I didn't come across this news here maybe I skipped it. Marie-Louise Eta is now Union Berlin's intern manager. She was announced after the previous manager was sacked. She is now the first woman to manage a men's first team in a top division of the European Leauge. Big news as female managers are now becoming well recognized in football. This is big news because it's the first time a female coach has managed a men's team in Germany's top-flight football, and it's also the only female coach to lead a team in a top European league, even if only as an interim coach. I still wonder what made Union Berlin appoint Marie-Louise Eta as interim coach when there are several male assistant coaches. But regardless of the pros and cons of appointing Marie-Louise Eta as interim coach at this time, I wish her success and that she will make an immediate impact and improve Union Berlin's performance.

Casemiro will make tens of millions of euro from Saudi leagues, I am sure of it. Imagine making like 30-40 million a year, and he will not waste most of it, and after taxes and agents and so forth, he will keep half of that, and that will be good enough for rest of his life.
I am telling you, even if you buy like 30-40 homes back in UK or wherever he wants to do, worth 1 million each, that would make you enough rent that you would not ended to work ever again, no coaching job after he retires, no pundit, he could just relax and rake in millions every year without doing anything.

Well I commend him for wanting to try other options because this is simply what is needed when the growth starts calling, he is a good coach and have shown that with the brilliance that Bournemouth have shown in the premier League over the last couple of seasons. It would be nice seeing him continue in the premier League but probably a bigger club with bigger aims to see how perfectly he has improved.

Like I said in my reaction to his supposed move away from Manchester United earlier, moving to Saudi Arabia will be the best option for Casemiro. He's achieved everything he needs to achieve in club level and should now play for the money so he'll have a good life after retirement. But if he decides to play more for the passion of the game, that'll be okay as well. He's Brazilian and at such, I don't think he'll be getting pundit jobs after retirement, maybe he'll become a coach of top teams.

Yes, I agree with you on this, and I don't mean any disrespect towards Arbeloa but the truth is this, for any coach to succeed in a club where you have too many star players especially in a club like Real Madrid where some of these big players consider themselves too big to be led, then you must first establish yourself as the number one figure in the team which was what Xabi Alonso failed to do, maybe because he lacks the charisma.
Actually, perhaps he wanted to intervene with the players too early. He should have spent a little more time with them and then he could have done what he wanted more easily. His career wasn't just that of a simple football player. He was a player who played for the best teams in the world. And now he's had a very successful career as a coach. But at Real Madrid, trying to do things too quickly led to these results. I think a little patience is needed. Am guessing you're talking about Xabi Alonso's exit from Leverkusen and the timeframe how short it was with the team he has already started making success with just to accept a bigger role with Madrid and just couldn't make something interesting with the Real Madrid team because of players differences that he the coach couldn't command control and respect on. Nevertheless, the current situation in Madrid demands a coach with higher pedigree for sure, because to be able to handle the big names in the club you must have that charisma and pedigree to which these players reveres.

He'll probably make a lot of money, especially in the Saudi Pro League. But it's not that simple, because there are taxes and other expenses. Even so, Casemiro should be quite financially secure, although many players continue playing football after retiring.

These days when team are doing well in place like the Premier League but clubs are still handing over new contract, lol. whatever it is a rare occurrence for a player to leave his job on his own accord in such a situation. This made me understand one thing clearly that the man has a lot of appetite and is not afraid to take big risk to pull his career to the next level So where will his final destination be now? I have already seen that his name has been linked with a few team in the middle and upper tier of the table. In fact any team that can manage to sign him will be very lucky. Because they will get such a master coach who can produce result much higher than expected even with limited resource and less capital

If you wanna talk about tax than you probably would notice that Casemiro and most of the top football players that earn huge amount would pay close to 50% of taxes in UK. Saudi Arabia offers no personal income tax iirc on these football players so thats one of the reason why most players below 30 nowadays would consider playing there Its one of the lucrative deal they have alongside the higher pay check

While they "could" play together, we have seen what happens when you put too many star players on the field. Real Madrid is still failing to make Vini and Mbappe play together, while Mbappe scores a lot, Vini has gone into shadow realm and failing so far.
Because Mbappe keeps drifting to left, and Vini is forced to take a step back, and just let Mbappe win them the games. But when the team doesn't fit together, and only one player shines, we see the issue. Olise could come and disturb that even further, unless they make a change. This is why I keep saying that what they need is a pure striker, someone like Lewandowski or Haaland, so that they can sell Vini, put Mbappe to left, and put the striker up front instead.
Exactly when you keep many star at his team at a same moment then definitely it won't be able to make any good progress because all of them will try to hunt individual rather than team work and definitely when your team progress are sloppy then definitely your team will not even won any single match or even trophy. So similarly Killyan Mbappe, Vinicus Junior are two stars, and both are only aiming for their individuality, and to their bad toes are in front of us like super bad..... I don't think that the addition of Earling Holland will make some good things to team because he is star player and probably he will also show up his ego Infront of Killyan Mbappe and will also hunt for individual. So I don't think that all of these egos can stay together at Real Madrid.

A very good coach, he is really trying, and you can’t blame him for his actions because the team is not after winning trophies that was why they sold some of their key players. A serious team will not have Antonio Semenyo and sell him to a bigger team, but the club did that because they want money; therefore this coach have his right to let them be and face another challenge. Bournemouth were unbeaten in the premier league in their last nine matches, even though it is its six draws and only three wins, they did well among the other average teams because they are among the teams that always give big teams tough time in the premier league this season. I believe with their performance so far this season, the coach is a good coach and will have a bigger team when he leaves the team. I see him as a generous coach because he refused to signed more contract, unlike others who will sign contracts and terminate the contracts when they see another opportunity.

I think Xabi Alonso was too fast to leave Leverkusen for Real Madrid.

Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraola has told the club he will leave that the end of the season that he needs to face another challenge in his career according to @TheAthletfc, I saw the news in the early hours of today. I was a bit surprised, but I have seen unexpected departure that are far worse. For sure, he's definitely going to get a new Club in the premier league or anywhere else, but I think he's likely to take a Job outside the premier league, especially if he wants to stand a chance to win titles. Bournemouth on the other hand couldn't tie him down, knowing fully well that it's not easy to get a good manager these days. I hope they don't start struggling again because we know how competitive the premier league can be, and failing to recruit the best is never a good idea. Best of luck to Iraola on his next coaching phase.

On paper actually it’s not that he actually was sacked but he actually left on his own will and personally I think that was also the big mistake that Real Madrid made because we all know that the issue that made him leave was the dressing room which wasn’t under his control and that situation is actually something that no manager will be able to cope with. What I expected from Real Madrid then was to sit with Alonso and try to get the dressing room back but strong rumors had it that top players actually or most senior players were against Alonso. Once a club hierarchy actually takes the side of the players instead of also being fair to the manager those kind of club actually fails because lack of discipline will actually shatter the dressing room. All of the top managers today actually were and are still strict with discipline in their dressing rooms. For me I think the best decision for Real Madrid is to actually bring in a high profile manager into the team because the level of top players in the team will make any young manage feel like a weakling. But a top manager will strengthen them and that’s why Deschamp and Klopp are great options

Can we consider Xabi contact termination as dismissal? I read couple of times on the internet that he left than where it was said they dismissed him. If he was dismissed right, the way they ended wouldn't be this silent. We have seen how clubs dismissed their coach and the controversies around it but he went his way and never spoke about what happen behind the scene even though that's what happen most of the time, they don't talk when they leave the club. Xabi has did his part, it's left for Arbeloa to do what's important but then the team is still looking like who are not looking stable and ready to take the team to a better place. I want to see what Arbeloa reaction is going to look like if they finally summon the courage to play a 90 minute match with Mbape so they can see how that guy has been hindrance to their gateway of winning matches in the Laliga, this has been long overdue but they are acting like he is not part of the problem.

Since he'll be leaving the team at the end of the season, it's now time for Iraola to continue with Bournemouth. He'll try to take the team to the best possible position by the end of the season. I think he could manage a team in Italy. He probably won't go to a team outside the Premier League. I think he was a good coach; I still don't fully understand why he was let go.

Of course they don't want to keep paying him 20-22 million euros per year, that is an insane salary that doesn't make any sense. There is no defensive midfielder in the world worth that amount of money, let alone someone who is 34 years old with declining performances. And surely Casemiro wouldn't accept a 60-70% salary reduction.
I agree too, paying that sort of salary to a 34 year old footballer is excessive, and to be honest, I don’t understand why the player would rather go and play elsewhere than stay at Manchester United on a reduced salary. Then again, we know that in exotic leagues like the saudi arabia superleague, he could continue to earn a lot, but the competitive edge is gone and he’s decided to end his career. I guess because Camisero knows that at 34 years old he has only one big contract left in his career, and probably he wants to take full advantage of this opportunity. I'm sure he can find some club in Saudi Arabia willing to offer him the same amount of money he is currently making at United. He can also play there for a couple of years and then move to the MLS or back to Brazil when he is 36.

For me I think the best decision for Real Madrid is to actually bring in a high profile manager into the team because the level of top players in the team will make any young manage feel like a weakling. But a top manager will strengthen them and that’s why Deschamp and Klopp are great options
Very good options, bro, but given Deschamps' recent clashes with Mbappé, I don't think that option will work out. Florentino loves Mbappé and Vini, and I think Klopp is always the best option. But let's wait and see what happens tomorrow with the Madrid-Bayern match; that will undoubtedly bring about a change we don't yet know regarding the coach. They're aiming for their 16th Champions League title, and I believe in a comeback. If there's a comeback and Madrid wins the Champions League, I highly doubt Arbeloa will leave, even if they lose La Liga. That said, I can't deny that I'd still love for Klopp to arrive, even in that scenario. That coach has a unique aura, and that's what Madrid needs to truly come together.
