They only interest from the Premier Clubs is Manchester United.
I don't think Man United management will make a decision too quickly. Meanwhile, I see the current MU squad is comfortable with Carrick, who's producing better results than before. So, I speculated that if Man United tried to replace the manager again, something bad would definitely happen again. It's better to keep Carrick than take such a big risk.

It seems the rumor about MU to hand Carrick a permanent contract is just getting real. I think he deserves it after he is suddenly improving club's performance. His club went from mid table to the top table in matter of months after his appointment as an interim.

So i think his capability to handle the club shall not be doubted anymore. It's interesting to see what kind of squad he will build for the next season. It's because i also hear Manchester United is preparing around 150m to build the squad for UCL next season.

Several names already linked to them, but it's not yet clear what's gonna be carrick's choice. If they really hand him such budget, i hope he will go for Anderson.

The most obvious solution that for some reason was delayed for so long. Mourinho recently said that Carrick is the ideal candidate because he knows the club from the inside and understands what needs to be done. Like there are all the reasons to make him the main one and not a single one not to, what else do you need, dogs?  Grin Thank God United's management made the right decision. As for next season's prospects, I'm cautious. 150 million is nothing compared to what Liverpool and City are spending. I'd be happy with a good performance in the Champions League and a top-four finish.

It was likely to happen cause lots of key figures in the board and senior players in the club showed support on giving him a permanent deal and if you evaluate the time he spent to build relationships with his players and helped them to become successful you won't hesitate to give him the job, he's been the best manager since his arrival and if the league were to be udged by when he stepped in, Manchester United would have been in first position with 30 plus points.
They've made a very good decision, now is the time to seriously back him with quality players, if they get their transfers right the second time, I fear Manchester United would be one of the toughest team to play against.

It seems Man United is preparing for Casemiro's departure. According to sources, Manchester United wants to get Ederson. He is a defensive midfielder from Atalanta, 26 years old. But Atalanta reportedly wants €50 million. However, Man United seems to have to compete with Atlético Madrid to get him. Meanwhile, Ederson only has one year left on his contract. Not only that, Man United also wants Lyon winger Afonso Moreira. He is 21 years old and has performed very well with 8 goals and 11 assists in 35 matches. Reportedly, his price is €25 million.

Source: https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/48691227/transfer-rumors-news-man-united-atletico-madrid-eye-atalanta-star-ederson
It's not a wise decision for MU to target unproven midfielder instead of abandoned a proven one. Honestly, the better they were getting Anderson instead of Ederson, which is unproven midfielder with 0 exp in PL. They have to learn from Hojlund and Zirkzee. They wasted money on those unproven strikers from serie a, and it's ended as a scam transfers.
Honestly, they will prefer proven PL midfielder instead of unproven midfielder from other league. However, many of PL clubs are pricing their midfielders so expensive. So they may use Ederson to scop out their interest from those PL proven midfielders with the hope it can drive the price down.

If it's the scenario, hopefully, they can get what they wanted. Nevertheless, Anderson must be preferable one. He's cheap salary, PL proven.

Yeah Carrick should definitely get a new contract. Considering he has gathered the most points in premier league for a team since he took over, if he was running the club from day one, they could have been even leaders, but if not, it is still a huge achievement to make this team third place considering how they were doing under Amorim.

So there is no doubt that he should get a new contract, Carrick should be given at least 2 more seasons on top of this. If he fails or gets worse then you can fire him, but for now he looks quite great.

With the joy in Manchester United’s fans face since Micheal Carrick take over after sacking Ruben Amorim, I think Manchester United fans will not be happy if he was not given the job at the end of the season because he has improved the team to the extent that Manchester United has performed more than almost all the top six clubs in the EPL, they defeated Manchester City and Arsenal and now defeated Liverpool, they have been incredible since Carrick took over as they have already secured their champions league spot even before the end of the season.

If Micheal Carrick is given the job and the management manage to buy some new players to strengthen the squad, I think Manchester United will be among the team to watch over next season, they will be playing on the Champions League as well as other competitions in the England so they need squad depth to withstand the pressure.

Long before now, it was obvious that Michael Carrick is deserving of this appointment due to his ability to stabilise Manchester United when the team seemed to be disorganised, recording series of loses week in week out especially when Reuben Amorim was incharge, when he first took over, nobody thought he would be able to turn things around but he did by surprising us all by beating all the top sides including Manchester City and Liverpool.
Give Michael Carrick the job he deserves it. Michael Carrick will 100% get the managerial job at Manchester United. However, I doubt he is going to take them to win major trophies as they expect. Reuben Amorim is the worst coach this dispensation has seen. The player who he misused are the same players Michael Carrick are using to do wonders. Also, the one game every two week has helped Manchester United to stay in the top 4. The team is healthy, no fatigue or injuries to slow the team down.
The problem isn't that Carrick isn't showing that he's capable of taking the job beyond the position he currently holds but it's about the Manchester United board not still being confident with him despite how many games he has won and where on the table he has taken United to even securing a UCL position after staying in the 10th position on the table for about half the season. The board just think that he might not continue with this progress in the long path after giving a full role on the job just as others before him has being.

Who told you that Manchester United management doesn't have confidence in Carrick. I don't think that they have any plans of bringing a new coach by the end of the season after what Carrick has displayed. There's no recent news currently that United is looking for a new coach to manage the club because they want to give Carrick another chance next season.

I do agree that Amorim did terrible and still stayed, so Carrick should definitely stay. He has done a lot better than just some caregiver or interim manager, he has stayed until the season and he is finishing third place probably.

Only reason why they are not doing it just yet is the fact that they want him to be third, and they do not want people to think otherwise, if they give him a contract now, he will be more relaxed and won't really care about rest of the season and could drop. Whereas if they do not give him a contract until the season ends, then he will feel at the edge of his seat and that could be a lot better for him and we could see him try harder, which could result with them being third place at the end.

Carrick is the leading candidate to take of Manchester United next season, the board have been very convinced about his work and project so far and are already discussing internally to make him the head coach next season.

Honestly since he took over Manchester United have been a total different team and they have been very good, they have even secure a champions league football for next seoson, so for me it is only right for him to get the job because he deserves it.

Next season is will be a big test for him, so from next season we will see if truly he his the right man for the job or it just one season wonder from him.

Yeah Carrick should definitely get a new contract.
I don’t even think Manchester United management are even suppose to think twice before offering him a new contract. We can see what Carrick have been able to achieve for Manchester United within a short period of time, so Manchester United management doesn’t have any excuse for not offering him a new contract only if the management are happy with the way Manchester United have been performing poorly under previous managers.

When the season started and Amorim was still the coach, who believes Manchester United will qualify for the champions league next season. Manchester United performance was so poor under Amorim, but since Carrick joined, everything changed. I will say Manchester United players are happy with their new manager, that’s why all players are putting more efforts. It’s now obvious that Manchester United main problem isn’t the players, but the coach, because Carrick is now working with the same player’s Amorim was using.

I think the most difficult part of coaching jobs is bonding with your players, getting them to be willing to do whatever you tell them. Putting more efforts for the sake of the manager is only seen when the manager has perfected his dressing room duty. This Manchester United team is very accustomed to Michael Carrick and they are showing their love by putting more fighting spirit while on the pitch. Most of these players were the same set of players under Ruben Amorim, but what I can say is that Michael Carrick has captured their trust and now play each player where he best performs which also gave the players the confidence to shine out there. Bruno Fernandez for example would never forget Michael Carrick who has given him the opportunity to join the long time most Assists records and hoping to break the record too. This is possible after the coach changed his initial DM role to AM unlike Ruben Amorim who I would say was only feeding his ego and refusing to take correction.

If Manchester United management doesn't give Michael Carrick the job, I won't be surprised because even his last time as interim manager, he never lost any of the games he played but still couldn't secure the contract. Manchester United management has to look away from this experience thing and give him the contract immediately especially now that he will be taking them to the champions League.

These are pure speculations and noise, there is nothing certain yet until the season is over before they can pen down another contract talk. The third place of Manchester United is assured already but let's see if this was a pressure side or pure influence of Carrick. Everyone knows he made this possible but the club wouldn't go with another paper talk until they see the final, it wouldn't be nice to see loss win loss win to the end of the season.

Most likely, they are gong to settle for Carrick, not like they don't have choice but they are going to spend money to get a new person. It's affordable to keep him because he wants that too than for the club to bring another person that may not do well and may charge more than what they are not ready to bargain because going to Champions League is another big job and all of these are not assured if they bring new coach to continue from next season.

There are 2 possible reasons I think behind Arsenal's asking of him.

- They might be thinking of a replacement for Trossard / Martinelli. Rashford could really be a better option than both on the left wing.

- Arteta can even use him as an alternative to Gyökeres. Rashford can do better than Havertz.

But the thing I'm wondering is whether Carrick wants him back or not...

If that's the case, the management is wrong. Because when we look at the team's current position and the style of play, it's clear he's a successful manager. He should be given at least another year to see what he can do. The fact that he brought Manchester United to this level already shows us how good his technical skills are.

Who told you that Manchester United management doesn't have confidence in Carrick. I don't think that they have any plans of bringing a new coach by the end of the season after what Carrick has displayed. There's no recent news currently that United is looking for a new coach to manage the club because they want to give Carrick another chance next season.
Please do your homework and get that piece of information for yourself, for any ardent Manchester United fan that is up to date with United's gossips they would know what am saying. It's not even just the board alone that are still doubting about Carrick long term progress with the team but other past legends of the club whom I feel most of them ain't giving him the support, for what I think it's personal, but in all, their support on Carrick do influences the Manchester United board decision a lot, that's why no statement has being made about extending his contract as actual coach.

The best thing would be for Manchester United to bring him back, because Marcus Rashford is a brilliant player and, with Michael Carrick, he would find a new life in Manchester. If Arsenal were to sign him, it would be a huge gift to a direct Premier League rival, and it would mean that Arsenal would want to offload either Trossard or Martinelli (I think Trossard, as he’s 32). It stands to reason that Rashford wouldn’t be a substitute for Martinelli, and he has shown recently at Barcelona that he can still play well on the wing and be decisive when cutting inside to finishing.

I least expected that Rashford could be interested in Arsenal, I still think the two most likely outcomes are either Rashford stays at Barcelona if Barcelona can find the money for him, or he returns to Manchester United if Carrick can convince him. As for Arsenal, I hadn’t even considered that possibility, but on the other hand, if you look at how much money Arsenal spend on transfers every year, they’re obviously always going to be looking for new players. I think Arteta might be looking for someone more suitable than Rashford. And if Arsenal manage to win the Premier League and the Champions League, then I think Arteta could get whatever funding he wants for new transfers.

I mostly struggle to understand what is happening with this media and there transfer news, and I hardly believe that there news are even real because I don’t really know what they’re doing at all, How is it possible that Arsenal are linked to Marcus Rashford, I don’t even see Arsenal being interested in the player because it’s way too forward for me, I will only think it’s just an ordinary rumor because that is what it is for them, if Arsenal are looking for a winger I believe there are other winger options that are younger and they could possibly sigh that other players who knows what it would be for them anyways, everything is possible in transfer news.

If the management of Manchester United wants to sack the current coach, that means they are fools and don’t mean well for Manchester United, how can a coach be doing so well in the club and you want to sack him for what reason, a coach that has taken the team to a very good position and because of him they will be going to the Champions League next season and you want to sack a coach like that after many years of poor performance and now you are seeing a very good performance you want to sack the person that made that possible is that not foolish, I believe they will not even try that rubbish they are thinking of doing.
Carrick will remain in Manchester United because he has proven to be the best coach that Manchester United needs.

I wonder when this rumor mill ever got a news story right? Whenever I see news from this source, it always raises a big red flag in my head, telling me: "Warning: content with less than a 10% probability of being true or happening in the future." Arsenal is unlikely to be involved in the deal between Barcelona and Manchester United, because Rashford has said several times that he prefers to stay at Barcelona.

So, that means he's happy at Barcelona and in La Liga, and with the current Barcelona coach, he'll be able to significantly improve Rashford's skills, because he still needs to score consistently. I believe the Arsenal coach has realized this and will want to sign a player who scores consistently or whose situation at his club is already clear.
