I know difficulty is a problem but if this coin is a fork of mine to it'd be nice if there is merged mining so we can mine both coins at once monero and sumokoin. What do you think?

It's nice to know that the team is still in progress. They are working hard to deal with. I believe the team will do a good job of SUMO.

From the last 2 posts on their blog I suspect this is more because they are afraid Fireice will attack their network. I think they've panicked and switched back to CN to archive bigger network hashrate to prevent 51% attack... Still worst decision ever. They are ruining their coin anyways due to huge drop in exchange rate & volatility.
As you noticed... the coin was under attack. I assume it was a last call to save the project. And frankly... it worked. Of course a lot of people sold in panic. But as usual... panic and fear are bad advisors. The future will tell if the coin manages to recover.... _Was_ under attack or your were suspecting attack based on rumors? Your claim that ASICs provide "protection" and "decentralization" are incorrect. You don't know who stands behind that hashpower. It could be same group who could easily attack the network and fake transactions. The only reason not to withdraw for them now it to wait when exchanges will unfreeze trades and then it ruined. Surely this is only one of the possible worst case scenarios. But still old-CN coins have no future now. It's only a milch cow for ASIC owners while it lasts. No sane person would invest in such coin now. I (!!!) don't claim anything. And yes, the coin _was_under_attack...

No lambo for us it seems yes. that's right , guy. Now SUMO is only a night dream and no one can save this coin from this situation and the collapse is must . I feel regretful to this project and I expect Dev must do something to save this coin.

Hi friends. Does anyone know what will happen with sumo stored on cryptopia during fork? Is cryptopia gonna honor fork or is it gonna stick with sumo without giving investors the same amount of ryo? This is so confusing to me now, since if sumo is going to fail then cryptopia is suppose to stick with ryo , otherwise investors like me will lose thousands of dollars !!! I think Ryo has not even be on cryptopia yet, so confusing and stupid.

Just checked Cryptopia:
"Market Paused
02/06/2018: Cryptopia is very disappointed at the behaviour of the various parties in the SUMO/RYO debate and how they have sprung this on us without notice. We have had zero time to evaluate the situation. To protect all funds of our users, we will be pausing all markets/wallets until the dust settles. We will re-evaluate and decide which chain or chains we will allow users to withdraw on."

Thanks for feedback but we still know nothing. As for me, Cryptopia suppose to honor fork and provide us, investors with the same amount of Ryo as if we were keeping our Sumo in official wallet. Otherwise we gonna lose a lot of money. Ryo is listed on tradeorge now and If I had kept my Sumo in wallet I would have had the same amount of both coins now after fork. And this mean that I would have doubled my savings! This will be unjust if cryptopia stick with only one coin and not both! C'mon Cryptopia, I trusted you keeping my coins at your exchange!

Sumokoin is now controlled by ASIC miners. CPU/GPU miners are leaving. Most ASIC miners are going to immediately sell their Sumokoin for Bitcoin. It will be a little like Electroneum i suppose. The coin price is going to be stuck at a certain price or fall more. When does the rebranding(hardfork?) to Ryo is going to take place? And is it going to be made or not? Is it going to be a new coin?

I do not understand what's going on in this thread, but I see SUMOCOIN tops rank in the 'indodax community coin voting' https://indodax.com/You can check here https://imgur.com/inuaxQb It seems that this is good news because a few days ago STQ was listed there and the price raised 150%

Sorry, but lol. This is like the first rule of crypto-currency trading, never ever let your funds sit on an exchange. That's just asking for trouble. As for the fork in itself, this is worse than kindergarten. Everyone is getting fucked over.

SUMO will not rebrand at the moment as far as I know, because of the team split there was a hard fork on Monday which created another coin - they called them Ryo now - you have the same balance there like you had on Monday in your SUMO wallet.
