Mateta would be a good choice for the rest of the season though. Juventus can't get enough efficiency from their CFs this season. Vlahovic is injured and David isn't able to meet the expectations most of the time...

But would Crystal Palace like to let go of him in the middle of the season? Honestly I don't think so now. Because they don't have anyone else to fill his place well in this position in their squad.

Just after Madrid lost to the 2nd tier team, and now Perez is dreaming to sign Haaland as a striker to his club. I believe this another non sense thing since Haaland has a contract until 2034, which is still very long way to g. If they're serious about that, they shall have sent at very least 250m +++ to the City, which i believe it's too good to be true.
Also no guarantee for him to leave from City while Pep is still there. What to do you think? Does sign Haaland solve Real Madrid's problem? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Real Madrid has enough players who can compete and win any competition. Bringing in Haaland when players like Mbappe and Vinícius Júnior are still in Real is to cause more confusion. The club is already going through some internal crisis due to the egos of these top players. Bringing in another world class striker without resolving the issues within the club will escalate this dissagrements. What the club need snow is nothing but a good coach. A coach that can harness the resources of the club should be appropriate.

Bringing in Haaland would be completely fine, but only if either Mbappe or Vinícius moves to another club. Otherwise, it would turn into pure individual competition and, as we said, it wouldn’t solve any problems within the club , it would only make things worse. Arbeloa is a good coach he just arrived at an unfortunate moment
individual competition has always been what Madrid is all about, but then bringing in somebody like Haaland isn't looking like the solution for me in the Madrid team, Rodrygo still hasn't gotten a place, in fact, for Madrid to need another word class striker, two other big guys need to go, which am not seeing that happening anytime soon. As for Arbeloa being a good coach, that I don't know, he was one the Madrid's terrible players in my books those days.

I don't think so. Crystal Palace don't want to lose another key player mid-season, especially since they've already lost several, including Eze. They don't have a striker as good as Mateta in their squad, so it's unlikely they'd let him go.

Rasmus Hojlund was a worse player than Mateta in the Premier League,  yes he had previously played in the Italian league but compare them both, look at Rasmus Hojlund smashing it over there and you expect a player like Mateta not to do well over that league, it is a bit surprising. I have no doubts about him keeping up with the tactical aspect. Goodluck to him if that is what he wants. JUVENTUS is a good place for him.

It depends on the player because most players from the Premier League going to other leagues be it Serie A, Bundesliga or La Liga can often adapt quickly. There are many players who now have useful qualities in Serie A after leaving the Premier League, so Mateta shouldn't find it that difficult to show that he can still be useful for Juventus.

What would be the purpose of this? the tweet is cut off in the image, but I do wonder how that would work.
If they do plan on getting rid of some of the players then I would understand, but otherwise it makes no sense.

Right now, they have Vinicious and Mbappe, if they add Haaland there, who plays where? Vini is left, Mbappe is both left and striker depending on what you need, and Haaland is striker. So if they get him, one of the other two has to leave to make room, doubt that would be easy to do.

Mateta is a very good striker, his quality has been recognized in Crystal Palace because he is among the strikers every defender is afraid of because of his height and strength, and he is good in converting his chances even though he is a striker that misses chances most so he can help Juventus since most of their attackers are injured.

I think Crystal Palace might consider letting him leave since even the coach might leave at the end of this season, and since Palace is not in any competition now except the EPL, they can generate money with him and find a replacement that will cost less.

Done deal
Guehi to city, via Fabrizio Romano

When it comes to fasting deal they should leave it for Manchester City, one thing i like about Manchester City is how they signed players, they do it fast and complete the deal so that any team will not come to enter the race with them, every team is monitoring Guehi for his contract to end so that they will go and sign him for free and Manchester City went and sign him for 20m to surprised everyone, Guehi is one of the players that Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich want, he was about to join Liverpool last season and the deal collapsed, after that he wanted to finish this season and become a free agent and Manchester City come and spoil every team plan.
The best thing to do is to strike when others are scared that's what Manchester city did in this Guehi signing, it was what gave them the edge over others. You want this player what is stopping you from going to get him when others are waiting to get him for free. Why not make that financial commitment to show the player that you really want him to come play for you. If Guehi had more years in his contract am sure those clubs that were waiting to get him for free would have paid more that £80m to get him. He's a good addition to Manchester city a perfect replacement for John stones who is expected to leave the club next summer.

Sometimes situations take a turn that was never part of the plan, yet that’s what ends up becoming reality. The lesson here is that when you judge a player purely based on assumptions—saying he won’t be able to perform at a higher level—you can be wrong. Yes, he is very talented and physically strong. If he can maintain his fitness, then moving from a technical league to an even bigger league could definitely be possible for him.

They did beat Levante 2-0, though. If this team gets serious and starts acting like a real unit, they can achieve a lot. Until then, they’ll stay behind Barcelona, who look much more disciplined under Flick. It’s hard to talk about Haaland right now, but like i said, even if he did come, i don’t think it would really change the situation at the club

Based on recent occurrences as regards injuries, it has become very necessary for the coach to get one or two defenders to fill in the vacuum left behind by the injured players. If this isn't done then Manchester City may have a lot of complications in fighting for the title. Guehi would be a very good choice for City due to his depth of understanding and experience in EPL football.

His experience in the world football and especially in England cannot be left out of the discussion, at this point City is just putting the Premier League middle class teams to shame, imagine signing Semenyo and Guehi from the Premier League just some weeks apart.

Apart from Guehi being an excellent defender, the issue I have is his aerial balls, he is very vulnerable with opponents strikers Almost all the time hovering over him and those precise progressive balls some defenders always make, Guehi has a low passing accuracy but I hope Pep changes that
As far as I know in football, there is nothing as such as a perfect player, every player is unique in his own way and there is always room for improvement hence the reason why every team has a coach and it is left for the coach to point out these errors and begin to show the player how to improve on those areas of deficiencies.
And I trust the Manchester City coach to do that as we have seen what he has done with several other players concerning this same issue.

Manchester City were very intentional and fast about this deal snd luckily for them no club interfere to obstruct the deal. Lately I’ve been seeing rumors that Madrid wants to sign Erling Haaland ..they could have sign Guehi for this very cheap price but they’re instead waiting for him to sign as a free agent and now Manchester have him, and talking about Haaland, I don’t really think there will be a move for the striker to Real Madrid this summer except if Madrid are ready to pay that huge amount for signing him.

I like how Manchester City played smart here, every team wanted to sign him as a free agent in the summer but they quickly used this transfer window to buy him for just 20m.
I agree, Haaland deal will not happen, Real Madrid will not be able to get him. Not only because he would cost a lot, and I doubt that City would allow him to leave for cheap, it's also about how Real Madrid can't just put up 200+ million for a single player.

To assume that Real Madrid could, it still depends on City to wanting probably, because they have a striker who can score so easily, even if we assumed 1 billion price, this isn't about price, this is about who you can replace him with and there aren't any single player in the world where you can just pay and get and replace Haaland, that dude scores a lot and you can't find a 20+ goal a season type of player at that age anywhere right now, so it would not make sense to sell him.

Crystal Palace might let him go if they want money because the club isn't in their best form this season and they have been losing their recent matches. Mateta is a good striker, if he goes to Juventus he will be of a good value to the club because he knows how to make a clinical finish with the ball.

On the other hand, Palace might not want to let him go at this point in time that the club needs him more.

I think this is Real Madrid's biggest problem. Because they have a lot of players, and every player is very high-quality. They are all star players, and managing them is very difficult with a simple coach. They need a disciplined and experienced coach to manage them. Of course, I think they should also be older, because age is an important criterion. I'm sure Real Madrid's management has realized this by now, and I think they will announce their new coach soon.
For me, what's needed is for Real Madrid's players to feel what that shirt means. They need to be committed, players who feel the weight of the badge. But what they really need is a lot of discipline. The coach said the players are in second-rate physical condition, which explains why they can't do much; their performance is very poor.

Real's players see themselves as bigger than the club, and that's a huge problem. If I were in the management, I would send a message and sell Vinicius and Mbappe because no player should feel himself bigger than one of the biggest clubs in the world. Other legends have played there before and they weren't nearly as arrogant as today's stars. They're all so outrageously self-obsessed.

Mbappe should perhaps stay, but I agree with what you said about Vinicius. Maybe it's time for him to leave because he's starting to do a lot of damage to Real Madrid, both on and off the pitch. No player is bigger than the team. Real Madrid, who sent Cristiano Ronaldo away, can send any player away.

What's wrong with Chelsea? They go to the unfamiliar CB(Jeremy Jacquet) instead of focusing on competing for Guehi. The surprise is that they're valuing Jeremy Jacquet 43m. It's doubled from what City paid to Crystal Palace. I know he's a prospect, but 43m?Are they joking?

It seems they never learned from Gitten and JP. They keep valuing young talents very high. It's a way too expensive compared to the potential they will get from him upfront.
If we can spend something like this for such player why didn't we just sign Guehi, sigh!
Management has been be feel tired of my beloved club. Chelsea should go for a better top and experience defenders, I watch our games and always feel disappointed of our Cb's.

Man we can't be this bad in that area and be expecting us to compete for top trophies.

First of all Guehi was 27m simply because he was on course to leave for free after this transfer window so Crystal palace have to cash in on him. In as much as I will say an experienced Guehi will be a very big upgrade for Chelsea i think Chelsea didn’t stop pursuing but actually lost the battle and simply just went for the other player. Guehi actually had offer from Manchester city which were looking not something he can turn down; a 300k per week, 15 million a year and then more major title contender bragging right with Pep than Chelsea with Liam, I think the odds were just against Chelsea and this made them chased other options. My only problem is that Chelsea are yet again going for another youngster while I think they need more experience this time around than this youngsters

For record sake Real Madrid didn’t send Ronaldo away but he forced the move himself after sensing some disrespect, but I agree that Vinicius should do the same if he feels disrespected too not damaging his reputation like this, but as for Mbappe I think Vinicius should learn to understand that he is the club’s poster boy now

I honestly don't know why the fuss about the Real Madrids players, it has always been like that, and the club built there franchise upon that philosophy, like the Barcelona team is like a community and lovey type team, Real Madrid has always been about ego and individualism and it has always work for them, like the time of Roberto Carlos, Beckham, Luis Figo, and even Ronaldo (R9) they were all elites and they made it work to some extent. It just that new coaches coming to the club should be always accept that and find a way to use them to achieve glory too.
