He is a very good player and his been playing and showing amazing performances, I think since after his rise from the Everton Team his been spectacular going to Newcastle, it’s been a very difficult and challenging time for him this season in the Premier League, but his been very good in the Champions League this season, Newcastle is a very difficult team to negotiate with, considering Anthony Gordon is a Liverpool born and his from merseyside and a Liverpool fan, he would very interested in playing for his boyhood club.

I see buying of players as another type of gambling. Spending so much on players is risky because some of them might end up underperforming when they move to a new club. Liverpool seems to have so much money to splash on the players they want. The bank-breaking signing of Alexander Isak is still fresh in my memory. The Swede has not shown that he is worth the amount spent on him..

I also think the Premier League market is much more expensive than in other countries. And it seems very illogical to me because players like Isak or Gordon can be found much cheaper. Very high fees are paid for transfers between teams in the Premier League. I still can't understand this. This isn't just the Premier League; if a Premier League team wants to acquire a player, they demand a very high transfer fee. It should be proportional to the profit. Other teams, knowing the high earnings of Premier League teams, want to take advantage of it.

Don't forget he's only 18 years old. Lennart Karl is a promising player for Bayern Munich. Especially after losing a player like Kenan Yıldız at a young age, we see that Bayern Munich is placing more emphasis on its youth system. When you have such a star player at 18, what he says isn't that important. Furthermore, what he's saying isn't just about any German team, it's about playing for a team with a history of success, a team that, if I remember correctly, has won the Champions League 15 times. The high price demanded for Gordon doesn't make sense to me. Newcastle are arguably the best at marketing in this respect. Last year they sold Isak for a very high price. Now they can market Gordon as well. I still don't understand why English teams spend so much money on transfers. Gordon wasn't very successful in the Premier League this year. My apologies if I must have likened Liam Delap to Diego Costa in the past,  forgive me, he is not even close to him in the slightest way. I must have gave in into one of these hypes from my uncle who engages me with football discussions. But then again, the Chelsea owners who are after buying and selling of players to earn profits are the cause. They should know this is not American football or baseball.

Everton on the other hand needs a good number nine, that way we can see the best from Jack Grealish,  Ndiaye and Drewsburry Hall. Feeding whoever brought in with chances. Some players are not meant for big clubs, Liam Delap is example enough.

I doubt Liverpool would want to sign Gordon for a high price. I don't think a player like Gordon is worth £80 million. Liverpool should learn from their transfer policy, where they bring in players at high prices but they don't perform. One of Liverpool's failed transfers was the high-priced signing of Isak from Newcastle, who failed to perform well and was often injured. Perhaps Liverpool would want to sign Gordon for a fee in the range of £40 million to £50 million.

Honestly speaking, I wanted to counter on how disastrous the signing of Liam Delap will be on Everton because of how trah tier he is playing for Chelsea but reading your post made be realize that indeed Chelsea has this no. 9 curse that has been with them for some time, maybe going to Everton might bring back his charm from when he was in Ipswich.

I'm not 100% sure if the news is accurate, but I know for sure that a club like Newcastle won't find it difficult to take advantage of certain players even when they don't worth the price. Of course, Mo Salah is going to leave, but I have been screaming before now that Liverpool ought to have arranged a proper bid/offer for a player like Rodrygo. Of course, we know how reluctant some players can be when it comes to leaving Real Madrid for other clubs, but with offers that isn't far from what he's currently receiving, and with a guaranteed starting 11 position after the departure of Salah, I don't see him declining the offer. Well, this news has been circulating for while but nothing seems official, like no one took a bit serious act in it. Rodri is such fantastic player like everyone is well aware from his competency. So his addition at the team sheet will definitely make good sound. Real Madrid really need such a good player like who can help the team to stop opponent attack with heavy tackle as well as having a good ability on distance shooting such as Casemiro.... So I think Real Madrid will be a good place rather than Barcelona.

Rodri is on the brink of turning 30 years of age, I think this will be his last big contract. His current contract duration is until summer 2027 and I don't know whether Pep has said anything about his future yet or whether he does it like he usually does, he will talk about it when the time has come while nobody knows when the time has come except for him.

Guardiola's contract ends in 2027, but he can stop it anytime I think. If he wants to stop after this season, it would be no problem. Some of the players will revise their options then and for Rodri I think the doors of the Spanish clubs are wide open. He would make a great Barcelona player with his versatile qualities as a midfielder and Real Madrid knows that they need a player like him since they miss the times when they had Modric for example.

Whether Rodri would leave this summer depends on the price tag. He could leave Manchester City as a free agent next season while this season I assume they will ask quite a lot of money for him.
