I admire Manuel Neuer who despite his old age, still performs quite well in goal. Bayern Munich has planned for him to stay at the club for another season until 2027, perhaps this is part of a transition plan so the new goalkeeper can learn from Neuer.

I think it was time to finish with Neuer back when he got injured while skiing and was out for almost a year. Yesterday he (for the first time in 16 years) repeated the Chelsea goalkeeper's anti-record: he conceded 5 goals in the Champions League without making a single save. He's probably not to blame for any of the goals conceded, but a top club still expects a goalkeeper to make a corresponding contribution. Is the aging Neuer capable of doing so? It might be too risky to find out in practice.

Barcelona has to be the worst team ever in term of player transfer. They keep toying Rashford's transfer when the player itself already agreed to take a paycut to be a permanent transfer for the club. It's JUST need 30 million to buy out Rashford from MU. Why can't they do that instead of make everything complicated like this.

That's my reason why i think they'er a stingy club. Where in the hell they can get a backup winger with Rashford's calible just for 30 millions? it's very very cheap. I don't see a sense behind their decision to hold Rashford's transfer.

I hope MU won't be trapped by reducing Rashford's price for them caused by it's already below the standard.

Barcelona is broke so what did you expect from them? But to be honest Barcelona is one of the worst team I have ever see when it comes to transfers, imagining that they are not willing to pay 30m for Rashford and they are still want one more year of loan deal, Rashford is even willing to reduce his salary and Barcelona is not willing to pay the price, there are some Barcelona fans who want to use his performance against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League to judge his performance saying that he did not play well and that is why they think he is not the right player they should buy as a backup for Raphina.

I did not blame Barcelona because there are many teams and Rashford chose Barcelona because they are having a good season, it will be a shame if Manchester United allow Rashford to spend another season on loan in Barcelona because they are not going to sign him and they will spoil his career, Manchester United should not agree with anything Barcelona so that they can sell Rashford since he is not longer in the club plan.

The Special One is increasingly materializing to return to Madrid, there are many candidates that I see but because of the crisis of coaches who have the criteria of a winning mentality and coaches who can master the dressing room of course only he is available. Bruno Fernandes could be more successful with Manchester United next year. Carrick will make the most of him. Saudi Arabian teams are waiting for him to leave, and in that case, they could offer him a very high contract and bring him to Saudi Arabia. However, Carrick trusts him and knows he will be more successful with him in the Champions League next year. I don't know what Fernandes' decision will be, but staying at Manchester United might be better for his career.

Same here, I'm one of his admirers as well, his proved to be a reliable goalkeeper and has been doing his job excellently for many years. His been both Bayern and Germany first choice goalkeeper for many years and was only not in the lineup when his injured or dropped for technically reasons in less important matches. Other clubs has had fine German shot stoppers over the years but they have not been able out oust him all these years from his spot as the nations goalkeeper. Just like you said, this is the time for Bayern Munich to start looking for his placement as soon as possible.

Personally I think the relationship with the club have gone bad, considering his statement about how the club wasn’t really interested in him stay last summer when the Saudi Arabia Clubs made an offer for him.

Well I think right now he has shown that he can still perform at the highest levels and at the big stage, I the Manager would want to keep him for another season, because of the Champions League they will be playing next season.

Perhaps they’ve to consider his level of experience and ability to play through difficult times in the game, this season he has the highest assist in the Premier League, I don’t really know if he will be offered a new contract, but I’m sure he is staying for next season.

He definitely will be very instrumental to the club, because they will be playing in different competitions most especially the Champions League, so he would be staying put in the Club, I don’t think Manchester United will be getting any better player right now than Bruno Fernandez.

Manuel neur has been one of the few goalkeepers that you can single out that have made great impact in football and have also won many trophies with Bayern Munich and has even recorded a world cup win which is something you don't see every now and then but truth be told the attacking force of the teams yesterday actually made the goalkeepers look like they didn't know what they are doing.

Bayern Munich now needs a new goalkeeper. They haven't had a goalkeeping problem for a long time; they've always played with quality goalkeepers. I don't remember Bayern Munich having a goalkeeping problem since Oliver Kahn's time. Neuer has done a lot for Bayern Munich since he was young. Now he needs to hand the gloves over to a young and talented goalkeeper. I'm sure Bayern Munich has already started searching for a good goalkeeper from their youth academy or from Germany. I think they will make the best choice and overcome their goalkeeping problem for a long time.

I don't really watch Bayerns game unless it's in the champions league so I wouldn't know the average performance of Manuel Neuer, but watching him yesterday, it really shows how old he has become, from the legendary sweeper keeper to a stay in the goalie keeper. But one if the most impressive thing I like about him is his distribution from his post to the opposition third and that level of crosses is phenomenal.

In my opinion, no professional footballer should ever make disrespectful comments about the teams they've played for or any other team during their career. That goes against the spirit of football. You should always respect your opponents and your own team. Of course, things might not always go as planned, but even then, you need to maintain professionalism.

Some club sometimes deserves to be cautioned after their unfairness to some players or mismanagement of the team, this is also part of sportsmanship for me but one have to be careful when they speaks in order not to find themselves in a tight spot.

The problem was the club never had a better coach and this reason affected their performance seriously including Fernandes but, I’m sure Carrick will make good use of the players most especially Fernandes. Certain players don't need to adapt especially for strikers, they are not really needed to do anything other than score goals and be available always in front of goal. Take Haaland as an example, he plays for Manchester City one of the best passers in the league but he is similar to Osimhen not so good with playing the ball but very good at scoring. Osimhen can play whatever style they are playing and still adapt. Adding Osimhen is a good idea but they also need to bring in wingers to balance the team properly. They need to decide on which of the players need
