Finally, the Crystal Palace captain has found a new team after failing to join Liverpool in the previous transfer window and is now officially a Manchester City player.

One thing I've learned from Marc Guehi's transfer to Manchester City is about team needs. Any team that recruits players based on team needs is more likely to perform solidly than one that brings in players for reasons other than need.
Manchester City is short on center-backs after Dias, Stones, and Gavrdiol got injured. Pep is sharp about this.

Manchester City really did a good deal in getting Marc Guehi, he is a really good player and also a premiership tested player. Manchester City needed reinforcement in their defense, due to many injuries in their defense and they did the right thing to get one of the best defender in the league. I think it's a win win for every party involve in the transfer. Crystal Palace were able to get some money for him, instead of him going on a free in the summer,  Manchester City got the player they needed so bad and Marc Guehi got the move to a big team that really suit his status.

The fall of Crystal Palace has been really sharp in the Premier League. They actually started well but especially the missing players recently have made things even worse for them. There is a big list of players about it. 

I don't think Glasner is a bad manager normally. Maybe they might even sack him by the end of the season. But he has been the best manager they have had in the recent years. If I were them I would keep him longer.

I’m curious to see if Crystal Palace owners would let Glasner’s comments slide. Enzo Maresca, and Ruben Amorim were sacked for similar reasons. I don’t blame Glasner for his outburst, tbh I understand his frustration because Crystal Palace sold some of their best players without buying the right players to replace them.

Does he expect the club to fund him to buy new players when he has made it clear that he is leaving? The club will want to rebuild with another manager that will come after him. If they give him money to buy players now, and another manager comes in and say those players are not the type of players he needs to execute his tactics won't that be a waste of money for the club? Glasner should make due of what's available, finish the season and go. Let the new manager come and buy his players.

I'm sure no club is willing to pay a salary of 30 million per year, as a comparison in the Premier League Erling Haaland with the highest salary is only paid 27-28 million per year or Mohamed Salah with 21 Million per year then there is no reason for Madrid to agree to the deal. Real Madrid could release Vinicius and find a new player as a replacement I'm sure it won't be difficult for Madrid with lower prices and salaries. Maybe the only league that is willing to pay 30 million is Saudi pro league but there are career consequences.

It's certainly burdensome for clubs to pay Vinicius such a high salary because in the Premier League what's sensational isn't the salary but the transfer fee due to the astronomical prices. Perhaps PSG or the Saudi Arabian League could afford such a large salary, but I doubt PSG would be willing to spend that much on a player of Vinicius' stature. If he chooses the Saudi Arabian League, the consequences could be at stake for his career, as it's a league different from the Europa League. I'm sure he'll eventually extend his contract at Real Madrid because this is the only team that can make his dreams come true, especially if the player has a big ego.

I agree with you, what does he needs new players for when he wouldn't be the one managing the club next season. Crystal Palace management will support the new manager with the players of his choice so that he can move the team forward and improve their performance. I am not surprised to see AI-Nassr to be among the teams that is in high pursuit of signing Vinicius. They did last two seasons to be interested in signing Vinicius when there was rumors of Real Madrid selling off Vinicius. It was Real Madrid that didn't proceed with the sell. I just wish it becomes true this time for AI-Nassr to succeed signing Vinicius. At least he will have a good weekly salary better than if Chelsea signed him

It is good that Real Madrid has finally realized that they need to sell Vini Junior. It is unfortunate that people didn't see it coming, but I saw it early enough when Real Madrid signed Mbappe. I knew that they will either sell Vini Junior or they'll sell Rodrigo in order to balance the team.

Manchester City desperately needs a quality defender to maintain squad depth. Pep Guardiola is a brilliant coach, which is why he wanted Marc Guehi. What are you even saying so because his not scoring goals like Mbappe is doing you think his not performing very well and those not deserve his salary to be increased, vini is like the the spark in Real Madrid if his not there the force won’t be good in that Real Madrid front. This is a fine player that would have improved more than this if he is playing regularly on loan be for now, but he has been seating on the bench at arsenal, which is not the best way for young players to develop. So this move to Olympique Marseille will only make sense if he is made a regular there, not switching from arsenal bench to Olympique Marseille bench.
Furthermore, though his move to Olympique Marseille is not that bad, but a premier league move would have made even more sense to arsenal than him going abroad, since it will help him to have more experience of the league and it physicality, but it's a good signing on the part of Olympique Marseille because he is a top quality young player.

That's all because now Madrid fans are turning their attention to Mbappe so Vinicius feels jealous that his popularity has decreased in the eyes of fans including Mbappe's high salary. Mateta is getting closer to join in Juventus. talk in place between Juve and Palace. So i think he's going there soon. It's a solid move for Juve considering how good he is physicality combined with good pace. So i think he will be useful instead of keeping Vlahovic.

Dusan Vlahovic future is uncertain in Juventus and he will most likely leave as a free agent there so getting any other good player to replace him is something useful for the team. Juventus results aren't perfect and the attack line isn't well. A fresh air there is more than needed. However Mateta is not a young player after all, he is almost 29 years old, he achieved some titles with Crystal Palace so he has to adapt to a team like Juventus and I am afraid that it will takes some time to adapt. After all Juventus doesn't have a lot of choice.

That's exactly it, and the club has already conveyed to him its position that this is impossible. It's clear that from Vinnie's perspective, Real Madrid's problems (their inability to pay exceptional salaries to everyone) don't seem like Vinny's problems, but he needs to consider his options: Real Madrid offers both a good salary and titles. Who will give him both an exceptional salary and titles? I'm not sure Bayern, City, or PSG would take him on a stratospheric salary, even for free, as he's a very risky and fragile asset. That only leaves Saudi Arabia. Does he want to go there at 25?
