The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Current Supply 1,195,602 BTX
Total Supply   16,625,338 BTX

So does that mean the weekly airdrops will go on till 16 millions coins were airdropped?

That would be great - this could go on for long time, if there are still 15 millions coins to be dropped

Hello Bitcore community,
The message is getting out there and I think that we should all make an effort to post a comment in support of Bitcore on Bitcoin Cash thread or wherever people are seen arguing between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Bitcore is actually superior to both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. So, why shouldn't Bitcore be in the conversation as "The Real Bitcoin"? You don't have to worry too much about Bitcoin Cash people getting upset. I've only had one person who seemed upset and I simply told him that he needs to join the Bitcore revolution or get left behind because Bitcore is the better coin. You don't even have to argue with people, just jump in on the conversation and post the reasons why Bitcore is better than Bitcoin Cash and that's it. People will start taking notice and once CMC corrects the numbers and we become a top 30 coin, we will moon.

Since the Bitcoin Cash is the focus in the crypto space due to what they tried to pull off last weekend, we can get many of their followers to stop wasting $1300 on an inferior coin and buy Bitcore.

If you need a brief comment, just post something like this:

Bitcore is a better coin than Bitcoin Cash. Bitcore is faster than Bitcoin Cash and has a larger blocksize 20 MB (Bitcore) vs. 8 MB (Bitcoin Cash). It has Segwit and Bloom Online and it's only trading at $25. Why waste $1300 on an Inferior coin such as Bitcoin Cash? Join in on the Bitcore revolution or get left behind.

In addition, Bitcore has a 3% airdrop every Monday, as long as you own some Bitcore coins in your wallet and register the address on www.Bitcore.cc. The airdrops will increase to 4% next month, 5% in January, 6% in February and continue to increase by 1% each month until the coins have been fully distributed. That's free money every Monday, which other coin offers you that?

This is really the core of the issue, well said and this is the message to spread around. I have been already mentioning Bitcore in whatever discussions on BTC-BCC for a long time now.

Bitcore (BTX) - Airdrops every Monday

Just to get an idea. How much people are investing (as in spending money on exchanges) in this coin?

I only had 0.02 BTC around the 2nd Nov snapshot, and I am not even sure if my BTCs were part of the snapshot or not. So, not worth for me to go through hassle of claiming when I will only get half of it. Therefore, I decided to buy some BTX from exchange and hold it and receive 3% more each Monday.

Anyway, I have to send some BTC to buy the BTX on the exchange and decided to send 0.01 BTC (about $90 AUD) from my JAXX wallet to cryptopia. But got really worried when the confirmation showed I would be charged 0.003376 BTC in mining fee (WTF!!). Thats like $35 AUD in fees. Not worth sending $100 AUD worth BTC to exchange when I would lose $35 in fees to buy this coin.

So, I am asking the question, how much people are investing in this coin?

To really make the higher mining fee on BTC worthwhile, I would be better off sending large some given the fees would be same instead of smaller amount and buy this coin. Just curious to see what other's take on this. Invest more on this or hold the BTC.

Another option is to mine this. But I only have single AMD R9 280x GPU, don't think it would cut it for this coin.

And that is why we just have to love bitcore. Super fast and such lovely small transaction fees Grin

Imo the question „to mine or not to mine“ is always the question of trust. Not for the fast run, but for the long term. Just getting the electricity cost in return today, does not mean it’s not worth the effort- when (not if) this coin will start to fill our hearts with the warmth we all deserve Wink

Now Segwit2x is cancelled, Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Cash are finished, people are searching for a new fork of Bitcoin? Bitcore has everything.

And on longterm, Bitcore is for the new generation, not slow, bloated, difficult past and foundation, etc.. New young people and children will see Bitcoin as an oldtimer and they want something new, ... and pink!  Cheesy

This is pumping hard because it is bitcoin's decendant. But I wonder why this only has 1.16 million BTX, and total supply is 16M? It looks not the real bitcoin fork.

Today BTX already reached above $40, not sure what would be near term target to book the profits. Can anyone suggest why BTX is touching highs in last few days?
