Bitcoin is very expensive and day by day price of bitcoin is increasing so it is not good to spend your bitcoin on useless things, try to save and spend only money for gambling but bitcoin is not suitable for gambling at this moment. It does not really matter, the fee sometimes matters if you find it expensive but 0.01BTC will remain as 0.01BTC regardless of its dollar price.

You should not worry about how expensive BTC to be used as betting currency. You can also use litecoin, dogecoin or ethereum for betting in some gambling sites.
