house edge can also be a reason to lose money , but i think the main reason is that people do not have control over their emotion and even do not play gambling with planing, which also another reason of losing money, most of the people depend on their luck and they do not have any experience and skill in trading which cause another reason of their lost in gambling.

If for example one match of basketball game ratio is 1.05, so it means it's 95% to win.  VS casino game like dice which is also 95% chance to win.

     Well in my opinion in which one is more risky and more percentage of you winning is depends on the person, So let say if the "B" person knows more basketball than casino games like dice it is much more like the "B" person will bet in for a basketball game than casino that's because the "B" person knows that game well and knows the players the "B" person can predict base on the skill levels and on the previous matches on the game but if the "C" person has been playing games in casino for a long time the "C' person will choose playing in casino games that's because the "C" person knows the game inside out, just same as the "B" person.
