You will never be able to grasp the true nature of Rafael Leao if you judge him only by his goal. I agree with you it is not something remarkable for a top winger to score only 9 goal in a season. But the big clubs are not lining up behind him just to increase their goals. Can you ever deny his lightning speed, dribbling and ability to destroy defenses? These are things that cannot always be measured by stats

I could see he has a direct hand in 12 goal in 25 match. So I can not say that he is playing completely useless, dude. The big club usually look after on players profile and his future potential. They do not just look at the current situation. So his season may seem average on paper. But his value is actually in his dynamism  on the field

I admire Manuel Neuer who despite his old age, still performs quite well in goal. Bayern Munich has planned for him to stay at the club for another season until 2027, perhaps this is part of a transition plan so the new goalkeeper can learn from Neuer.

Even though he is already 40 years old, with his current performance he is still worthy of being the Munich goalkeeper.. he has good reflexes and this season he has an average save rate of 62%, which is a good performance for a goalkeeper. so, it's normal for Munich to extend his contract for another year because there is no guarantee that if they replace the current goalkeeper it will be as good as him, and one more season allows Munich to scout a new goalkeeper who can take over his position.

I do not have enough information to say that he is a bad coach in general but his performance here was not good, but what I want to say is that these contracts need to stop. He did not deserve that money or any similar amount. Imagine you get paid for destroying cars in a mechanic shop instead of fixing them? The industry needs to adapt some reasonable changes and stop paying people that suck only to terminate them. There should be clauses that allow you to fire them for free if they seriously under perform like it was the case with this coach.

There are actually clauses like that and I think if I can recall the clauses is said to be in his contract too that if doesn’t works out in less than six months that he will be asked to leave and not paid compensation. Personally I don’t actually blame him because in my opinion Chelsea saw the inexperience he had but opted to bring him to such an unstable team. Their biggest mistake is letting Enzo Maresca leave. Right now there is no great options in the market except till after the World Cup where some top managers in the international market will leave their nations for probably club football

Well my point is that it should not be limited to six months at all, because that does not make much sense. They should be able to sack someone in the first year or two for bad performance without any compensation. The industry has become greedy and established all sorts of bad things, overpaying coaches and players who perform terribly. This is not going to bring back the golden era of sports, it is only making sports worse. If you perform terribly, then you should not receive any extra compensation for being fired even if it is after 6 months.

I think Manuel Neuer has proven to be one of the best all time goal keepers. He has been very good with what he does over the year and I think it's a good one if Bayern Munich plans to keep him at the club till 2027 and I also think deserves it. He will.also be a very mentor for an upcoming goal keeper to learn from, so if the plan is to  him, so the new goal keeper can learn from him, then it's a very good decision by the club.

It is one of those positions where age takes less of a toll than compared to other positions. So if you are excellent at being a goal keeper like he is, then you are able to stay longer and perform quite well as long as there are no other issues such as injuries. He is one of the best goal keepers of all time, there is no disputing that and remember he is 40 years old and look how well he is doing this still. But soon we will have to say bye to him and it will be another end of an era for those who have been watching him for a very long time. Sometimes these things can feel a little bit sad, but it is not avoidable. I do remember still the golden ages of football when I was much younger. Since then it was gotten worse even if there are times when it is very interesting and entertaining.

Leão is a very good player but since the injury everything changed, I think his poor performance started when he renewed his contract, things we saw him do stopped coming with him to every game. He looks unserious and him going to anybody those clubs will make the manager of the clubs to have a personal training with him because he is the kind that would have better chances to get a goal but he'd do something stupid in front of goal. A big headache to his current club, he should have been like Mbappe of PSG to Ac Milan but this joke we see him showcase on the pitch is really tiring.

I have just seen the video clip with Wayne Rooney tonight pn how he plans to win the Premier League Competition and Champions league competition with Manchester United.
He also reflected on his links with moving to Saudi Arabia and how himself and his wife are not ready to leave and yet to fulfill their dreams with Manchester United. Wife of Bruno Fernandes do not even know Manchester United fans love her husband much more than she does, but I'll leave that conversation for another day.

He just needs hard work and discipline.The 2022/23 season was his season, when they knocked Napoli out of the UCL , back then nobody could stop him. I remember there were always two players on him. That season Kvara also showed his skills.Those two were the best players in Serie A at the time.I think there’s still time for him, but we’ll see

He has gotten part of the spotlight in recent seasons transfer window and shild he is not being much talked about his talents is known to be good and during the world cup he can even do better and get a stronger view.

Max Allegri should be mad honestly considering players he's worked with from.the past and they gave him more than 100%  on the field of play. Leao is not as coveted as last season, his decline in quality is very clear this season, I don't know if it's because of the incompatibility factor with Allegri or other things, but he's still not a bad player, there's always value to be gained, so some of these top teams are making good moves to bring him in, the only thing that might be quite difficult later is the price, 60 million could make those teams think twice about buying him.

Check him out, 2 seasons back some persons see him as one of the players to compete for the Ballon d'Or or even making the headline every week and even being one of the highest goal scorers in the Serie A but is like he doesn't take football too serious. Before now I was expecting Ac Milan to kick him out of the club, selling him to one weak league and before you know it Portugal national team will stop calling him, maybe that would make him sit up and start training more to stay fit and in form. The sad part about this guy is that when he waste an opportunity he doesn't keep a sad face but you'd see him smiling, hardly see him frawn...is like he doesn't care what people say about him.

The day Manuel Neuer leaves Bayern Munich will sure leave a deep dent to them. I have known him since I was young, and here he is still playing at the top level of football. Plus, he has been so loyal to Bayern Munich in that some teams never even bothered to bid for him. I am not sure if Bayern Munich will be able to get someone to fill in the legend's gap
