As a Juventus fan, to be honest I'm not sure what to think about this: Bernardo Silva is a great player but next year he's going to be 32 years old, which is not too bad, but we have players like Yildiz, Conceiçao, Zhegrova, and Openda, do we really need someone like Silva? Also because for sure he's going to ask for a ton of money and will want to play, that means taking a spot away from younger players. Maybe at the end I would pass.

The way I see it, these two legends will not be retiring from football any time soon. Lionel Messi seem to be having a lot of fun in Inter Miami while making crazy money at the club. Ronaldo on the other hand is very competitive and has his eyes set on the challenge. However I don’t think it’s realistic to expect either of them returning to European football.

It seems we're going to see the end of Simeone's era in Atletico Madrid. Atletico's owner is in talks with US consortium Apollo to sell majority of his stake in the club. I guess this is a bad move considering US owner were rarely successful in owning the football club. It seems we're gonna see the down of Atletico.

Considering they're legends in football, it's perfectly normal for them to retire together. They're still doing what they love, earning money, and still performing at their best. You are correct that changing managers during the season would hardly change  much. We had it last year with Ten Hag out, Amorim in, nothing much moved. But Amorim had a full summer, had invested a whopping £240m in system players, and yet MU remains 14th after four games, the worst start of the club in 33 years. It is how they are losing. The team is producing enough  (almost 8 xG in 4 games, top 4 in the league) yet only 4 goals produced. That is basically half of what should have gone in. And when you get a 11v10 vs Chelsea 80+ minutes at Old Trafford and can hardly get it to count, that can be a tactical choke

I do not believe that sacking is the magic bullet either, but sticking with this inflexible 3-4-3 (the manager believes altering the formation is a "sign of weakness") is just bleeding points. He is a good player, there is no doubt about that. And it is true that Barcelona loves him, who wouldn't want him to stay, and it is true that he would love to stay as well. But both sides needs to realize he is getitng paid WAAAAYY too much. He needs to be paid a lot less.

Right now he is getting paid too much, and he is the second highest paid player, but not the second best player. That is the issue with Barcelona right now, they have Lewandowski as the highest paid player, and he is great but he misses so many games, and Frankie is the second highest, and not that high is deserved. If he drops his salary to 12-15 range at least, that would be great, because he gets 20 right now and that is too much. They need him to take a cut.

After today loss again, West Ham have only managed to win just one of their game out of the five games played so far in the league, also they have been kicked out of the EFL  Carabao cup by Wolves, which means they are simply just losing ground everyday and might get involved yet again this season for another relegation battle. For me I think today’s loss to Crystal palace is the last and i expect a new Manager very soon or worst still after the next international break.

It's about a career, like Lionel Messi has just completed his career, he win everything, and nothing remained to win, even though he grabbed the GOAT title.
