It's not an unpopular theory, but it has become speculation that is likely to become reality. I sympathize with Ruben Amorim for everything he has fought for with Manchester United. Amorim is just being honest about what happened there. I still remember what Amorim said in Fabrizio Romano's tweet that Ruben Amorim would not change his philosophy. If INEOS wants to change, then INEOS should just replace Amorim because Amorim suffers more than Man United fans. I don't remember the date of Fabrizio Romano's tweet about this, so I can't link it here.

Amorim’s honest statement continued with his final statement that he wants everyone to work within their respective fields and that he doesn’t want his role to be merely that of a coach. Perhaps that name was offended, leading to the decision to sack Amorim.

Actually, it wasn't just that factor that led to his dismissal, but also because Amorim harshly criticized the management because Amorim felt the club's top brass were unwilling to fulfill his requests. However, the top brass was unwilling to fulfill Amorim's request and did not even plan to bring in players in the January transfer window.

I also believe Amorim's dismissal wasn't simply due to a string of dropped points but rather because he criticized management and even disobeyed the club's management. Amorim once stated he didn't want to change his playing philosophy. If management didn't like his philosophy and wanted to change it they would change the coach. This proves Amorim's strong stance on his philosophy.

Now it's happened Manchester United fired Amorim from Manchester United. I also see Amorim as the latest victim of Manchester United's selfish management which only prioritizes business. Sadly this vicious cycle has been forming since SAF's retirement followed by Moyes's replacement several other coaches and most recently Amorim. Manchester United won't see much progress under a new coach if this kind of management continues. No matter how great a coach's track record is for Man United if the management does not support him it will be difficult for the coach to make Man United better and stronger.

Manchester United needs better club management. They should also be more open to criticism. If a player or manager voices a request in front of the media, I'm sure they've already informed the management beforehand and couldn't find a solution. What about that story that Man Utd trusts him? In my opinion, Amorim is not the problem at all ,  the problem lies exclusively with the players who play for this club. So many poor results and so much disappointment over the past years that no manager could realistically cope with it. Amorim had good intentions, but he didn’t have the capacity to withstand the pressure and to "turn an old woman into a young girl," as the saying goes. It’s hard to talk about it, but I don’t know when Man Utd will recover from everything. I think they lost a lot by letting Amorim go.

I just saw the news and am continuing to investigate the root cause of this sacking. Whether it's a player, a coach, or anyone who initially excelled at their previous club, and then moves to Man United it's tantamount to resigning themselves to destruction. They will always fail to live up to expectations. Look at Sesko, Cunha, and in fact almost every player has shown very unsatisfactory performances.
If Amorim had stayed at Sporting, perhaps he wouldn't have been so devastated. Now, his career is on track to be the same as Erik Ten Hag, destroyed by this cursed club.

I was very surprised by the dismissal of Ruben Amorim, the impact of that decision felt far too rushed. Ruben Amorim wanted backing to add strength in the January transfer window, but the management misunderstood the intent of his interview. I believe Ruben Amorim understood the consequences of every word he said and was willing to put his position at risk in order to secure budgetary support.

Meanwhile, if Manchester United appoint Enzo Maresca as the next successor, I do not think that move will bring immediate change. Manchester United need to recruit a world class manager, someone respected by everyone, so that the club can gradually return to its former glory.

I seem to not understand the whole theory behind Enzo Marasca becoming Manchester United coach immediately he was sacked by Chelsea. If he was that good Chelsea should be in the second or third position in the league now. Why is Chelsea in the same position and point with Manchester United and also struggling why they seem to have better players that were much organized for last season.

My honest advice to Manchester United is to relax and not be in a haste to appoint a new head coach. They can just go with an interim coach even for the end of the season we will not have any problems with that. Manchester United should calm down at select a good long time coach for themselves

Very nice. Inter had a deal in place with Al Hilal but João Cancelo did not care and he dreamed of going to Barcelona. He delayed all the other proposals while waiting for Barcelona to make a decision and talk to Al Hilal.

I have seen several games of him in the past when he played so well, but I think his biggest problem was to maintain a high level over a longer period of time. Now from the standpoint of quality, I never understood he so early decided to leave Europe and go to Saudi Arabia. He still had a few great years left in the tank and should given it another try. He will still be at a good level, but leaving for Saudi Arabia and then going back to Barcelona, I don't really know what his chances are in this one.

I think he will be okay in Barcelona he still is a world class player,but i just only wonder what has changed since he was in saudi arabia. The league is not even close to the quality of laliga or champions league so i wonder if he will get used to it like before. Saudi Arabia league was probobly like a vacation for him so i wonder if he can be on the top level as he was couple of years ago when he was in europe

Barcelona on other hand dosent want to waste much money so still going for cheaper option,so for them this option is good because they dont pay much.

Joao Cancelo is undeniably an elite-level talent, which is why Barcelona wanted him in the first place.
The real question is consistency and discipline. In the right role and with the right coach, he can bring a lot of success, otherwise, it could be questionable.
It's not just a move for a full-back, it's a touch that can change the course of the game. When played in the right system, he makes a difference in midfield like an extra playmaker. This could be a major transfer that will affect the fate of the league.

Manchester United and Aston Villa been a rival? That’s to see that the extent of fall of Manchester United because a manager at Aston Villa would be proud to be a Manchester United manager than any other thing due to the global status of the club and this includes even Unai Emery but we all can say that he is most probably not going to be tempted in this one due to the way Manchester United is been run. I am not looking down on Unai Emery but I feel with the pressure surrounding Manchester United the job might be too big for him to take. Also we all know how Emery is actually more than a coach and prefers to be the manager at a club because he wants all the decisions to be made by him and sincerely many managers including even the recently sacked Amorim where not given that luxury and that’s what makes their jobs difficult and it is on this ground that I feel many of the managers are actually going to turn than this offer from Manchester United.

Take your time to surf throughout Fabrizio Romano's page you will see that Ole Gunner the former player and manager of Manchester United has been said to be interested in the Manchester United job. If there is anyone who understand the club then it has to be him and with his arrival, Bruno Fernandes will not want to leave the club. He is not an all round tactical manager but he knows how to make Manchester United play well, defend and the same time score goals.

Even in the dream land, I wouldn't want to believe Marescas coaching Manchester united after just been fired by Chelsea. What are the parameters the united board will be using to judge Marescas expertise especially his recent job with Chelsea, or do they want to count the Club World cup he won as case study to give him a trial, of course that's not enough. I believe Amorim should have be left to finish the league, he assembled this crop of players Manchester united have now, so he should have been allowed to stay till the ending of the season.

Certainly you are right, Man United would never give the manager who was sacked by Chelsea a chance. We can see that the Blues manager's chaotic 14-month reign is over and the club is now looking for new talent but at the moment it appears that the team's academy manager has been brought in on an interim basis meaning that he will now take charge of Manchester United from the next match onwards, so the rumours we are facing are not accurate, even though Chelsea won the World Cup under his leadership, it seems that United may not consider these statistics. However, this may be true and everyone has seen that the former Manchester United manager managed to lead the team to a total of 24 wins.

I guess Manchester United has yet succeeded again in making another good manager look bad because the last time I checked where I Ruben Amorim was coming from to Manchester United, he was doing great over there and hence his attraction to the falling big iroko tree. who's now taking every coach along with it to the ground. We keep fingers crossed right about now to know who their next victim would be for a coach.   imho, United needs to overhaul the team to begin with about thinking success.

To be fair, up until Amorim I honestly thought they did not have any good sense in picking good managers. Sir Alex Ferguson was their last good manager, and after that they ended up a series of terrible managers.

Don't just look at what managers did before, look at what they did after too. Mourinho? Managing Benfica and royally screwed up his last few jobs. Solskjaer? Dude left and became a UEFA worker. Erik Ten Hag? Literally fired after 3 games at Leverkusen. Amorim was the only one I had hopes, and even that failed miserably.

The latest rumors suggest Ole has been reappointed as manager, and as expected a vicious cycle is beginning to spin at the club. Not only the club's top brass, but almost all fans are still stuck in Manchester United's past and unprepared for the current reality.
