The mining fees alone get many discouraged in gambling. I read online were a gaming site has to stop using bitcoin as a mode of payment because of the fee customers pay for transactions. We can see that gambling is a very high risk investment and putting your bitcoin into gambling is not encourage.

The high transaction fees have almost killed small bets where you send bitcoins to a particular address to make a bet. Betting companies with a model, where you create an account, deposit BTC once and then gamble are better to avoid frequent transaction fees. That is correct but most of these gambling sites should also adopt altcoins  so that we can transfer and use altcoins like litecoins to gamble instead because they confirm faster and have almost negligible transaction fees.

There was an earlier thought process that if you are gambling with bitcoin never compare the price to fiat value and if you are planning to compare those values then bitcoin gambling is not for you especially when the price against dollar is over ten thousand dollars,Nitrogen does give free withdrawal and i am not sure about rest of the gambling sites,because transaction fees is another factor you have to look into.

Well it's indeed getting higher and higher but i will urge most of these gambling sites to start introducing altcoins like dogecoins or litecoin into their setup so that people can gamble with that because they confirm faster and they have very little transaction fees which are affordable.

Why would you say that it's not meant to be this expensive? I think everyone here in this bitcointalk community wants to make the price of bitcoin skyrocket. We want it to be a million dollars and no regret in going back. If you are talking about the fees, it just means that people are willing to pay a higher amount to transact and it's a positive thing. For people that been part of bitcoin in the early times, it wouldn't be much of a hassle but thinking the price of it compared to now, it's a lot.

Relax mate, I think he want to show out is he just want to make bitcoin more rise in value and less in transaction fee and that also what I want but in reality, we cannot judge of what is to be the price and the transaction fee to be happen. Because they already planned it on which is the value of bitcoin rise and transaction fee as well.

Bitcoin price is not the main concern now but its expensive fee and a long time to confirm the transactions is the biggest concern. Not only for gambling but even to send or receive coins it is too troublesome now. It is best to use some altcoins for both gamblings and for daily needs instead of waiting for days to get our transactions to confirm.

For me betting in bitcoin is converted back to whatever it would be in fiat I couldn't see me placing 1BTC bets without thinking what the fiat value was.
Just bet what you can afford.

This is the thing that we cant really control which those fees and transactions times would really be a major thing not only on gambling industry but also into investment and it main purpose which is peer to peer transactions. Fees would really hurt us up even no matter how we deny it on our minds that its normal but still we cant really deny that its a big hindrance for us to play gambling and also to its rising price.

You are right, now the price is not making big matter the confirmation time, and the fee is making people to not use in gambling sites. Winning money in gambling is a big matter now withdrawing our winnings also become a big matter. So playing with altcoins is best no risk fast deposit and quick withdrawal.

You do realize fees are crazy high right now right?

OP isn't saying Bitcoin gambling is more expensive than real money normally, only to deposit and withdraw the fees are way too high and it doesn't even make sense that's why most casinos are switching over to altcoins.

I agree with the problem of the fees, that is something very annoying, and not only for the ones who are always gambling. It is a real problem for the whole ecosystem.
But it is not soo wrong.

Anyway, i used to play some casinos a few years ago and the minimum deposit was 0.001, and it is still being 0.001! That is very preocupant for those who are always looking to play with less than 18-20 bucks.
Maybe if this get fixed+the fees fixed, it would be very good to play again

I totally agree with that. Bitcoin surpassed 15.000$ and it's a bit expensive to gamble with. As a gambler, i used to play with bitcoin but not anymore. I quited online casinos and sports sites and i switched to card games. I do not play much card games so i'm not playing much this current period of time.
Bitcoin raised so fast and became so expensive. I honestly rather stock it instead on wasting it on random gamblings.

Correct,because of the increasing price of bitcoin its really a bad choice to use it in gambling. Instead the best option is using altcoins instead. Its better to keep bitcoins than to waste it on gambling because its more profitable than other coins.
