Manchester United reportedly won't lower their price for Rashford. Will Barcelona give up on signing him? The option is 26 million Pound, not a small amount of money. We know Barcelona is still in the financial recovery phase. They had asked for a discount, but United rejected it once again. Rashford's statistics look amazing. He started 20 matches and scored 10 goals and made 10 assists. That's 1 goal contribution per game, excellent stats. He played a total of 34 matches, which gives a ratio of around 0.59 total. I think Barcelona shouldn't let him go just because of the cost. It would be difficult for them to find a better player for that price.
Barcelona don't have can amount to buy a player so I don't think Barcelona will buy Rashford in such amount Manchester United are demanding currently. I if they didn't do there best and get Rashford another club will definitely rush him and get him because even psg are somehow interested in sighing Rashford so if Barcelona fails to raise the funds they will miss a great players and I don't think if they can get a key player like Rashford in the team. So they just need to sacrifice and buy Rashford to make them continue performing very good in the league competition, sine Manchester United are not reducing there price against Rashford let see what Barcelona will do or they will buy him r release the players to go back to Manchester United.

For me, giving up because of the price doesn't make much sense. Marcus Rashford delivers absurd numbers, and when he's a starter, he's involved in a goal practically every game. Manchester United has no reason to give him a discount with that performance. Barcelona is recovering financially, which is fine, but finding someone of that level for 26 million is very difficult. Sometimes the problem isn't the price, it's how to pay without disrupting the rest of the squad, if you understand me...

For now, it’s unclear how this deal will be resolved, but I think that in this case, Rashford’s own desire will be the most important factor.

The asking price isn't too much if you ask me, it actually depends on how much Barcelona desires Rashford, that should be the driving force towards acquiring the English forwarder, the amount shouldn't be consequential in this case because Rashford has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he is worth any amount of money that Manchester United is asking from them and I don't think Barcelona wouldn't meet the asking price despite their financial woes.

If Carrick doesn't want to bring division in the team that he's trying to restore he should force the management of Manchester United to reduce the amount they are asking from Barcelona so they can sign Rashford because allowing him to come will make him nit to play his best football for the team since he's already happy at Barcelona. Barcelona is still facing some financial difficulties instead of refusing to sell him to Barcelona they should send him back to a different club for loan.

Barcelona is still facing some financial difficulties instead of refusing to sell him to Barcelona they should send him back to a different club for loan. After all it will all depend on how Rashford finishes this season. If I am not wrong now, Rashford has 11 scorer points and he is 28 years of age. I think given this combination of statistics and age, €30 million sounds like a standard transfer fee to me. Though I think a few other details will come into effect here as Manchester United has to decide whether they want to try and integrate that player once more or whether they want him crossed off the payroll to have more financial scope for other players. It could play out otherwise, Rashford plays an excellent UCL and La Liga season until the end and Manchester United will either ask for more or take the risk and take him back. Any sum of money that is now said to be set in stone is a normal negotiation process. It is February now and all parties have good reasons to wait. I think Barcelona would snap him for €20 million right now and Manchester would not let him go under €30 million right now because he isn't playing a bad season. It was in December I think when his market value was adjusted to €40 million.

Its more like we are waiting for a confirmation on the potential manager for the next season. The board has probably made few contacts but unless there is a final confirmation on wether Rashford will be in the plan for the next manager then its gonna be a waiting game. Considering that he has been scoring that many goals and he seems to be perfectly fit for Barcelona's plan then I guess minimum number would be atleast €25 million but I doubt Barcelona gonna be willing to pay more than €23 million

James Trafford was a name United wanted to get, and that's the problem that Trafford is having right now. Normally if Trafford knew that City would bench him, then he would have taken the offer from United instead, sure United wasn't seen that great at the start of the season, but at least he would be playing and it's a big club where everyone watches their game.
However, what happened instead was Donnaruma was hired, Trafford was benched instead and on top of that United has done much better than people assumed. This of course pisses Trafford off, and I think he is fully right about it. I sure do hope that he is either loaned or sold to another team on the summer, he deserves to play and someone at his talent level should not be sitting on the bench at anywhere.

You cannot stay in a team that don't have the money to sign you even if you want to, because Rashford has already received so much from Manchester United without giving them what they signed you for. If Carrick wants him back, don't you think that will make United think twice of selling him to Barcelona below €30m.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗: List of defenders out of contract in 2026:
🔸 Ibrahima Konaté (Liverpool) 🔸 Vitaliy Mykolenko (Everton) 🔸 Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth) 🔸 John Stones (Man City) 🔸 Óscar Mingueza (Celta de Vigo) 🔸 Oleksandr Zinchenko (Ajax) 🔸 Rico Henry (Brentford) 🔸 Souffian El Karouani (Utrecht) 🔸 Danilho Doekhi (Union Berlin) 🔸 Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid) 🔸 Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) 🔸 Zeki Çelik (Roma) 🔸 Takehiro Tomiyasu (Ajax) 🔸 Diogo Leite (Union Berlin) 🔸 Harry Maguire (Man Utd) 🔸 Andreas Christensen (Barcelona) 🔸 Malang Sarr (Lens) 🔸 Mika Mármol (UD Las Palmas)
(Source: @Transfermarkt) Here's the list of defenders that may be leaving in summer. The future of all of those defenders still remain unclear. There have been some familiar name like Konate, Stones, Maguire and Rudiger. However, based on some rumors we may be seeing the swap betwen Konate and Rudiger. Konate is rumored to join Madrid, while some EPL clubs (CPalace, Westham, and Spurs) have been lining up for Rudiger. Beside that the future of Meguire is still remain unclear. yet his teammates suggested team to hand him one year contract extension. So i believe he will receive it since his perform is remain consistent. As for stones, he's often warming the bench to injury. So i think it's time to let him leave, though he's been crucial for club's defense. What names do you think deserve to stay at their current club?

Rashford is an amazing player, Mctominay and Garnacho too. It's incredible that manchester United discarge this strong home made player. In my opinion carrick can ghange the sort of manchester united because he have the same scolarship of ferguson.

Marcus Rashford is a very talented player. He has a personality that allows him to give his all for Barça. He's someone who feels mentally comfortable in a team and tries to contribute as much as possible. Therefore, if Barcelona signs him, they will be strengthening their rotation squad. If you're missing a player or need a substitute, you can completely rely on a player like Rashford.
I agree with you that Marcos rashford is a very good player that has a good personality while playing for Barcelona, and he is very good when coming on from the bench, but depending on him full time as the only option is not encouraged because he is most times inconsistent, so just imagine that in a big game that you wanted him to deliver, but he is not impactful, you will definitely wouldn't be happy, that is why in my own opinion, the best way to bring out the best from him is to have another top player in the team that has the capacity to limit his playing time if he is not doing well, that way, he will definitely step up and deliver what he is signed for, but if he is the only option, it would really be regrettable because his performance will be very poor.

I don’t know what Liverpool are doing with Ibrahima Konate, they should try and offer him a new contract for him to get what he wants, He is in the Climax of his career and now is obviously the time he has to perform well, he should be given what he wants because I think he absolutely deserves to get a new contract at Liverpool, and also Andy Robertson should be offered a new contract so he can play as a team player, he is one of the leaders in Liverpool and he should play a better game instead of allowing him to leave for free, most especially Ibrahima Konate should sigh a new contract, they can’t keep allowing big players to continue leaving the club on free transfer, so I think it will be better to offer him new contracts. The rest of the players should seek for a new challenge, they don’t deserve new contracts in their present clubs, because they’re not playing well, I think there are reasons why they’re not offered any new contracts.

This news sounds refreshing especially for Chelsea fans. The club is planning to sign Murillo. They're also planning to offload Badiashile, uncle Tosin, and Chalobach. I think the plan to replace those guys Murillo is smart. You know how terrible their defense when those three players played. However, i think retaining Chalobach is still good enough as he's slowly growing up.
Nevertheless, i believe the come of Murillo will strengthen their defensive line. I see no reason to say no to this transfer as Murillo is still in the form. Acquiring for free is gonna be a no brainer deal.
23 years, Forest's captain, PL proven, and obviously cheap salary (£100k++). They can easily flip him for so much money if they're developing him well.
Chelsea had to do a whole rebuilding phase for the past few years, getting rid of so many players, at one point I remember they had like 40+ players, so now time to get rid of the players they have to get better versions of them as well. Remember, when you have, even bad players, if you can sell 3 of them to get one player, you will make a great contribution to treasury first and then be able to afford much better ones. At that point money isn't their issue, it's convincing the player to come to Chelsea.

Manchester United are asking €30 million for Rashford. Yesterday they stated that they are not willing to negotiate this is the final price. Barcelona would like to buy Rashford, as he has become an important player for their team, but given Barcelona's continued financial difficulties, it is difficult for them to agree on such a transfer fee. Carrick has also said that he would like to bring Rashford back to Manchester United, but the situation is complicated because Rashford himself would prefer to stay at Barcelona. For now, it’s unclear how this deal will be resolved, but I think that in this case, Rashford’s own desire will be the most important factor.
Barcelona want to pay Rashford in installments, as they often do with other players already at the club. Don't be surprised if Barcelona still have a lot of arrears to other clubs. The same applies to Rashford, Barcelona hopes Manchester United will be generous enough to let him go at the lowest price.

I personally believe that Manchester United did not see Marcus Rashford's potential to fill the gap in their attack. Manchester United had sidelined Rashford arguing that he did not meet their performance standards. But Rashford had a wealth of potential to bring victory to Manchester United; it was just that they were unable to improve him further. Now Rashford has found a great team at Barcelona. His performance has been excellent by contributing to several matches. It's no surprise that Rashford prefers to stay in Barcelona perhaps because he is more appreciated there. And now Manchester United seems unwilling to lose Rashford's excellent performance. I think Manchester United is taking advantage of this situation for their own financial gain. And it seems that Manchester United doesn't really want Rashford to return. In any case Barcelona really wants him to stay and even Rashford's decision plays a role in determining the outcome of the transfer.

The same applies to Rashford, Barcelona hopes Manchester United will be generous enough to let him go at the lowest price. After Marcus Rashford's performance this year, it has become almost impossible for Manchester United to sell him in installments at a low price. Manchester United could probably sell him for cash to any European team, not even Barcelona. Why bother with installments? If Barcelona really want him, they need to generate some financial resources. Otherwise, they can't complete the transfer. If I were in Barcelona's shoes, I would offer a cash payment with a reduced transfer fee. Because it makes more sense to acquire the player while he's already settled into the team.

In my opinion, £26 million isn't too expensive, and Barcelona could sign Rashford. However, Barcelona's problem isn't the transfer fee, but Rashford's salary, as his salary is relatively high. Barcelona will face difficulties if Rashford can't be registered with La Liga. This is similar to the case with Dani Olmo, who, just a month after signing him, couldn't be registered with La Liga due to salary cap issues. But I'm confident Barcelona will find a solution, and they will definitely sign Rashford for the price he's become a key player for the club.

If so, he could continue playing for Barcelona in Spain. However, if he doesn't lower his financial expectations, he will likely return to England and a transfer to a Saudi Arabian team could happen. Whether Manchester United wants him in their squad also depends on their new manager. If the new manager wants to get the best out of him, Barcelona might not allow him to be sold.
