What other cryptocurrency are you using and which casino are you playing at? BTC is getting to expensive to be depositing and playing in just BTC.
I think doge is the best coin to play dice, because it's fast at transaction and easy to deposit or withdraw. Also the price is stable too.

as for me there is no any difference what kind of cryptocurrency you use for gambling. yes, BTC costs a lot but also your rewards will be in BTC.
If you tink btc costs a lot of you then you can set it to bits, satoshi or mbtc in this way it will turn into lower value though all are same but unit will be less then bitcoinI mean they are smaller units.

He was probably mentioning about the transaction fee for Bitcoin. A few weeks back, the average cost of transaction used to be somewhere between $0.10 and $0.30. Now this has gone up by almost 10 times, to $3.00 per transaction. And in case the bull run continues for the next couple of months, then we can expect the fee to touch $10.00 per transaction.

Transaction fees and confirmation times sometimes give us bad experiences. In such cases, we can use other coins as an alternative. Dogecoin can be the good choice in such situations because most casinos already accept it as a gambling tool. Increasing prices and increasingly dense networks, can be addressed in various ways so that we can still do our activities.

That is why I choose Dogecoin or other coins for gamble because I feel that bitcoin is too worth for just gamble. And besides that, I want to save more bitcoin from now on because i think that bitcoin price will increase higher so it is better if I can keep more bitcoin than for playing gambling.

If we use altcoin for gambling, we don't have to pay a high fee for the transaction, and with less time consuming for confirming the transaction, we can see the amount of the coin will arrive in the wallet so we can start to gamble.

If the casino offers 1 sat bitcoin bets there is not a reason to use a alt for its current value. When the minimal bets are xxxx sat it could be a problem.

You have got other options, just google search you would find many casinos that accept other altcoins such as ether, litecoin, dogecoin and dash. In my opinion, dogecoin would be the cheapest one.

BTC is currently of worth 8745 US dollars after getting stable for more than a week between 7700 – 8000 figures. The up price of BTC has helped its holders to make profit of 800 US dollars for those who have bought 1 week ago. Gambling with the Bitcoins is good if you win but it hurts the most when you lose in comparison with other less worthy coins. You can both win big and equally lose big with Bitcoin.

With the increased price of the Bitcoin, we have to choose the other choice because the transaction fee for Bitcoin transactions seems to be high when we compared with the other coin. So it is good to gamble with the Dogecoin because it is very fast in terms of the transaction and even in terms of fee too.

The established cryptocurrencies, not just Bitcoin, are getting expensive to gamble with.
Well,  I guess most gambling owners will eventually adjust when prices rise too high.
One of the problems with adjusting is that price may fall again and they may have to re-adjust again.  The adjustment should probably be automated,  so that once price gets to certain height/low , it gets readjusted.

It's one good altcoin for me because of those features and everyone likes dogecoin.

They don't have to adjust, gambling with 1 btc is equivalent to 1 btc, et al..

That's how it really works mate. They have to also readjust their withdrawal fee otherwise gamblers would have to find other gambling site who already readjusted their withdrawal fee. Anyway, if you're a high roller it's nothing for you thus what will be your concern is the game and strategy itself.

Yeah, I have that bad experience in the past, and that makes me stay away from using bitcoin as the bets. I don't want to use my bitcoin because I can save the bitcoin for another purpose. The losing money in bitcoin will be my scary moment for me because if I convert the amount into fiat, then I can see a good reason to save the bitcoin from now on.

Maybe there is a gambler who will stay with bitcoin in the gambling and they still using bitcoin to place the bets. They don't care if bitcoin price increase because they only want to play gambling.

The problem is not about the minimum or maximum bet but its about the transaction fee and delays caused when depositing your coins into the casino  . let say a casino offers 1 sat per bet but thats still useless since you cannot transafer 1 sat because you will only pay more than one sat for the transaction fees . this is the reason why other uses altcoin such as doegcoin to save alot of fees plus the transfer time is also much faster than a btc or other heavy cryptos out there

With the increased price of the Bitcoin, we have to choose the other choice because the transaction fee for Bitcoin transactions seems to be high when we compared with the other coin. So it is good to gamble with the Dogecoin because it is very fast in terms of the transaction and even in terms of fee too.

Comparing the price from the time the OP created this thread and today's btc price, it is almost 6x its value now.
I wonder what's gonna be his reaction now.
On a side note, doge is still a good altcoin as a replacement for btc. Their tx is pretty cheap and fast as well.

Some casinos are starting to convert cryptos into cash while playing at their casinos and then convert back to crypto when withdrawing...

That's the fact that Bitcoin is having some difficulty when using it into gambling, the fees really too expensive and those delays affecting your stay, while using some Alts which much cheaper and much quicker to transfer will give some enjoyment that you are looking.

I am not a big fan of Dogecoin, and believe that it is having very low acceptability. Also, it is not very stable or mature, to be used for gambling purposes. Security is another issue with Doge. I would rather go for coins such as Bitcoin Cash or Tether (USDT). Ethereum is also a good choice, but it has some security issues. So storing them can be a hassle for the gambling sites.

Doge coin is the best coin out there to gamble when the price of bitcoin starts its rally and now a days almost all of the major gambling sites allow doge coin but none of the sports book have doge coin which is a real bummer, we need doge coin in sports book too so that people can gamble without using bitcoin and the price is really high to gamble with it.

Next to bitcoin, Ethereum and Doge are mostly used coins on gambling sites.

I use to roll the dice on windice and frequently I can see this Doge has been used many times. So we can find this coin might be used many times next to BTC.
Still Bitcoin is growing everyday with and without help of gambling industry.

Doge is pretty good but don't forget Litecoin. It is pretty fast and solid as well.

Bitcoin became just like real gold. You don't use gold to buy groceries and you shouldn't spend Bitcoin on cheap stuff neither. Hopefully LN will make BTC to function as a currency again. Till it happens, use either LTC or Doge.
