Labelling maignan outrightly that he is a low quality goalie is too blunt for a number one goalie of a national team like France. He may not match your grade in quality of goalies you love but it does not make him a low quality goalie. Was he of low quality France will not retain him in that position.

I have watched some games in the premier league and Int'l matches where Emiliano Martínez made silly mistakes that if you are watching him for the first time you will be tempted to label him a bad goalie with big hype. This may have been the time you watched maignan in that Spain x France.

Then for Manchester United they can go on making changes in the goalies, without having it right with their defence to cushion the pressure that the goalie faces on account of a weak defence there is no class quality of goalie that can make a positive change for them.

I have watched Maignan game couple of times and I have seen why he is still France first choice. Most people don't know what he is capable of because he plays in the Serie And they think he is just lucky to be used by France.

Maignan is not a bad choice maybe you are not too familiar with his game. What kind of upgrade is Manchester United looking for? They fail to go for the best goalkeeper last season Donnarumma so what else are they looking for? If they are looking for experience I think Miagnan is ideal but if they want a younger goalkeeper without much experience then they can look elsewhere but I think going for Experience will be the best thing for them.

There is no perfect goalkeeper, no matter how good they can be they will make mistakes and concede silly goals even Martinez do concede silly goals and make mistakes too. Maignan is almost as old as Martinez so he will also bring experience and leadership to the dressing room.

If they thought he was important they would've sign him instead of the one they signed this summer, what would be Sennen fate at the club? He's not even had a proper playing time to conclude whether they'll need  another keeper yet and they're already thinking of signing Maignan I thought Senne was supposed to be the first choice and replacement for Onana.

I don't see Mignan as a great goalkeeper who can perform well in the Premier League, considering that the goalkeeper is really important there, because the goal averages are much higher, I would say that Magnan is not exactly ideal for the English championship.

They just recently signed Lammens, but Baignan continues to play, while the new goalkeeper sits on the bench. It seems strange to me. When City signed Donnarumma, he started playing immediately, without any preparation, and it immediately yielded tangible results. Does Maignan want to join Manchester United? I think if he's a free agent, he'll have many more lucrative offers from more successful clubs than from Manchester United, who aren't exactly doing so well right now.

Even though Jose Mourinho has good experience in the Champions League but if he is not supported by players who have above average abilities then the results will not be as expected because to be able to beat Chelsea at least Benfica has players of the same quality as Chelsea, but yes I also can not underestimate Benfica because a club like this can sometimes give a surprise when they are underestimated but I am sure Chelsea will play seriously in this match because they just lost their valuable points before so this time they do not want to lose again.

The fact remains that Manchester United needs a goalkeeper. Altay and the loanee Onana aren't Manchester United's level. They could have even brought him in when Manchester City let Ederson go. He was at least experienced and a quality Premier League goalkeeper. But they didn't, and they're still struggling in the goalkeeping area.

Are you using the case of André Onana as your example? The league a goalkeeper is coming from might have little effect, but they can always adjust. With hard work and a good team, players can succeed in any League.

On paper, Chelsea are stronger, especially at home, but Benfica are also a good team and Mourinho is an experienced coach. If Chelsea win, it will be a hard-fought victory, perhaps 1-0 or 2-1. Chelsea have zero points in the Champions League after the loss to Bayern and need to get results, but their Premier League position is also dire – they are tied for 6th-8th place and could drop to 12th if they lose in the next round. Now they need to work hard in several directions and I wouldn’t be surprised if they unexpectedly lose points somewhere.

If they are going to part their ways with Altay Bayındır then there is no problem with that. Otherwise it doesn't make sense...

They already have him and Lammens. There are 3 GKs in total now. Signing Maignan too wouldn't make it look good I think. But I must admit Maignan is a GK I really like. 13 clean sheets last season.

So Manchester should utilize the option of going for him since he is even free at the time, the new goalkeeper Lemmens  is so young and having someone with this experience around will again help him. Should Manchester United sign I see the potential sale of Bayindar and Onana

I still don't see a goalkeeper as the number 1 priority of Manchester United, if Manchester United wants to go for the France number 1 goalkeeper no problem, but that's far from what they need at the moment, there attacking line is weak, there defence set up cannot hold on to pressure, the United midfield is in shambles, yet they were all crying about Onana, today the young man is not with them, and yet they've still continued in their inconsistency.
