What security measures are in place to prevent the loss of the gold? Is it insured in case it does get lost by any means? I am just now considering that the value of this coin depends too much on physical assets which could be lost in some way.

so what's the consensus about this project so far? authentic and verified as such, or still some uncertainty and doubt?
have the devs supplied answers that satisfy this community?
is Dubai considered to be a territory with a reliable governance and regulatory framework for such projects, or is it a bit of a wild west place?

What is the next plan for the project?
Yeah I am also quite interested in what they are going to do to keep improving onegram. This is the first altcoin that I actually have some faith in. Hopefully it actually works out. Probably the devs are finding themselves busy with ICO preparations and setting up things right for smooth ICO phase. We all need to be patient to get update here as dealing with physical gold is not a simple task. Only governments are capable of doing it without hassle. So, we must give devs enough time to lead us into next next phases of this wonderful project. Yeah I am really excited to see what they do next with this project. It is just taking quite a lot of time. Hopefully we get an update soon. |

The ICO will start on 27th May ( this Saturday ), which is the start of the Ramadan month! They adjusted the date of Initial Coin Offering right? instead of starting it on 21st of May, they move it on the 27th, why is that? |

adjusting the date of the ICO coincide with the Ramadan celebration is intentional (i guess) because Ramadan is a very special festivity for the Islam religion and they wanted to have their ICO during that celebration.

Will onegram be more expensive from bitcoin? They buy gold. Store it. And sell it when high. The profit will go to investor correct?
You are right in the sense that this currency is backed by gold but that does not mean that it will go pass bitcoin value. Bitcoin has established itself to a major cryptocurrecny. I will consider onegram to be in the top 100 altcoins in the near future. This is a more realistic approach than just dreaming. Why do people always make it look like the superiority of Bitcoin to altcoins is cast in stone. I really don't believe Bitcoin will continue to lead forever. A time will come when some altcoins will stand shoulder high over Bitcoin considering the fact that lately Bitcoin's dominance in the crypto market has dwindled. Or hasn't anyone noticed this sharp drop since January? It is not like bitcoin is going to lead forever but it takes a lot of time to overcome that advantage, the US dollar is still the most accepted currency worldwide and it has been the case for more than a hundred years and while things are changing it is going to take a lot of time for that to completely change, bitcoin is similar, it is going to hold its advantage over other coins for a very long time. |
