It's not surprising me. Messi is 41 years old. Impossible for him to go to the competitive league. So he's staying to keep receiving big bag from his current club to keep his financial sability for his family.

Beside that he can still have opportunity to play last WC in his career as a football player.

To be honest, the news that Messi will continue playing football for three more seasons is fantastic. MLS isn't pushing him too hard and he's still achieving excellent goal and assist numbers. He takes good care of his body, so he's healthy and can play for three more seasons. But I don't think he'll play longer than that because the human body has physical limits. After 40, many things become difficult. It's amazing that he's still performing at this level at this age. Many players have already retired by that age.
I no longer see Messi returning to Barcelona or moving to a place outside the MLS. He will likely retire from football at Inter Miami.

Yes, what you said is true. Nico Paz was a Real Madrid academy product and then sold to Como. However Real Madrid can re-sign him for the amount you mentioned. I even read that Real Madrid has a buyback clause of €10 million in 2026, €11 million in 2027, plus 50% of the player's rights and economic rights. Como themselves have now stated that they haven't offered Nico Paz to other clubs because he's the player who has made Como impressive so far.

I am actually surprised that Lionel Messi has expended his deal in inter Miami. Sometimes ago not quite long, I heard rumors of Messi trying to retire or play his last game, all of us are sudden the room of faded off. I also had another woman of mercy trying to live inter Miami to a better and the more competitive club to enable him prepare for the 2026 World Cup. I was actually attentive trying to know the next club Messi will likely go to, which I thought Barcelona would be an option. Surprisingly I am seeing that Messi is extending his contract in inter Miami to the next 3 years.

This indeed proves that football is all about the money. Messi is comfortable in inter Miami and the at his age he is not playing with too much pressure so I expect him to extend is playing time there. If Messi actually retired now, what else do we expecting to do?

He was responsible for the rise of Wolverhampton and also the rise of  Nottingham Forest. If he is given the required players, I'm certain he's capable and worthy to raise them outta the danger zones. Leeds United a tough side, what they will not do tonight should/would be to lose to Leeds United.

Even though Messi retired before the agreed contract, it would still feel special. I mean, at his current age, even though they are no longer soccer players, their presence still motivates the players. Messi and Ronaldo are icons for every soccer player who idolizes them. So, Messi contract until 2028 is just a form of promotion for MLS to break the appeal of the League.

I agree with this because, judging by what's happening now even though MLS sometimes treats Messi a little differently which I don't particularly like it's undeniable that he's an icon and legend who will undoubtedly have a significant impact on popularity including MLS itself.

This is a good move for him because lack of playing time will heavily affect him this season most especially with the promotion of Garcia to the first team also diminishes the chances of him getting playing time and he he has been warned by Ancelloti that only regular players will make the cut for international football and the World Cup is coming already, i think loan will be great be Value for him just that Real Madrid actually have less players going through loan and breaking into Real Madrid first team
