To be Frank I think the they would survive if Arteta actually knows what to do, let’s be honest Mikel Merino isn’t even a starter and he isn’t even used most often in the midfield, he has been more as an emergency striker than a. Midfielder. Right now the striking position has with three options with the likes of Kai Harvetz and Gabriel Jesus back to provide back to Viktor Gyokeres and in the midfield Arteta has options there as both Zubimendi and Rice are two regulars while the other of Eze or Odegaard takes the 10 role. Should there be any need for either of Zubimendi or Rice to sit it out in a match he can go with one defensive midfielder and play both 10s or rather still sticks to his pattern of double Defensive midfielder by bringing in the summer signing Norgaard who before coming to Arsenal plays that role so well

AC Milan has just informed Crystal Palace that they won't be proceeding with the transfer of Jean Philippe Mateta due to failed medical test. It was discovered during the medical that Mateta has a lingering knee problem and that's what they are holding on as the reason for pulling out of the deal. To me AC Milan was never serious in signing this player. I see this as just an excuse from the Milan camp. I feel bad for Jean Philippe Mateta as he was keen on making this Milan move.

I think Mateta is going to feel different about this move and how it ended unless a miracle happens for another club to come for him, I'm not sure but is like Juventus are considering him as an option...that aside. My worry about Mateta is how on earth is this player going to have a good time with the club like he used to? The fans can choose to boo him for trying to force his way out, for me he should have stayed till the end of the season, that would have been better. Is he going to sit on the bench till the end of the season? I'm not sure and this news about Mateta reminds me of Zaha, when he tried to leave but was forced to stay till the end of the season but I'm this case Mateta I think this will affect his form in the sense that he might not be playing with his mind and is clear that he wants to leave as the other players did (Eze and Guehi).

Atletico Madrid move definitely a more desirable move than going to Fernebache. In European football competitions ATM has the spotlight than the Turkish league club.
A €35 million deal with €5 million adds on is worth it for the Nigerian especially considering his age and the deal term, all looks favourable. I came imagine how happy is would be to leave Atalanta given his broken relationship with the Italian side.

I hope this side of La Liga favors him, after all that happened with the Italian club, the player deserves what he got, playing for Atletico is a good upgrade for the player, we will see Lookman in his good side for the club, were the relationship is great between the club and players, players perform much better under that condition.

To be honest Lookman created this who drama with Atalanta because he reached an agreement with Inter way before Inter would actually send an official offer to Atalanta. And that is something that goes against the rules. Just because many players do it it doesn't mean it's ok. Looking at the current Arsenal squad, I don't think there's any need to sign Mikel Merino's replacement now that Kai Havertz is back to fitness. The German can easily play Merino's role so I think Arsenal are good to go.

Kareem Benzema to Al Hilal

Here officially Fabrizio Romano post on X that the former Ballon d'Or winner Kareem Benzema has officially switch off from Al Ittihad and move to Al Hilal. All deal has been done as free agent like Kareem Benzema has already express his opinion that he will Left the team at the end of the season and now he did..... He is such fantastic player and his attacking competency is out standings. Now he spends few years at Saudi Arabia side and honestly his performance level is still quite good....


Kareem Benzema is the only one has very good record at different team and still good he has been remain good. So I hope now he will also bring up some fine moment for the team.

For Merino the way Arteta use him one would not notice that he is not a starter for the club, the rotation is not that bad and adding anybody would make one or two players choose to leave the club because of lack of playing time, with all the players Arsenal they need to work with everybody.
When it comes to that number 10 role I'd prefer Arteta to use Eze more often than Odegaard because the Norway midfielder doesn't really have that hunger for goals as I said before, if it happens that way I believe that he'd sit up so for Merino is this season that we see him come from the bench or find it hard to start and end a game for Arsenal. For the attacking department I like how things turn out for the Gunners, by this time last season when Arsenal need all players is when they had to have injury problems but this season they are all back to make the team stronger, is better to work with what they have than thinking on bringing another player, check it...all positions still have back ups, from the goalkeeper to the attacker.

Without bringing in any new players Arsenal still seem to be able to go through this season well, because there are many candidates who are competent enough for Arteta to utilize. But if the purchase is still made, it still needs adaptation and with the remaining season there is not much time for new players to really adjust to Arteta game system. Morino has 4 goals and 3 assists in 21 games, which is not a very impressive statistic.

Man United are no longer interested in pursuing Palmer because his transfer fee is so high and he is often injured, they currently prefer to get Baleba, who is said to have been given the green light by Brighton to move to another club. that makes sense because even though Palmer has good skills and has shown an interest in joining Man United, it is still not realistic for Man United to spend so much money to bring him in with the conditions he has, it is more realistic to bring in Baleba even though Brighton also charges a high fee to buy him.

I think it'd be better to wait till the end of the season to bring in a player. We've seen many players struggle to adapt when they join mid season. As for Merino he would be missed but there is enough player to cover for him. Merino is mostly used as a striker so with Havertz and Gabriel Jesus back from injury they now have multiple options and so far Havertz and Jesus seems to be doing well at the moment. In the midfield there is also options to use to there is no need to sign a player, maybe that's why Arteta didn't sign a player.

In a short while,  Conor Gallagher and Semenyo Antoine both paid off following the games they have already played for their clubs. One has contributed goals and the other assist and also doing his dirty duties he was chiefly signed up for. I can not say the same for Johnson who moved from Tottenham to Crystal Palace. I do not see the brazil league so I will seize my criticism of Lucas Paqueta.

Arsenal still need to spend to get more players this time no matter the amount they spent last time, they will be having difficulty if they will need more players as the competition gets tougher and the absence of Merino to the squad is something they need to look into so that they will not have much trouble in the team. Arteta is a good coach, having different players will not change him from making the right choices for his first team therefore he should get players so there can be good rotation when the time has tight schedule in games.

From this table, I see two things that struck me.
Flamengo spent a large amount on a player like Lucas Paquetá, which is strange! Usually, they are the only ones selling at high prices.
The other oddity is Atalanta's move, taking one of their best players at a lower price than that offered by Inter six months earlier.
However, the Premier League is unrivalled when it comes to the transfer market; the best players all go there.

Yes, it's true that Arsenal is a strong team with many substitute players with the same quality. Mikel Merino's injury must also be watched out for before an important match starts. Arsenal has entered a busy team in the Premier League after losing to Manchester United. Player rotation must be done to maintain player performance because it is impossible for Arsenal to look for new players in the transfer market this time. They still have adjustments to players on the bench like Eze. After the season ends, I think Arsenal also needs to add new players so as not to reduce the team's strength.

Good signing, Al Hilal drew 3 straight games and they have run to sign a striker, it really shows how serious they are and how they are willing to win the league again. But I'm confused about this move, because Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Littihad and Al Ahli are all owned and managed by the Saudi Arabia Sovereign wealth fund. And these teams are also playing in the AFC Champions league. Is it normal to buy players from each other, like you just wake up in a season and decide to buy a player from one of your clubs and add to another of your club. Well I really don't know how it works that's why I'm asking if it's actually legal in the league. Well it's been done so maybe it's legal in the league.

Cole Palmer had established himself as one of the biggest player not just in the English Premier League but in Europe.  He still have a contract in Chelsea until 2033. Manchester United would have to break the bank to get him to Old Trafford. Chelsea would be willing to keep him for as long as they can until they get better offers. I don't also think Manchester United needs Palmer at this time. Michael Carrick is gradually rebuilding the club and should be allowed to use available player instead of bring in new players that might affect the flow of their current performance.

Buying Palmer or someone of similar caliber doesn't really seem like the most pressing issue, but it will have to be addressed in any case, Bruno won't last forever, and we need to prepare someone to replace him. I don't know how much Chelsea would be willing to let Palmer go for, leaks suggest that Palmer is allegedly doubtful about Chelsea's prospects, but he has a long-term contract and United certainly don't look any better. United would be better off looking at cheaper markets like the Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, etc. A move to a brand like United would be a big selling point for players from there.

 I'm really excited about the transfer of Ademola Lookman to Atletico Madrid cause I feel his services there would be much appreciated. He's a very skilled winger who knows how to feed the ball to strikers and also score when the opportunity presents itself. Honestly, I didn't expect Atalanta to treat the Nigerian the way they did especially as he was the reason behind them winning the Europa league thanks to his brilliant hat trick but nevertheless, it's a good thing that he has left and joined Atletico Madrid. At least a breath of fresh air would even increase his experience.

Liverpool have completed the Signing of Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes and it’s a HERE WE GO, deal agreed for June 2026, with a fee of £55-£5 Million adds-on to Rennes. Jeremy have agreed personal terms with Liverpool agreement done for the summer which is one of the most talented centre backs in the world.

With Ibrahima Konates Contract expiring in 6 months time, I feel Liverpool are planning for the future defensively, after signing Giovani Leoni in the summer, who is sidelined with an ACL injury, And Van Dijk getting Old means Liverpool are planning for life after Virgil Van Dijk.

I would say this deal was a fast one from Liverpool because Chelsea was the team that was interested in this player all through the Winter Transfer window negotiating a deal, before Liverpool came late minutes to pull a plug and took over the negotiations and signed the player, I believe the player rejected Chelsea and chooses to sigh for Liverpool, Chelsea fan would be very disappointed for loosing such a talented player to Liverpool, Chelsea fans have to be fuming now.

John Henry obviously sent Todd Boehly back to the Island.

I cannot believe that after spending nearly half a billion dollars during the summer, they ended up getting yet another player.

I would highly suggest Liverpool to stop spending money, and even the fact that Isak is injured not enough reason to go keep buying up players. They are going to bankrupt themselves if they keep this up, and eventually their future might be like Barcelona, but Liverpool is a smaller team so it will not be easy to get out of the hole they dig themselves in.
