DGEX Fees starting applicable from Jan 3rd 2014
NXT BUY and SELL: 0.25%
NXT deposits: 0%
BTC deposits: 0%
NXT cashouts: 1.2%
BTC cashouts: 1.4% to 2.8% (instant) min. 0.0005 BTC
Basically a scam of epic proportions and a way to lose all customers as soon as some other exchange starts working with NXT. I really hope that will happen very soon.

No, it's DGEX which has been scammed and lost 800 000 NXT that needs to be sorted somehow. If you can suggest another solution than small 1.2% cashout fee, I'm all ears.

Actually, I think the cashout fees are on average high (>1% for NXT and BTC). You still need wait for up to 24hrs for NXT cashout even if you have paid 1.2% fees!
I just withdraw some NXT with a fee of 1.4%!

Eventually increase trade fee. Your service is about trading BTC to NXT or other way around. Deposit and withdrawal fees should be moderate because it can happen that one deposited coins but later decided not to trade. To charge him or her 1% or more because coins just "touched" DGEX is ridicule, sorry. Moreover, given that trade volume is high and could go up much higher after open-sourcing NXT you should be able to get coins you need in very short period of time. 10,606,508+ NXT volume in last 24 hours equals 106,065+ NXT from mere 1% trade fee, I mean do you want to earn 800,000 NXT in a few hours or what?

Face it, DGEX is providing a service that otherwise would be filled by direct trading and a google spreadsheet. The fees are high because there's no competition - once there is, then the fees will come down.

Honestly, the trading volume reported by DGEX is highly suspicious.
If you look at comparables like Ripple and Mastercoin that have their own exchanges, DGEX has 10 times larger volume. In fact, DGEX has volume larger than both Quark and DOGE combined!
I seriously doubt that there is that much BTC deposited in DGEX to support this kind of trade volume.

Yes, I suspect the BTC used to purchase the NXT is fake. The reason I do say this is that the volume really can't be believed. Volume more inline with Mastercoin or Ripple would be more likely.

All DGEX trades are real. Dunno what volumes you are talking about, but the volume may still be high compared to deposits as trading fees are not enforced.
I just paid 250 BTC worth of BTC withdrawals from last night.

There are some 0 NXT trades stuck in the order book.
Example: 0.00 0.00008859
I tried to take them out but it gave me a 10 NXT minimum message.
PS - really like the site redesign.

The coins that come in and out of my DGEX account seem real to me. There are 722 pages of posts on the NXT thread on bitcointalk - it's not hard to believe that there's a lot of trading volume based upon community interest.

Together with early adopters selling off, and the rate of rise of NXT accounts, the figures are consistent as far as im concerned.

Is the transaction fee in DGEX still 0? i just put an order and found that:
Sell NXT: 100.00000000 BTC Unit price: 0.00007380 BTC Fee 0.0%: 0.00000000 Total price: 0.00738000 BTC Expiry on: 2014-01-06 02:23:59
Does this mean the 0.17% transaction fee shown in FEES page is not applied yet?

I presume you're talking about the same message that we're all seeing: "Trading has been halted due to automated attacks on the DGEX trading platform. Thank you for your patience while we work on enabling trading ASAP." In the meantime, until DGEX recovers there is www.nxtchg.com - anyone know who runs this platform? I threw 0.1 BTC on it for testing - so far so good. ***Edit*** - seems that trading has been re-enabled.
