The final distributionmodel
Dear Bitcore community,
we wanted to say thank you to all of you and your broad support!
The first weeks were very successful, and we are happy to announce you the following points:
1. The claiming at bitcore.cc from the april snapshot will end exactly in November, the 2nd, 2017, 12 pm CEST (UTC +2).
2. The increasing demand of Bitcore motivated us to gift you with two nice surprises.
We will create an actual snapshot of the bitcoin blockchain in october, the 30th. Every adress with min. 0.001 BTC will be funded with 40% Bitcore (BTX) of the total amount per bitcoinadress. At this way, we will distribute approximately 7 million Bitcore (BTX) directly. In the end we drop around 45-50% of all nonclaimed bitcore and increase the circulation supply with around 8 millon coins.
We load the coins directly to the public keys, which are included in the snapshot. You can redeem them without a time limit.
We also have a special surprise for our loyal bitcoreholders on october, the 30th. Every bitcoreholder with local wallets loaded min. 10 BTX gets an special one time airdrop of 25% instead of 3% !
3. We will be updating our weekly 3% monday airdrop. At the beginning of october, we place an online registration page for the 3% airdrop. You have to registrate ONE TIME your BTX adress with a signed message. From november, the 2nd, the weekly monday airdrop will be only paid to registered adresses. The rule to have min. 10 BTX in your wallet will be dropped.
To be sure that you are captured for the snapshot, it is imperative that the Bitcore (BTX) have arrived in your wallet not later than 6 blocks after midnight!
We reserve the rights to make changes as required.
Your Bitcore Team

Is it possible to claim btx if it was in a multi sig wallet when the snapshoot was taken. Could their be anther way to claim btx from an btc address besides signing a message, maybe sending small funds from that address because multi sig wallets dont have sign message option.

These dumbass piece-of-junk devs have their heads up each others asses! It is disgusting, ridiculous, and stupid to try to dump BTX onto BTC holders again who clearly don't want it. It will NOT lead to broader adoption, it will just lead to millions of coins being lost out of circulation because they will not be claimed. BTC holders have had five months to claim their BTX and have claimed less than 3% of what they could have gotten. It is time to slice the BTC holders out of the loop, and give all airdrops only to BTX buyers!
thanks for your thoughts in such an educated manner!! if you ask me (and you wont) i dont care if they dont care. Devs could also burn those coins if they want to, and its fine by me.

In defense of the devs: i agree with them. the idea to get BTC owners into the BTX world is a smart ploy i thinks. and while here, to say u don't agree because "u think differently" is a lot more sociable than saying "...devs have their heads up each others...". BAD FORM ANNA! shivad

I disagree. With your use of language as well as with your claims. The main reason most BTC holders haven't claimed their BTX yet is the fact that Bitcore is still a project flying under most people's radar. I hope this circumstance is currently changing. Anyway, if the price for BTX continues to rise, I am pretty certain many BTC holders will claim their coins, maybe even a year from now or later. Dropping 4M coins to BTX holders all at once when the current supply is only 1.3M like gwestcot suggests will surely result in a massive dump and is short-sighted, any other projection is illusional - not everybody holding BTX cares about it. If there are some whales looking at BTX as a short term pump-and-dump a 3x increase of coins will certainly result in a massive dump. These guys will not care that they get +66% in the next few months. I would highly recommend to stick with the dev plan, if you are going to vote. It will benefit this project the most imho.

These guys will not care that they get +66% in the next few months. I would highly recommend to stick with the dev plan, if you are going to vote. It will benefit this project the most imho. I suppose it is a risk but there are risks on both sides of the equation. The devs proposal makes the project look illegitimate to anyone who comes across bitcore and it also makes it harder to get on exchanges. To me distribution in a quick but efficient manner is essential. I don't necessarily think that many "whales" will sell their coins just for the sake of the pump and dump and if they do then the coins will get bought on the cheap by people who believe in the project. I suppose I am no whale but as a disclaimer I will say that I am now a top 100 holder of BTX and I will continue to accumulate in large numbers. At any rate, Bitcoin Cash is a good example to look at. People received 1 to 1 with BTC and then people dumped it in mass numbers... As time went on the price recovered because people that believe in the project bought more on the cheap. The same sort of thing will happen with BTX and the market will reach an equilibrium as it always does in a free market. Trying to restrict supply to keep the nominal price per BTX higher is basically market manipulation and I don't necessarily welcome that. Additionally, many of us got into BTX and were tentatively told that there would be drops in steps and now the plan has changed. I think my plan makes more people happy than does the dev's plan. It would also free up the devs to simply work on the organic development of the coin and in return the price would most definitely follow.

That's right, the current model proposed by devs gives +25% to addresses with 10+ BTX. However gwestcot suggests a drop of 25% of remaining coins. That's almost 4M right now.
