I think the Goverment gonna hate this .
1) Will Mysterium be usable in China considering all VPN will be banned next year?

When it comes to usage of Mysterium service (VPN at first), our recommendation is to follow the local law. Technically, the service will be available around the globe.

Yes, Mysterium will be usable in China... I think it can shake the Chinese internet considering almost half of the population is familiar with cryptocurrencies.

Here is the latest blog post about it: https://medium.com/mysterium-network/you-asked-we-answered-pt-2-ee55344c2d3c

Don't worry guys, the team is obviously working and they are hiring new developers...

"Hiring new developers" is the Ultimate Bullshit in crypto...
Long ago I had many corporate programming jobs and you don't get anywhere up-to-speed for at least 3-4 months...
And that is standard fluffy corporate stuff, not highly specialized blockchain/ethereum/networking/VPN/security...
Anybody that's even remotely competent in this area is getting $200,000/year on Wall Street or working on a their own start-up.

Basically...
If an ICO does not have Dev talent in place from Day One, 6 months before Day One... you can forget about it.

Which explains why every blog entry from Mysterium is a zero content piece about searching for a pot to piss in  Cheesy

I think there is some cultural business differences in their acumen, mindset, and presentation, but whatever. i would at least wait for beta before selling low. theres only 2500 hodlers, and only 250 people watching Git, which has been active since Oct 2016, so there has been significant thought going into this project. way before we all got our dicks wet in april during the boom and heard about it.  maybe someone can chime in on the code, but this network is going to be for real and a lot of us are going to stake our bandwidth for coins. (are coins staked too?) idk....i dont think ISPs would be able to disable this? regardless if the world goes down the wrong road, in 3+ years this network may become invaluable. we could debate the incentivization of tor-like networks, which i know nothing about, but overall, what we really need is a better community HERE to HELP CODE the platform..and spread the word to anyone who is a genius and likes chess apparently. this is such a cool idea, and a true representation of cryptos potential imo, other than btc's financial help for those in hyperinflated countries...anyway, cant to see how the project develops....they already hired 1 guy and said theyre hiring more so..im inclined to believe they are...hope everyone elses dogecoin does well.

Exodus doesn't support MYST at the moment. I also use it, and i dont think they will integrate it in the next time.
To see/use your tokens use https://www.myetherwallet.com/ or if you only wanna if they are in your wallet use https://etherscan.io/ and search for your adress.

Is this the only project to support Decentralized VPN? And as I see it is by far most active project in GitHub that I have seen in a while.

Yeah. I've read some articles and I think I can quote this from https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-future-of-VPN-industry

"Considering the current scenario, where governments have restricted internet access of websites.

Like in China you cannot access any social media available worldwide.

Russia banning Linkedin because the government asked for user activity data and it refused to provide it to the government.

Australia banning torrenting sites to stop illegal download

UK passing the Snoopscharter bill where the government and security agencies would be able to track the users activities.

So, keeping in mind the actions being taken by governments around the globe and people being concerned about their privacy and security, it is likely that there is going to be a very competitive environment in the VPN industry in the times to come.

Any new technology coming with the vpn service is a questionable subject."

Smiley Hope this one really works not only for the tokens price but the project itself. Decentralization these days is blooming and this is a first in its aspect.

I am a programmer myself and if there is anything I can help, please contact me. If there is need of some test nodes.

Nah.
Read about what VPN is. Briefly it is a "private" network of communicating computers that are connected to the Web.
And when we talk about privacy nothing is secure when the control is centralized e.i. the VPN providers, so the communication can be not so "private".
This project is to decentralize the private networks - no one can control, suspend, track, sell personal data and so on...
So the project is more about secure private communication. Shh CIA are listening Cheesy

I have a question. Hope that some of the developers will see it.

Is there going to be some advertisement campaign?

This project is something that is really going to change the game. I am ready to volunteer so just to be part of it.
If this isn't the future of private networks I don't know what else could be.

What do you mean? If you are meaning a bounty campaign, it already happened. Now team is working on building the actual product, and I can easily say they picked up recently and started showing real progress, so I won't expect a marketing effort before we have an actual product.

By the way, updated roadmap is coming for Myst... Github activity also picked up.

Not only the Github activity, but also the market picked up... the trading volume has tripled today and the price rised by about 20% (MYST/BTC). The new development update should be published in about a week or so, hopefully with some good news, so maybe the price will finally increase a bit again. The Github activity probably increased because the new developer joined the works.

Yeah, my point of view - this is going to be very valuable. Maybe at least $5 per token which is going to be fairly low price in comparison to what the VPN providers are charging.
