Bought by PSG and then immediately loaned to Aston Villa, in order to get decent playing time. So now Emiliano Martinez position is starting to shift? I don't know much about Suzuki, other than seeing his performance at the World Cup. A good career improvement, Suzuki just needs to be patient because to take the main goalkeeper position of Emiliano is definitely not easy.

But the latest news is that PSG failed to bring Suzuki in. All of this happened because Suzuki agent made a lot of changes, so the agreement for Suzuki, who was all set to go to PSG finally fell through. The failure happened because at the last minute, Suzuki's agent asked for a 50% increase in commission.

When it was known that Suzuki failed to join PSG, Aston Villa suddenly recruited Suzuki and he already went through his medical test at Aston Villa this morning. The news is that an agreement was reached between Aston Villa and Parma for €30M plus €5M in bonuses. Honestly, I think Parma was really smart to profit from Suzuki after he performed exceptionally at the World Cup, which ended up attracting many clubs. But unfortunately, goalkeeper Suzuki chose Villa, where Martinez position is almost impossible to displace unless Martinez gets injured.

I'm seeing the rumor says that Mourinho approves a move for Zubimendi. Since Barcelona got best DMF in the world as a part of their team. So Real Madrid has to do the same thing. I think the idea to buy him out from Arsenal becomes an alternative idea. However, Zubimendi is far younger than Rodri, and he has active long term contract with Arsenal.

Real Madrid has got to make it best decision if they are actually going to consider for signing Zubimendi, Mourinho is pushing forward to see that things are going to be more better henceforth than before with Real Madrid, I'm surprised to see many that are always on the attacking side against Mourinho contacts over Real Madrid, but I think there is much to also expect now with the kind of pattern is trying to bring for what this new season and make some changes for better.

Real Madrid should act fast so that they can sign him and hope for a better season with the number of players they have in the team already. Zubimendi is the kind of player that Jose Mourinho likes and he has the backup of Real Madrid president on the number of players he wants and if he successfully sign Zubimendi then we have to expect a positive outcome for Real Madrid next season. Those fans who were against Jose Mourinho coming to Real Madrid believes that he wouldn't take the team far since his pattern is ancient but with what he's doing in the transfer market we should expect a strong attacking force from Real Madrid.

Barcelona currently have an approximately gross debt load of over 1,4 billion euros. Does it look like a healthy financial situation to you? They didn't fix the current situation offloading the big contracts, such as Lewandowski's, but because they sold slices of future TV rights, licensing, and even club assets. So, yes, for the moment they improved the situation but what is going to happen in the future is still very unclear.
You people need to understand that there is something called "debt financing". People suddenly forget this when it comes to Barcelona.
Madrid has a gross debt of about $1.3 billion, Chelsea is $1.39 billion, and Manchester United hold a gross debt of $730 million. Having debt of that amount is not ideal, but for clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United that are super global brands and generate a lot of money, there is nothing to panic about, because most of these debts are long-term debts. Meaning they will pay them over the long term.
Very simple question for you: are you implying that Barcelona and Real Madrid are basically in the same financial situation?

I think if Real Madrid table a very good offer for Zubimendi Arsenal would definitely sell him, judging by his performance towards the end of last season for Arsenal he was off form and always slowing down the tempo of play of arsenal in most cases wouldn't play forward, Arteta had to replaced him with Lweis-Skelly who is apparently in his best form since preseason started as for me I would rather sell Zubimendi and retain the younger and energetic Lewis- Skelly now with Bruno Guimarães already in Arsenal who also has Declan Rice in their squad that means  Arsenal midfield is already formidable with experience depth thus Zubimendi is surplus, let him go back to Laliga and I believe Jose Mourinho would use his experience to play him in role at the team midfield.

I don't think Zubimendi is the type of player Real Madrid really need right now. They need a defensive midfielder who has had a better season than Zubimendi. So, I feel it's not the right time for Real Madrid to go for Zubimendi as an alternative. All they need now is a player who can properly take up the defensive midfield position, which I'm not really convinced Zubimendi may be able to control well, even more than Tchouameni. In fact, I don't even know why Mourinho is sensing that they really need that defensive midfielder to make the team stronger. If Mourinho had taken action since he arrived, it's possible that they would have gotten Rodri by now.

As for Arsenal, I don't think they will be willing to sell Zubimendi, unless they get a good offer from Real Madrid. However, I don't think Real Madrid are likely to sign Zubimendi for a reasonable amount. They may be able to convince Arsenal and let him leave, but let's wait and see where the rumours lead us.

Enzo Fernandez has returned to playing decidedly more concrete football, giving certainty to questions that fans have been asking for some time.

Chelsea is lucky that the team interested in him does not want to come forward for the requested fee because this gives the Blues the chance to play another championship with one of their best players in midfield.

Although Chelsea's transfer deadline has ended, there are speculations that Manchester City are still interested in signing Enzo Fernandez. Since the general transfer window is still open until 1st September, City can still get him. The Argentine desperately wants to leave, considering that he has lost the support of many fans since his transfer saga started.

If Enzo is unlucky to remain at Chelsea, he would have to work very hard to gain the confidence of the fans. Not playing in the Champions League might be a motivating factor while some players are leaving Chelsea.

Very simple question for you: are you implying that Barcelona and Real Madrid are basically in the same financial situation?

Is that what you got from all the explanations I just made?
Madrid generated more money than Barcelona. They were not in a financial mess like Barcelona a few years ago, so how can they be in the same financial situation? They have also moved to a new, fully renovated stadium, so how can they be in the same financial situation? Even before COVID, when Barcelona were not in a mess, Madrid was in a better financial situation than Barcelona, so I don't understand why you would ask this. Or do you imply that because Madrid are in a better financial situation than Barcelona, it invariably means that Barcelona is still in a mess?

Madrid are obviously in a better place financially than Barcelona, but even you can see that they are not completely in the clear, just like all the teams in La Liga. There is a reason Madrid has been trying to get players for free and spend big on players where it is absolutely necessary and because they have teh best finance in the league, they have a higher salary cap, so registering players would not be much of an issue. Like I've already told you before, the problem is not whether they make the money because Madrid and Barcelona make a lot of money, the problem is the restrictions of La Liga.

I don't think football supporters have a good memory, If you are a good player and you start performing poorly tomorrow, they will forget your good contribution and can start criticizing you quickly, if they had an issue with you, and then start performing so well that it is hard to ignore, this same fans will chant your name, and praise you. That would be the situation of if he's able to start the season on a very good form, the fans will quickly forgive and take the points he gives to them as consolation.

Even if Zubimendi will leave Arsenal, I do not think it will be this season. He adds to Arsenals squad depth, and if he starts performing better in training, Arteta will surely hand him a chance.

Rodri is definitely a better player compared to Zubimendi, but I think Zubimendi is also a good player, so he will not be a bad signing if Real Madrid can get him from Arsenal,  although I don't think it's going to be easy, because I think Arsenal also wants to keep him for squad depth. Real Madrid really made mistake not to act fast on getting Rodri and allowed Barcelona to hijack the deal. Rodri would have really improved their midfield,  but they already lost him to Barcelona. The Zubimendi deal will not be an easy one, but we have to watch out for it till the end of the transfer market.

Ahhh now again they are trying to compete with Barcelona......

To be honest their rivalry make obsessed with football because everytime they do all of his best for better competition.... Like right now Barcelona are the dominat force with current Champions and still tgey brought so many good players such Gordon, Adymee, Joa Cancelo and Rodri. So that's why Real Madrid is also try to get a solid midfielders like Rodri because he is Balloon d'Or winner and they didn't have any Balloon d'Or winner. 😁....

However, Martin Zubimendi is an extraordinary players like he has lot of quality and even in Real Madrid sweet he can submit himself too easy. Thus far right now Arsenal got Bruno Guimaraes and definitely they will used Martin Zubimendi as second choice. So I think this deal can easily be sealed in the favor of Real Madrid.

So buying him out will be a costly idea for sure. But they were able to paid so much money for Diomande. How can't they do the same to the proven player like Zubimendi? Honestly, the most damaging thing for Madrid is that unable to replace Rodri, and now they're not waking up, and they let Rodri goes to Barcelona.

I think the only best solution to also strengthen their club by signing an alternative to Rodri. Do you guys think to buy Zubimendi out from Arsenal is possible?

This shouldn't be a question anymore because Mikel Arteta is ready to let Martin Zubimendi out if only the club that wants to sign him will agree to pay the €90 million release clause. The arrival of Bruno Guimarães was the reason why Arsenal are interested in selling Zubimendi since they value Bruno more than him but that doesn't mean that Zubimendi is not valuable to the team or that he has any problems.

Rodri is more of an established player than Rodri but since he has now joined Barcelona, Zubimendi should be a perfect signing from Real Madrid because despite that they already have players in the midfield, Zubimendi's clinical performance will be needed and there's this aura that players who joins Real Madrid do have which entice them to give their best performance in order to entertain fans and win their heart.

For sure Chelsea can’t continue with this same drama with Enzo Fernandes . The club can’t continue keeping a player who doesn’t want to play for them anymore. He’s driven by the champions league football and that’s why he’s desperate to leave the club but things took a u-turn because Initially he wanted Real Madrid but somehow along the line Real Madrid refused to make a bid for him. Currently only Manchester city are interested, Enzo Maresca really wants him and if they could match Chelsea’s asking price they will sell him because of the growing tension.

Zubimemdi is a good player but he's not good enough for the current Madrid team right now. Arsenal would definitely want to keep him if he was that important. Though he is not a bad player but he might not be the best option for Madrid at this point. Real Madrid are in no competition with Barca after they secured the signing of Rodri, but it is evident that an experienced defensive midfielder is needed in the squad.

He might not be a starter at Real Madrid but could progress to the starting 11 based on his performance. In the first team, there is Tchouamemi and also Camavinga, would he break into Real Madrid's first team ahead of Tchouameni? He would have to prove himself to the team if this transfers pans out.

Eh, from what I'm seeing on the news, Aston Villa paid £35m for his services. PSG were in the race but dropped their interest so I don't see any loan arrangements there.
A good signing for Aston Villa and also a great move for the Japanese shot stopper. I've always hoped he'd go to a more experienced club so he'd be more recognized but I guess I didn't have to wait long.

I'm not saying Diomande is a good or bad player but you really can not use highlights to rate a player. Of course, you don't expect to see the bad side of him in the highlights, it's always a combination of good performance of the player you find in the highlights. It you want to rate a player honestly, you have to watch them play full match for multiple times because even one match is not enough to give a good rating.
Yes your right, I do not really watch bundesliga so well, and I actually got to watch his bad moments too and they aren't as bad, plus real Madrid know what they saw in him that made them willing to take him for such amount.

Regardless wether he is worth it or not we will get to know this new season, I got to watch his first match his performance wasn't really bad, but honestly not what I will expect from a €140 At the same time it's too early to judge.

Are you trying to say that because Arsenal wants to sell Martin Zubimendi that he is not fit to play at Real Madrid? If Zubimendi is not important to Arsenal why then did they want to sell him for €90 million? Since you said he is not the best option for Real Madrid after their principal target Rodri signed for Barcelona, who do you think will make a remarkable signing in the midfield of Real Madrid. There is no better midfield than Zubimendi if you must know, maybe you didn't check his performance for Arsenal last season. Real Madrid is worried because Rodri has joined Barcelona, they can pretend that they are fine but they still want a player within the calibre of Rodri.

Rodri to Barcelona  is finally done with 65M and another 5M for (don't really care) . A bit pricey but it still close to the border line , could have been really pissed if Barcelona  pays 70M+ on signing alone . Heard he signed a contract till 2030, think he's trying to end it at Camp nou .

All that's left is Avarez, or should I say Atletico  Grin because Atletico is currently the problem lol. Just  let him go  Tongue

I think Rodri's transfer will reshape Barcelona's midfield. From what I can see, they've found the best midfielder since Busquets. Busquets was also very good in midfield at Barcelona. After he left, Barcelona hasn't been able to find anyone as good as him. Rodri is now coming to fill that gap. It was also a transfer coup for Real Madrid. Real Madrid wanted Rodri but got nothing in return.

This Japani boy is very talented and he will be the one from japan in the top league of the world. Last world cup he give some dominated performance and everyone eyes on him for a sign but aston villa steps forward in the deal and sign him. I see Fabrizio post and I thought he becomes a psg player but the actual drama begins when psg sign him and directly loan out him to aston villa. If Suzuki show himself in premiere league I think he has the ability to become a top goalkeeper in the world in the future because this guy is very talented and he will definitely show himself in the biggest leagues in the world.

Enzo Fernandez has returned to Chelsea to play some real football and we think he is an important midfielder for the Blues because he played a key role for the team last season. However we all noticed there were rumors at the time that Chelsea would not keep him, which led to Manchester City being interested in signing the midfielder since their team's world-class midfielder Rodri joined Barcelona for approximately 77 million euros.

Besides the price the Blues are asking for Enzo Fernandez is a much more difficult and expensive offer for the city giants, as you may have noticed Chelsea's asking price for this Argentine midfielder is 120 million euros. But it still seems that Manchester City's new manager Enzo Maresca is keen to work with the player again for the 2026/27 Premier League season because to my knowledge it was during his time at Chelsea that he became an influential attacking midfielder under Maresca.
