Total weirdness indeed. I see people placing buy and sell orders at those prices so it seems to be possible. Something else that got my attention yesterday is that there are trades of 1 or 2 NXT at somewhat regular intervals. This is below the minimum order quantity of 10NXT and if it would be a partial fill, why is the price of those orders much higher than the lowest ask price?? Just makes no sense.
Yeah, the intent was when it was implemented a few days ago to limit market manipulation, but it's just not working out. It should be disabled.

Old orders from before the time of 10 NXT minimum and 30% limits are there and are being filled.

We are getting more complaints of any restrictions (that DO have a stabilizing effect on price, which is considered good) so are considering removing it soon and reverting to our original plan of free trade, maybe enhanced by forced prioritization towards best offers.

Ahh oke, that explains!

I do agree that the limitations have a stabilising effect. Especially when the volume is not that high and can be influenced easily. It is just very annoying that you cannot place an order when you see an opportunity for a great trade Grin

How do you prove the authenticity of this site?

It maybe that the NXT author just inflated the prices (cause he's also owning the website) and took BTC for a crypto which has no value.

24 hours in a few minuts and the coins are hold in DGEX. Fortunately I only lost a few cents in this test.

web Fallen , forum fallen , exchange fails, manipulated prices. immature client application , no source code and profits of mining depends on the amount of currency that my fucking pc stores . a clear example of ponzi scheme in which the end of the majority of the money supply will be held by a few

This coin is not for me ..... bye next

OK ... understood, thank you very much

So, mrjitter can write a lot but he apparently can not read:

Quote
however in special circumstances they may take up to 48 hours to complete.

Special circumstances are DDOS attack of last night that rendered all transfers offline for about 12 hours.

Most withdrawals from yesterday afternoon and today are being paid right now.

Please take a reading course. 48 h-o-u-r-s  is not days or weeks.

Of course the exchange has no control over the NXT network issue, just like a BTC exchange has no control whether a BTC transaction takes 5 minutes or 1 hour to confirm.

Thanks for your kind comprehension.

In theory it can.

This applies to all data networks including Bitcoin, VISA, continental networks, DNS root servers etc.

In practise however Denial of Service attacks subside in 1-2 days.

The NXT network is not currently experiencing attack that I know of.

It's been going at 20-30 mb/s to my server for the past 12 hours, more before that, less now, but still at 12 mb/s.

if the network not is under attack then where are the exceptional circustances ?? a simple attack and the transations are delayed 48h ?? sorry but this is not serious

It was under debilitating attack yesterday and today that affected everyone using it

Even if it was not, exceptional circumstances may occur inside the exchange

I will not comment on questions arising from dyslexic inclinations any more on this thread. Thanks for your understanding.

No response. This IS a scam.

The developer intends to take real money for a coin he made out of thin air and by showing some 'virtual' innovation which sounds good, but is of no use in reality.

AND PEOPLE BELIEVE HIM!! WOW Americans.

Well I'm not the author of NXT nor American.

I'm the founder of DGEX and nextcoin.org, and this thread concerns DGEX the exchange, not the viabilitiy of NXT itself.

Regardless, I don't see suggested scam anywhere. I only see pouring out negativity arising from hesitation / envy / lack of courage or resources.

This does not answer my question.

If you're not the founder of NXT, then you may be holding a large stake in it (maybe you were given a lot of NXT just for the job and to keep quiet), and by creating these websites you're 'pumping' it'.

Now cause the coin is gaining on popularity (cause of false inflated prices as shown in the websites made by NXT holders), it may be listed in more popular exchanges and have a good price..

More suspicious is the fact that you made a separate exchange instead of requesting the existing ones to add the coins possibly cause they refused to artificially inflate the prices (or duping investors).

These sound like harsh questions, but these are real serious questions which need to be answered in order to prove the coin is not a scam. After I'm satisfied, I may invest.

Since when it is unreasonable for someone to launch an exchange? Cut the crap please!

How can an exchange prove btw that it is not doing dirty tricks?
I mean how r u sure that cryptsy, btc-e (let me laugh), bter, the second biggest chinese exchange which name I forget and inflated LTC BTC prices, and not let me even start about mtgox..

But I will save you some time mate because I like you, NxT is an elaborate scam move elsewhere (maybe Dogecoin or Quark Wink ) and don't waste your time and money here...
