He knows his time with the club is done and all we are seeing is just like a movie and I wonder who directed him to think that way. Onana has been a great goalkeeper for the Red Devils but not matter what is going through his head I think he should think of leaving and come out open to say he'd like a challenge elsewhere not coming to fight for what he knows he has lost even before going on loan, some of the fans sees him as the problem of the team and that shows a lot of signal for him to leave but I still don't get why some players choose to fight for their position when they know fully well that ones they lost that position it can't come back again unless Onana is planning on being the 2nd choice of Manchester United. I don't think we can really complain because 20 years ago we were used to see a lot of players basically retiring in their early 30s. Now playing in a big club until you are 35-36 years old is totally normal. I feel like I saw Ronaldinho playing for ages but in reality he left Barcelona when he was only 28 years old, and when he left AC Milan (and European football) he was only 31 years old. We are talking 15 years ago and so many things changed in the meantime. Griezmann is 35 years old, it's a good age to move to the MLS.

To be fair Ronaldinho is a bit of a different example than others, normally people do not really stop playing competitive football at 31 years old, even in the old days. Like Zidane and the whole head butt thing happened when he was 34 years old for example, and to be fair he could have still played 1-2 more years if he wanted to, but even at 34 years old that was normal age to retire back in the day.

Most players didn't stop playing at 30 years old if they are good, it was only the bad ones or the ones who did not take care of their body that ended up retiring at that age. But most good and talented players went until at least 33-34 years old, and nowadays that is more about 35-36 so only a few years difference. The biggest comparison to those days in the last few years is that, when they are 35-36 they do not retire, they go to MLS or Saudi league instead.

Retirement age hasn't changed much for over 20 years until now. Players have retired even earlier or move to lower league for various reasons for the past few years also.

It depends on what you mean by retirement age: complete retirement or leaving elite football? Because I wouldn't really consider the players who kept playing in the 4th or 5th division of their local league. I was talking about playing football at an actual professional level. And I think it's pretty clear that the average carrier got longer now compared to 20 years ago. Before we had only the top athletes reaching certain ages (Maldini, Zanetti, Totti), now it's more common to see players who are 35, 36 and even 37 years old being part of the teams. The diet for sure changed a lot, 20 years ago there was way less attention to what athletes would eat, now many of them even have a personal chef and strict dietary protocols to follow.

The whole Messi story playing for Barcelona and earning an extreme high amount seems like a fair agreement, this is a balance trade besides they had the chance to let him go earlier but, still retain him because of his name secondly he won major trophies for the club.
This club lack a good management plan, probably they spent so much money building the football academy reason why they don’t bother making transfer.

Immediately after his loan spell at Trabzospor I expect an immediate permanent transfer deal to any interested club because I don't think he still has a place at Manchester United. Giving him a chance in the Manchester United team after all he did to the team and after bringing back the joy through senne Lammens will be a very big blow on fans. André Onana is a good goalkeeper but he is no longer good enough for a big team like Manchester United. Allowing him on the bench would also have a way of influencing the players mindset negatively. So it will be best to handle his case as that of Antony after returning from Real Betis on loan. If the manager allows him into the team he could continue to cause downfall of the team and get the coach disorganised.

Onana was not joking. He said the right thing if the number one spot in MUTD should be competed. So he can take his spot back from Lammens as long as he can perform beyond our expectation. However, i believe he's still far away from taking back his spot as Lammens is far better than him right now.
Lammens had a direct impac to the club after he replaced Onana. He’s very calm and vocal when defending. He’s has potential to be a world class GK. At first he was a bit bullied by the other team but he is far better now after he gain his confidence.

So it sounds impossible for Onana to take Lammens's spot as main GK of MUTD right now. Yet we can't really blame Onana caused by any spot in the main squad should be competed. It's a hard earned spot.

Though I don't actually think that he is joking when he said that, but I don't think that Manchester United will want to give him a second chance as their number one shot stopper, considering how they have found peace with senne lammmens in goal.

I think Michael Carrick currently has more faith in the abilities of his new goalkeeper, Senne Lammens, who has performed quite well and is very solid between the sticks for Manchester United. Andre Onana seems to still have high confidence after what he has  been through so far. Perhaps he still believes that he will be able to shine like he did when he was with Inter Milan, and I think that is  indeed possible, but for that to happen, he will have to work even harder,  because Senne Lammens is not a rival he can simply dismiss, especially since Senne Lammens seems to fit in well with the Premier League culture.

It would be a serious strategic mistake for Barcelona's management to sell Yamal, because he is an 18-year-old player, still very young, and can contribute a lot to the club over the next 12 years or more. He is also a good player for the Spanish national team. Keeping Yamal is more advantageous for Barcelona than selling him, no matter how high the price. There aren't many 18-year-old players currently with skills equal to Yamal's. Therefore, selling him would be a mistake.

I’m in support of Andre Onana coming back to Manchester United to fight for his place, There is no way that Trabzonspor is going to make his move permanently, because I don’t think there was a buyback or option to buy for a permanent deal in his loan contract, so it’s obvious he will come back to Manchester United to fight for his number one spot, because he is obviously the number one goalkeeper in Manchester United right now.

It's not about the big money, Barcelona has another reason to reject the offer. Yamal has become a youth icon for Barcelona and the only player who can compete with Real Madrid young players. We've seen this rivalry for several seasons, with both Madrid and Barcelona boasting impressive players. If Yamal were to leave for PSG, the balance of the youth market in La Liga would be disrupted.

It's hard to understand the way Juventus management is thinking. The fail in UCL and title race of serie a is just making them interesting to extend Spalletti's contract. Honestly, i'm getting surprised with it. I guess they're trolling us or what?

I have rated spalletti failed in coaching Juve. So i think the better they replace him with someone else. However, Juventus management seems see something special from Spalletti, but i feel weird. 

For me, i consider it has a very bad decision. They shall appoint someone else with better capability to replace him.

I would sort of understand UCL, to be fair I would have expected them to beat Galatasaray at least, but as long as he put them at top 24, that's all they could ask for from Juventus, they didn't had any other bigger belief, and only got hopeful for a second because they were playing one of the lesser valued teams in the league.

However, what he is doing at the league is the real trouble, they should be seeing how the league is doing badly, they were a team that could have been top four, and now they are hoping at least a sixth place would be possible. This is why I do not think that they are going to be really keeping him for too long, but if they insist on one more year, then next season will be the deciding factor. If he starts doing badly next season too, then he will surely be fired.

  Well. On the other hand, what's he left to do? Admit that expectations for him were exaggerated at the time and ask to join the Championship or Serie B? I didn't follow his career in Turkey, but I saw compilations and it was the same Onana as at United - a series of brilliant saves and terrible mistakes. Any club that needs consistency and reliability won't take such a risk with him. Ah, buying overvalued players and then not knowing how to get rid of them is United's signature style.
