This does sound quite ridiculous ... When Palmer confided that he was feeling homesick, suddenly someone speculated  that Palmer wanted to return to Manchester.  This was also linked to the fact that Palmer spent his boyhood rooting for Manchester United, leading to rumors that  he would like to join the club. As long as Man United still has Bruno Fernandes, it would be unlikely that Man United would sign Palmer,  because there are also Cunha, Mbeumo, and Mount in the same position. So it would be unwise for Man United to sign another attacking midfielder because what they need more is a defensive midfielder.

Well now we’ve received an official statement from Chelsea’s head coach, and Rosenior says that he hasn’t discussed the possibility of leaving the club with Palmer at all. In his opinion, Palmer is happy at Chelsea, and Rosenior personally has long-term plans for this player. Man United's board not extending Casemiro's contract can't be because of his injury history. He does not get frequent or lengthy injuries like the likes of Martinez, Maguire, or Luke Shaw. The reason is because of his age and his huge wage.

About his possible replacements. I don't know about Felix Nmecha, but the ones I'm aware of are Elliot Anderson, Adam Wharton, and Carlos Baleba. Of the trio, I prefer Anderson because of his work rate. He's a fine passer of the ball, and United can get him for a decent fee. Wharton is also another good option, but Baleba is just overhyped, or should I say he's overpriced.

IIRC, Fulham signed him on a free transfer from Wolves ^{[after his loan spell in Barcelona]}, so West Ham signed him from Fulham

Second season for Manchester United and he was plumpy asf when the new season kicked off, that was actually when he got that heavy words from Jamie Carragher saying "He should leave the football before the football leaves you" With the arrival of Ruben Amorim, he's done a whole lot to stay fit and the same time, Ruben Amorim managed him to his strength likewise. Nothing much to say, I'm glad young players in the dressing can see the standards his set for him. I watched his uploaded video and I got teary eyes. He will be missed, definitely.

Kim Min Jae is being linked to the Chelsea move. He seems not feel comfortable enough to stay at Bayern. If it's gonna be real, it becomes a solid transfer for Chelsea. The reason is clear, they lacked of experienced defenders in their squad. So having a guy who can be a leader for so many young defenders is a must.

Unfortunately Casemiro had to leave Man Utd on a less than satisfactory note, I mean in terms of achievements, he is yet to lift a major premier title, if he had, it would have completed a great career. But I agree that he is a role model for young players, how mature he looked on the pitch during his time at Man Utd. Btw Man Utd have moved quickly to replace the position left by Casemiro, I hear they are targeting Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace, but they need to be careful, because Liverpool are also interested in this player.

The "yet" part is very crucial and I do believe it to be true. Yes, they wouldn't want to get rid of a player only six months after he joined, plus they got him for free which is why they would consider this to be great deal, and even if they sell him for like 20-30 million then they would make the salary back too, so it would be like he was totally free for them.

However, this isn't a manager, this is a player, they do not have to get rid of him, plus they do not have a clear better right back alternative, Carvajal is old, Vasquez is barely right back, so they need a replacement before they make a deal like that.
