I don't think that social media marketing will be any of help for Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a currency in which is use for transactions and exchanges, how will a social media ad help Bitcoin in any way in the first place? For me Bitcoin is not some kind of product in which we need to advertise to spread awareness but what we need is the actual use of the currency to make people aware more about it.

Yes it can help but you are missing one big hole in your statement when you are promoting something you are focused on the product itself not the payment methods you can. That is one of the major problems in marketing these days as they always post and post in the social media without even thinking about the product first. With this kinds of advertisements consumers will fail to identify what your product is about because you are concentrated in promoting other things as well.

You are right, most of people focus in the product not for the ways of buying, I mean here bitcoin. Anyways, this method it can help but not as well effective.

yes there is alot of information about bitcoin and altcoin on facebook twitter and youtube. the social media is very helpfull for promoting the awareness of bitcoin. alot of people are aware about bitcoin from socialmedia. but many people dont believed on them. we can aware those people whose  on word of mouth and can show the price of bitcoin in market and show our earning.

I agree with you. Currently bitcoin is even more used as an investment. Whereas the initial goal of bitcoin is used as a digital currency and is projected to replace the current fiat currency. There should be a way to improve people's thinking, for me advertising on social media will be quite helpful by connecting it with a link that explains bitcoin. But of course this depends on everyone who read and apply it in real life. We can not force everyone to obey what we want, we all just try to do our best.

Using social media for bitcoin is good, a lot of people now using social media to endorse bitcoin so that they will know that bitcoin is really good and increases its value so a lot of people will be interested in bitcoin when they see if how much bitcoin should be when you converted it to fiat.

Yes it's really happening I got Facebook page and YouTube channel for online earning enthusiasts everyone in group really interested when I post video or story about bitcoin recently I started discussing about other cryptocurrency altcoins . Well, I think most people here, for several reasons, prefer to keep their privacy and not say they use Bitcoin(at least, not yet...). Maybe it's not considered well in their country, or other reasons. So I'd say many people don't like to share their Bitcoin experience on social medias.

Also, consider, most Bitcoiners don't use Facebook or Instagram, but prefer Twitter which is a sort of social medium less personal...

Yes it is effective as hell in my opinion , all these price increase and online wallets like coinbase and some trading sites like yobit crashing is mostly because people have started searching about bitcoin on google and they want to know how is the price increasing or they just want to be a part of it. Everything is a product nowadays, sometimes we don't realize it. Whether bitcoin is a currency, monetary system, store of value asset or just a giant database is irrelevant.
It still needs to be recognized and known by masses. We need to spread the words, because there is no company behind BTC which will do it for us.
There won't be television advertising for Bitcoin or banners on your favourite news website, because there is no company behind BTC!

So recently I was using this app called Instagram (in case some of you never heard of it) and I posted some pictures & videos related to Bitcoin on my Instagram Stories (Like that day when the price goes insanely high and keep going til now). Then 2 days ago some of my friends suddenly asked me about what Bitcoin is & how could the price goes up like that. And I was surprisingly glad to know that I've influenced some people to get to know Bitcoin. And then I introduced them to Bitcoin and answer their questions about it, there were 3 people asking about Bitcoin that day just because of this 1 post.

I mean why don't we just use this power of social media to make people aware about this Cryptocurrency, well I know that there are already some people doing this (like those YouTube channels).
But what I'm talking about here is to us to post something about Bitcoin on our social media, you can just at least post something like your first transaction with Bitcoin and share your story on your Facebook or take the picture of your book that you just bought from the internet using your Bitcoin and then post it on your Twitter.

Don't be afraid to share your experience, you won't get hurt by doing it!(at least not now)

If the people on social media is related to crypto currencies and if they are interested to start trade or f they are traders then it is not bad to advertise on social media about it while if social media is not related to these things then it is useless.

Maybe i will apply your method ive been using social media too quiet a long, but i dont get too much attention or maybe im doing it the wrong way. I already have the exposure i need but its very hard to penetrate the mass. Maybe ill post soft information about bitcoin and then next would be my intentions.  

Really I too when for the first time liked a bitcoin related gambling site and made a comment to get some free coins my friend too asked me what I am doing or am I hacked and that was the time when I told my friends first about bitcoins. Though a lot of them don't like it much, but some are loving and using it secretly too.

Social media is truelt powerful and convincing. As for now there are still new social media apps being created and used by many people. There are various giveaways and ICOs counties going on through facebook and dominantly via twitter and if you tweet those then you are automatically spreading the crypto world to others while earning yourself a piece of it too. You have your point.But if other people don't care about bitcoin,i'm sure others would somehow get interested in it.We just keep on advertising about bitcoin because most of the people really lacks awareness in it.And i think using social media is more beneficial rather than getting negative feedbacks.

Social media provide enough information to those who doesn't have learnings about bitcoin. It can help every people understand the better ways on how bitcoin works and how it can be earned and provide extra income which can be used for our additional expenses on our daily spendings.
