Bitcoin can reach 3000 USD in a year ?
If the ongoing price increase continues with respect to the increase of users around the globe, then surely within a years time we can reach $3000 per coin. Or else in the same way as Japan few countries need to regulate bitcoin as an acceptable currency. |

Sure, but it's more likely to happen in a year where the price starts between 2500 - 3500 USD.

Economists are predicting that Bitcoin can reach that value in a year, tho' there are factors to consider, the acceptance and popularity and the bloom of usage of Bitcoin can increase drastically the price. The central banks who takes note of it's regulation is a good influence too. Well nothing is impossible but we must have point on this potential and work hard in this community. Good days are coming. Sure it could get rise a huge percent within a year without that much resistance.
If a billionaire or someone with a bunch of money purchases the orders on various Bitcoin Exchanges then the price would go up within days of it increasing.
There is only a little bit of people holding Bitcoin and they are the ones that might get super rich.

My gut feeling tells me that this is not going to happen this year, with the crashes between BU and Core on-going. Once this is solved (for example, the activation of Segwit etc), we can expect double or triple the current price- which is unlikely to happen this year. Hope I am wrong. |

Its not impossible to happen because day by day many people get involve to accept bitcoin so expect it. But the main question is when and I don't feel that this year will hit that amount.

By this yeat i can confident say that it is a yes,its possible by this time.Bitcoi price now adays is keep on pumping and lose value sometimes but still rise up more than the price they use to beforit get dump.Besides 2018 is the year i predict that thats the time when it will dump

In my opinion I dont think will happen in this year that the bitcoin price become $3000 each. But I believe the price of $2000 its very possible to happen in this year 2017. If you see the price today the price now is $1300 and I think next month the price will increase at $1500. Your prediction is possible but this year will not happen maybe the year of 2018 or maybe 2019 will happen. But as of Im focus on $2000 price each bitcoin. I dont want to expect to much price.

I don't think any real economists are predicting that it'll happen. It's pretty stupid really - talking about multiplying the price by three in a year. Sure, it's happened before but those were in different circumstances, when the price was much lower and it didn't need so much of a boost to go that far. As the now vanished iamnotback pointed out a while ago, it's about cumulative increase rather than just increase. Once we're at 3000, we'll be talking about 9000 because that would be multiplying by three again. To reach $500,000 by 2030 would require a cumulative increase of 59% per year - something which could easily be achieved this year with more, and then as Bitcoin comes anywhere near that amount it would slow down. It's unlikely to ever reach that kind of level but my point is that it's very difficult for a cumulative increase to continue without genuine investor confidence - especially since Bitcoin is no longer as convenient for small transactions as fiat. |

The way it has come here in the last 12 months or so, definitely there is a strong chance that bitcoin value in the next 12 months may reach that figure if not surpass it, but again, as is the case with with crypto, it cannot be said if it is gonna stay there or not, it might get back to under $1000 in a couple of months after that. But it growing rapidly, so no one knows where it is gonna go next. But most probably, its gonna keep going upwards. |

Its possible to touch $3000 price but I doubt it will be done this year. It the trend continues, it could possibly be hit in 2018. But we all know for a fact that a slight negative news coming from FUD will cause panic then the dumping start. This is only scenario that can bring the market price down. Of course, we don't want that to happen, but this kind of things is inevitable. The good thing about bitcoin though is that it can recover from this kind of angle. We can only hope that for this year that the price will continue to rise so that everyone would be happy at the end of the year. |

If the number of users of bitcoin suddenly soared very high then it is a big possibility. Since bitcoin's value depends on the concept of demand vs supply, if the demand suddenly soared up and continue to increase after that while the supply is not that high enough, bitcoin's value will surely reach 3000USD in just a year. This is very possible since bitcoin is rapidly being known across the globe

Yes this is possible to get this target easily it is because if we will see in the beginning of the 2016 then we find that the price was about 350$/BTC but now at the beginning of the year 2016 it's price is about 1200+$/BTC that is about 3times more than was in past . So here if the demand increase ( and also why not will increase , in the current time few countries declared bitcoin legal) then the price will increase atleast to double more . So this target targetof 3k$ is small , be positive  Because patience in the bitcoin job is a way of success to make money easily . |

I don't know if will reach 3000$ in a year, but in my opinion it will hit 2000 by the end of this year (2017).
The price depends of many factors, so it's hard to predict what will be the value of a bitcoin in the future.

One thing I have learned from bitcoin ever since I have seen how it behaves is that you can’t accurately predict what the price would be in the future. It’s easy to say that at any point the price is going to reach $3,000 or $5,000 but these all seem to me as a hype job to get more people interested in bitcoin. The price has clearly held its own after the FUD regarding hard fork and who knows what’s going to be the next obstacle it is going to hurdle before establishing another solid support.

I think it can reach 3000 USD in a year, but it's not this year as there's etf rejection earlier this year and hard fork drama with BU and segwit. Bitcoin is still growing, it need more popularity to reach 3000 USD. Several countries already starting to allow the use of bitcoin in their country, several more country join and the price will jump.

if russia begin to regulate bitcoin it can reach $1500 without problem, if other country will follow, seeing $3k would not be that difficult either, it's all about adoption and regulation
i think he real boom will be when big merchants like amazon will start to accept bitcoin, but before this happen, bitcoin need to be regulated in many other countries

If we could solve this scaling debate issue I would say yes! This is the only reason why we are not really progressing at the moment. Since 2 years we are carrying that rock with us. An activation of SegWit alone could push us up to $2000 just alone in no time and would give us also tremendous potential for future implementations which are already in the pipeline!This means even more boost for future price increases! But how likely is a solution in the next few months? I have no idea but I hope we will make it this year. Hope never dies! |
