for their teams since but kept wasting their time and hoping Onana, who always made a mistake, would lead them to goals in every one of their matches. The lack of consistency is what matters to Onana all the time.

But now that they’ve signed new goalkeepers, and according to the people, that is two potential goalkeepers they want to sign two potential goalkeepers, but they’ve not finished the deal yet for the other one. Although they will really enjoy their new signing, because they said that Lammens is the best goalkeeper overall in the Europa League, we can wait and see who his performances will be coming out of the transfer window.

I also saw the video you are talking about, where Senne Lammens made so many mistakes that he conceded the goal. It does look bad, but not all of the goals were his responsibility, as the defenders also played a part in those goals conceded. I'm not saying that Senne Lammens will be better than Andre Onana or Altay Bayindir, but he deserves a chance to prove it. So he still has the opportunity to continue to grow, and he might become a big player in the future.

Since the summer window is already closed. I'm trying to make a small recap. Chelsea is becoming a club with most of sales in this window. They recorded €342m alone, which is breaking their previous record around €240m - €250m range. Almost €600m generated by just in a short time. They're crazy in player business, and they should get an aware to be the best salesman now. Bournemouth and Leverkusen are following Chelsea at the 2nd and 3rd. No doubt they generated so much money as they get rid almost all of their key players. Meanwhile, Liverpool is at the 4th with €220m generated from their sales. That's big, but they still suffer huge deficit since they spent far bigger than it in this summer window.

My impression for this smmer window is "IMPRESSIVE!"

I really do commend the way they are doing business, this club was issued almost £60 millions in sales in order to register some sets of players but they achieved this when they sold Madueke to Arsenal for £50 million plus and one other player which I can't recall his name right now and that was how they came up the money from players sales. And that's not even all, they are the same time generated more money from players sales during the transfer window, I'm not even going to talk about the money that came from the CWC tournament that they recently won. In a nutshell, Chelsea is spending money and at the same time making enough money simultaneously.
Yeah, Chelsea showed how to do in the football business. It's not something that hard to be copied by other club. I guess this is gonna be the next meta. It's crazy they make more than 300m alone this window. They also smart in cutting the loses and flipping for profit.
Yes they should give them award for the best salesman, and let's not forget also that they have bought more players than any team around the world for the past four years, which is more than fifty players, I think they deserve an award too on that, well that's not my concern, let's talk about Alexander isak to Liverpool wow that is a massive plus up on the Liverpool squad, like Liverpool front line is a killer squad English premier League teams are not ready for that, but the problem there is Liverpool defense, we can't count on them they've conceded a lot of goals and it's not supposed to be so if they are to win the EPL title.

To be honest I think my team as been fortunate to offload some players while we could have avoided this mess in the first place we are fortunate to make quite a lot of profit overall from team sale, although this has cause some players like Conor Gallagher to be sold out and his replacement was sold this season.

let's talk about Alexander isak to Liverpool wow that is a massive plus up on the Liverpool squad, like Liverpool front line is a killer squad English premier League teams are not ready for that, but the problem there is Liverpool defense, we can't count on them they've conceded a lot of goals and it's not supposed to be so if they are to win the EPL title.
While Liverpool defense might not be frightening like their attack option, it doesn't disrupt the fact that their defense is still solid especially when looking at their performance against Arsenal, while it can be overcome this doesn’t mean Liverpool can't get the lead back looking at their squad depth.

Another loan deal for Sancho, a talented player that left Borussia Dortmund and wanted to play for a big club like Manchester United but ended up with what he never expected. After been loaned out to Chelsea for failing to play well for Manchester United, Chelsea on the other hand didn't see the need to make the loan move permanent because he took didn't play up to expectations in the club. Now his been loaned out again to Aston Villa just today.
Well, he was such a player when he was at Borussia Dortmund, but when he moved to Manchester United, he lose all of his goodness and even failed to play in X11 sheet. Honestly this guy really make me feel sad because at the 2018 he was considered one of the greatest younger players, and also many people believes that he will be the next Neymar but ultimately he failed to make something great in his career....

But anyway, now one more time he move to the English club and still there to be compete in the EPL. He played at many club and league but still failed to make his career prominent. Aston Villa is good place because there would be more time for him to play in the regular squad.
Seriously, there's one reality I have come to understand, not all players are suitable for some certain teams. If he has spent like a little more time t Borussia Dortmund and allowed to develop more, I'm sure another great team would have come for him. I still remember back then when I used to hear of Sancho and how good he was with the ball but everything changed the moment he joined Manchester United. It was as If his magic was stolen all of a sudden.

Yes, and that happens to several players who join Manchester United, and it's safe to say that not all players are suited to the team's style and philosophy. Sancho is one of them, and perhaps many others have suffered the same fate, so there are many problems Manchester United may be facing now. The two new players they bought this season have also lost their finishing touch. Although it's too early to judge, I believe it will be difficult for Amorim to restore the club to its former glory.

Exactly, just imagine how those new guys are doing currently, it seems as if Manchester United reduces the morale of the players. It was never like this, at east before we could how how the team will influence the performance of players from bad to good unlike what we are seeing today. At least it's evident that the team has produced lots of star players back then, right now, there's no single player that's of note coming out of Manchester United be it the main team or the reserve. I just keep on wondering, what exactly went wrong?

I think Chelsea have slowly turned into a selling club, well I wouldn’t blame them because they have bought so many players in recent years, and there is so many unhappy players in the squad because of lack
Of playing time, I understand how it is when you don’t have a playing time, you will definitely ask to leave the club, and that was what was happening at Chelsea so many unhappy players and they all asked to leave the club.

I will really say Liverpool won the transfer window, if there was a chance of a silver wear for having the best target windows, then we would’ve given them that immediately, Liverpool seems like a team that have ambition and they wants to retain the Premier League title and also wants to win the Premier League. Signing Alexander Isak have been a grate move for me, because he is a world class player and a goal machine, Liverpool fans deserve what they have seen this season, it’s a huge investment.

I see people keep talking about Liverpool defense, Liverpool isn’t a defensive team like Arsenal who are only interested in defending and scoring from a set pieces, most especially a corner, Liverpool can defend very well if they want to, it’s because of the playing style of Arne Slot it now seems like Liverpool aren’t a very good defensive team, And they will have to improve as the season progresses, it was true Liverpool wanted to sigh Marc Guehi but unfortunately the transfer didn’t go through because of the clubs last minutes decision not to have gotten a replacement, Liverpool might still go in for him by January.

I think Chelsea have slowly turned into a selling club, -snip-
That's a mad sentence, but it did happen this window. I also think they're "forced" to become a selling club because they brought in so many players in the past. I remember reading an article saying that since Todd takeover, Chelsea has spent 1 billion euros in three transfer windows. That's a huge number, but recouping 300 million doesn't sound that much. I don't know if those stats are updated to the latest window or not, but some people suggest they need to figure out the best 11 and stick with it to get cohesion if their goal is the EPL.

I don't think this is related to the player's development. Each league has its own unique challenges and qualities. The English league is the toughest because the ball is rarely touched and the game is fluid.

It's not a suitable league for Sancho. A team in the English League once made a transfer offer to Platini, but Platini declined. I can't remember the name of the club. The English League has a lot of cup competitions, and a player can play more than 40 matches a year. Platini didn't choose this league because he knew his own personality.

Every player knows their own characteristics, talents, and stamina, and chooses a team and league accordingly.
Pogba is a prime example of this. He was very good in the Italian League but mediocre in the Premier League.

Actually PSG didn't want him anymore because for Luis Enrique he wasn't good enough with his feet. For me a goalkeeper should mainly be able to save goals rather than being good with feet, otherwise just play with a midfielder in the goal, but I'm no coach... Chevalier better play the season of his life because last year PSG won the Champions League thanks to Donnarumma's saves.
Wanting a goalkeeper who is good with his feet doesn't mean the keeper shouldn't be able to make saves; it means he has to do both.
The way the team plays, they play from the back and having a keeper at the back who isn't good with the ball on his feet is a disadvantage. The keeper needs to be comfortable on the ball even when he is pressed, because if he meets a team that presses very well, instead of gently passing the ball to his teammates, he will shoot it out, and the ball might get to an opponent who will have a chance to score. Even if it gets to a teammate, there will be no rhythm in the way they play if the ball is constantly launched in the air by the keeper.

The only problem is, he is now heading to a team that requires the keeper to play from the back, so if he was not good for that system at PSG, how will he be good at it in City? Which leads me to conclude that there is more than we know. I don't think the reason he's leaving is because he is not good with the ball on his feet; there is more.
My theory is that they saw a younger keeper who was potentially better, and they needed to take him before another club does, and since he could not be second choice, they had to sell Donnarumma because there is no way a player like him earning about 12 million a year will be a second choice.
Younger goalkeeper? Donnarumma was born in 1999 and when he was 16 years old was playing for AC Milan in Serie A; Chevalier was born in 2001, he is 2 (two) years younger than Donnarumma and made his professional debut in 2021 in Ligue 2; he only played in Ligue 1 in 2022 when he was "already" 21 years old. That means Donnarumma despite being only 2 years older than him, already played 10 years of first team football in a major league while Chevalier only 3. There is no comparison between the two, Donnarumma is clearly way better.

How do you feel about Liverpool's transfers this season? Are they effective? What are your predictions? Remember, they spent nearly €244 million just on Isak and Florian Wirtz. Isak may already be accustomed to the EPL, but Florian Wirtz is coming from Germany. Hopefully, he will be able to give his best contribution. Liverpool has become  the record-breaking transfer team with the arrival of Isak.

You’re absolutely correct, I think they were forced at some point, because they have made some bad decisions with some of the players they have brought in the past seasons and some of the players asking to leave because of lack of playing time, the numbers that you have mentioned is actually true with the players they have brought into the club in the past 3 seasons, they have spent a huge amount of money just bringing those players, the number is more than 1 billion if this transfer window is included.

Now why I said they are forced is because, they have PSR and FFP against them, they have been forced to make some financial decision by selling some of the properties to the co-owner BlueCo like the hotel they sold and selling the female team just to be in position with the PSR, and if they had to continue buying players, they had to sell and make some profits and maintain their Profit sustainability Rules that is why they have sold some players, I also think Chelsea is a badly run club by Todd Boehly who have made some huge mess with his transfer policies.

I admit Martinez is a quality goali. The problem is that Villa's asking price is too high. How the hell they asked £40m for him. Also paying £200k weekly for him is just waste of money. Buying Lammens is one of their good alternative. They have spent a lot, and should not be overspending on their new goalie.

PSG evidently disagrees. I can't tell which is better just yet, but I have watched Donnarumma a lot to know how he is not the untouchable goalkeeper people think he is. He is prone to mistakes and unreliable at times. The good thing about him is that when he decides to step up, he can be very good, but he's not consistent with it.
Chevalier is also a very good keeper. I guess you haven't watched him much, that's why you rate him so less.

Two players can be agemates but peak at different times. One playing 10 years before the other doesn't necessarily mean he is better. There are players who are 27, yet a 20-year-old player may be better than them. According to PSG at this point in their career, Chevalier is better than Donnarumma.
