So this is the latest and final update for the day
You guys know how many problems this coin has had in the past
dev after dev takeover after takeover . Reluctant comes no where near
describing how i feel about letting an outside pool mine this coin right now.
POW has been fixed with a small update . anyone who has a wallet will be stuck
at block 699999 . we are aware its fine go ahead and park it there for a moment.
Issues with the wallet include
-pow stopped so chain stopped == fixed (bandaged)
-No unlock for encrypted wallets it does still let
you send coins with a password
-inputs will split to the point of crashing the wallet
no combiner in wallet (manual only)
-no indication of POS weight
-only coins involved in inputs after 700000 can stake
-open ssl 3 years outdated
-peer to peer wallet connection needs fixed
as you can see its not the kind of thing i want to set lose
how are we going to implement fixes
if a pool takes off with chain
this is what id like to do ..
im going to make the mining and wallet available to a few people
as little as 4 as many as 10 just depending . you don't necessarily have
to have script mining gear a cpu will work at this point
goggle hangouts is preferred .linux be it virtual box or
native system is also preferred unless you can build your own
windows or mac build. Its very possible wallets will be updated semi daily for
the time being. I will also be tipping well to the participants Im going to
create a page for applicants .please be at least able to build a wallet
and understand how difficultly works we also don't need someone to
throw unnecessary amounts of hash on it.
according to the code pos blocks should start showing weight in 3 days
although the gui has no indication of that since its not built in ...
