Use Social Media for Bitcoin

Social media is the best way to popularise cryptos at individual level. Through social medias we can propagate the idea of Bitcoin among our family and friends and can properly explain them. Through them the idea will go further. Bitcoin and cryptos need to be advertised.

What is the point of advertising Bitcoin in social media or anywhere at all, if they will still not get the whole concept of Bitcoin? Suppose we made a 15 second advertisement video in social media how can we suppose fit and try to explain what Bitcoin is on that short advertisement? Yes Bitcoin can be explained when given with a long time but do you think your viewers will still be watching by then, people tend to get bored or start to be destructed around 20-30 seconds of not understanding what the advertisement is, so I guess the best thing to do is let Bitcoin itself create its own demand as it is doing good about its progress.

As you have said bitcoin is difficult to understand particularly on some people so isn't obvious that the aim for that short advertisement isn't to explain

the whole concept of bitcoin but just to spread awareness? and maybe some people might be interested to search for it.  we all know that before we get

interested into something, there has to be a trigger, for example before n person developed a hobby for soccer, he must know and tried it first right?

i think that the whole point of ops advertising on social media, for it to become a starting point to some people

this one good story OPS, i try this before to my facebook friend but nothing want give a damn question hahaha.... just a big THUMBS UP I've get to them. Then i post one thing that i purchase using bitcoin together with a graph were bitcoin started and reach it all time high. Then someone PM me asking what is bitcoin. thats the time I Keep posting more article and link in my facebook account. I explain them thru chat or Video call the importance and function of bitcoin so many of them will get aware about this next generation currency. Thanks for posting this thread here OPS!

I am also thinking about it and I really want to try to post something about bitcoin on my social media account especially through facebook regarding to my own story and experiences right from the start up to present but it looks like all my fb friends are just like a closed minded person whom I could not make convinced about it

My opinion, no need to use social Media for bitcoin.Because bitcoin is one of the best virtual currency in our world.so many peoples are know about bitcoin.No advertisement for bitcoin.

Ofcourse it is a great idea to incorporate the wide world of social media into bitcoins. It will help it be of a higher value and the demand will raise higher and higher. Although this is a good thing to be, it has also disadvantages. Social media is too much easily accessible and it is the part of the internet which is easy to hack but i guess everything has pros and cons, and i think it is more on the positive.

I've heard of bitcoin that used to only use campaign signatures until in the end bitcoin can connect with social media and that's thanks to the ads that many curious about bitcoin until now bitcoin be a name that is admired by everyone.. media social is now a very powerful weapon to introduce the name of bitcoin

The issue I have with it is if family or friends lose money. I'm all up for helping and teaching but it would be awkward if for some reason a family member or friend lost money, especially if they wasn't investing what they could afford to lose. Its a fine line for me!

Really a great idea to use social media to advertise bitcoin and other altcoins. It will lead to its popularity. Facebook, twitter, YouTube will be a very great help to educate others about bitcoin.

But, advertising may have an advantages and disadvantages of bringing it to social media. For sure others may see it as a scam.

Definitely it is good work to share your experience to others. such kind of situations have already happened with me. When I post about bitcoin on Facebook, my friends ask me to know about it. I am also interested to share my experience because there is no loss for me in this case.

I agree social media can be very effective and powerful tool to reach out to the masses and grab the attention of millions of people in just a matter of few seconds. Once whatever you're promoting gets viral you don't even need any other costly paid advertising. I think we all need to realize the potential of social media and not under estimate it and try to share bitcoin related news, informative articles, and other stuff helpful in understanding bitcoin on a regular basis on social media.

So recently I was using this app called Instagram (in case some of you never heard of it) and I posted some pictures & videos related to Bitcoin on my Instagram Stories (Like that day when the price goes insanely high and keep going til now). Then 2 days ago some of my friends suddenly asked me about what Bitcoin is & how could the price goes up like that. And I was surprisingly glad to know that I've influenced some people to get to know Bitcoin. And then I introduced them to Bitcoin and answer their questions about it, there were 3 people asking about Bitcoin that day just because of this 1 post.

I mean why don't we just use this power of social media to make people aware about this Cryptocurrency, well I know that there are already some people doing this (like those YouTube channels).
But what I'm talking about here is to us to post something about Bitcoin on our social media, you can just at least post something like your first transaction with Bitcoin and share your story on your Facebook or take the picture of your book that you just bought from the internet using your Bitcoin and then post it on your Twitter.

Don't be afraid to share your experience, you won't get hurt by doing it!(at least not now)

I really agree with you, do not be afraid to share the kepan other people, because our sustenance is set respectively. maybe by using social media we are easier to invite anyone to join, but we also must be careful in terms of inviting others, do not let us always bothered by those who are lazy to learn and ask, so we are always overwhelmed in responding.

I would have to agree because social media (Facebook in my case) was how I first go into Bitcoin. Someone posted about it over and over and finally I checked it out and have been hooked ever since.

Bitcoin is in social media now, like facebook, twitter and also instagram. Some campaign use facebook and twitter for their campaign thats why bitcoin is already in social media.

The use of social media in advertising bitcoin is great. It is being done and also done by some campaigns here in the forum.
Soon there will be development in the use of bitcoin through other services which the world will know.  We just need to be careful in explaining about it personally or interpretation articles and other statements about it because nowadays, it is the conflict part. Yes on social media generally used by people from a variety of city, State, type of jobs, not just social media bitcoin, spreader of various business, promotional products, advertising and most people are good people can connect closely although in place far away.

People are already using social sites for the publicity of bitcoins but I haven't seen any ads related to it on my TV. However, I think if a celebrity like Christiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Messi, John Cena, Justin, Angelina etc will say something related to it on their fan pages, something great will happen and obviously it will become news and bitcoins will be on TVs.

social media is not just for Bitcoin, but for a lot of sectors, it has changed a lot now, there was a more materialist approach to advertising, but now advertising is done through social media, and it can not be said to have failed.
