VERI ICO fraud.

This is a good opportunity to pick up more VERI cheap. There was no fraud, Reggie has delivered on everything promised and represented. The only thing might be appropriation of funds as we would have no visibility into that.
Reggie has repeatedly mentioned trying to work directly with the SEC and spending tons of money on lawyers. I'm confident he has a solid defense, I won't be surprised if charges are dropped in a fairly short amount of time.

To Reggie: Keep on keeping on. I for one have been proud of the work you're doing and with the level headed manner you've dealt with trolls, critics, dickhead editors, and racists. I'm long on about 20 coins/tokens but VERI is one of my top 3 favorites due to your body of work, your team, and your IP.

Worst case they refund ICO purchases, pay a fine, and block US users from their service which is going to be or was being operated overseas. The project will live on.

There's no such thing as bad publicity,  if Reggie wins the case (which is possible) veritaseum is known more widely.

In the ranks of crypto sçammers Reggie is relatively clean, he's not exactly low hanging fruit compared to Larimers or WAVES etc

I think Reggie can beat this, he has a reasonable argument why veritaseum isn't a security, and if trading your own bags is a crime every crypto founder is going to join reggie on the sec hit list eventually.

Sorry to see Veritaseum go, and Reggie & Co. sinking into the abyss due to his arrogance and pride.

He should have listened to me back then when I vehemently suggested him to burn all his 98% supply as a way to boost the price.

In fact, if he listened, I would have lots more suggestions for him to improve his business model.

The price of VERI today would not have collapsed this low if only he is humble and listened. His pride destroys him and everything else.

When it comes to evaluating business model viability, I am very rarely wrong. I say the project is as good as dead.

No, the SEC will not lose. They come ready with all the evidence necessary to win the case.

This is not a matter of simply refunding the money and then avoiding US customers. This is a matter of fraud (through market manipulation and several others) and as such, a criminal conduct.
