Well, for me the problem wasn't this that Xabi Alonso was inexperienced or he is using the ordinary team tactics or blah blah. Despite the problem that caused a failure for Xabi Alonso is the player. i genuinely do not see van de ven as a star player i don't even understand why he is highly rated he is just a player with pace poor in tackles, easily beaten by attackers, not that great in the air, lacks composure etc.

I respect Allegri, but Real Madrid might have better options. Perhaps they should talk to Jurgen Klopp. If it comes to Real Madrid, I'm sure he might want to return to coaching.
