The login page isn't working (though the front-page will load.) Is the site partially broken?

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011: "I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00. Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/" ...sigh. If only I knew.

It seems that the site is down ( i thought it was related my internet connection etc. )
I think there was too much traffic on it ( according to increase the volue ). Is there any info that when will be back again?
Thanks
Edit : For a while it shows the last trading currency is same.

Ok... so you can only trade NXT for BTC on the DGEX exchange.
You can presumably deposit BTC.
However, can you withdraw BTC?
I'm asking because, anyone can buy NXT using BTC that does not exist in the DGEX exchange. Just to make an appearance of demand.
How do we know that the BTC that is used at DGEX even exists?

BTC withdrawals are paid either automatically (<4 BTC, 3.2% fee) or several times a day, no problem with that at all unless you input wrong destination account.
NXT withdrawals take more time because of the constant network trouble and difficulties in verifying payments. Part of NXT withdrawals are skipped on every batch run, they require time to verify as cancelled until they can be sent again. Thus many NXT withdrawals are delayed up to 48 hours, it really depends on your luck at this point in time whether you get your NXT in 3 or 48 hours.
And yes, all trading volume is real, also the 30.000 NXT that I sold from my personal account last night when I though the trend would be turning.

Hi, i would like to know how much confirmations are needed for Nxt to arrive on the exchange?
I guess it's higher than 200, is it the 720 limit for blockchain reorganisation?

Hi Gravition, I cross-posted in the main Nxt thread. Would you consider listing DGEX in he Nxt asset exchange ?
We will need a protocol that any company has to follow to make an IPO on Nxt network and listed as an asset in the asset exchange. The minimum you will have to do is:
1. state why your company has value; your company mode of operation; total shares you re going to issue 2. your responsibility to the company and the share you are going to issue. 3. basically, it is your responsibility to persuade Nxt holder to trust you and your company
This will be included in the social contract on your IPO open for the public in a secure forum.
There is a fee for IPO and asset listing. I think it is 1000 Nxt. So if you can't persuade people to buy your share, you will lose that 1000 Nxt. If you finish your IPO successfully, your share will be listed in the asset exchange. Form that point on, the price discovery process will determine the true-worth of your company/ idea. Of course if you run away with your money, your share will hit zero and being delisted.
That is skeleton of how I think the asset exchange will work.
More protocol could be added with feedback from community.

Some people are making a shit ton of money on NxC and some fools are paying way too much for them. It may be a really good idea in the end, and I'm curious to see how it plays out, but in my opinion, currently it's way overvalued. I'm trying to get people to do some simple math and stop buying this thing at 400,000-500,000% of original stake, for something that hasn't been peer-reviewed nor open sourced. Probably the biggest bubble I've ever seen in my life, or the biggest price/volume mis-representation.
Well if it is the biggest bubble of all time, you should definitely take part of it. Just come and double your investment, it would only take few days and no risk as NXT is going to Uranus or Neptune.

Both btc and nxt can be withdrawn i know this ive used dgex many times since nxt has been trading. Thats why its called an exchange you buy and sell btc/nxt there

Hi Gravition, I cross-posted in the main Nxt thread. Would you consider listing DGEX in he Nxt asset exchange ?
The decentralized exchange? Yes of course. We will have to check the details how to do it. DGEX losing the 1000 NXT setup fee for lack of interest? Pardon my superfluousness, but that's hilarious

1,000,000,000 (1 billion) initial coins 73 initial adopters so roughly 13.7 Million each (assume equal distribution) at 21 BTC Total 0.000000021 BTC per coin
current market rate is about 0.00013 (6000x)
To those are who are buying these coins... most of the coins are being hoarded, so you can only buy them on the market for 6000x or 600,000% of what all of the 1 billion coins were paid for at genesis. The early adopters are being greedy, selling them at such a high rate for an unproven technology that hasn't been open sourced. Also, the exchange enforces a minimum order price. They're all already out in circulation, they collectively paid $3000-$4000 for them in September/October. And only a fraction is being sold on the market, at 600,000% premium.
Stop buying these coins so high.

Deposits usually take max 6 to 12 hours (depending which time you happen to transact as viewed from our batch processing time) How long are NXT cash outs taking? Are you guys able to keep up with those? Mine seems to take very long...
We are able to keep up, but some are delayed up to approx 48 hours because they're skipped by the network and we can not send them again until they've been verified to not have gone through. This is an unfortunate drawback of high volume processing currently, however most NXT cashouts take max 12 hours.

Also, the exchange enforces a minimum order price
The exchange also enforces maximum price. It enforces healthy fluctuation of 30% per hour. Stop buying these coins so high.
They're not gonna stop.
