The mean reason to buy altcoins is to trade and make big profit , some coins bought at the right moment can give double or triple the benefits of the investment, some even multiply their value by 10 in a few days. Having a much lower value is easier than a sudden rise in price produces a high percentage of profit. For example, a coin that is worth a dollar, if value rises to five dollars multiplies the amount invested by five.

Why do people buy altcoin? Because its the easiest way of gaining more btc. Through altcoin trading, you can double or triple your btc. If you know what you're doing. But its risky. Besides, altcoin are cheaper than btc. Bitcoin are not cheap anymore. That's why people are looking for coin which can be alternative for bitcoin. Also, we can't assure what's the future of bitcoin. Bitcoin is losing its dominace as people are dividing.

Most people want to experience the same experience those early buyers of Bitcoin have.  They think that with altcoins, history repeats itself.  So most people here buy altcoins because of that.  To have profit or if possible to get rich with the coins they are buying.  About the future of altcoins, some may probably have a good future but most of them are just pump and dump coins.

Altcoin was a big help to anyone or any bitcoin community here. Because of the people who are not able to buy bitcoin directly, altcoin can be the open door for us to have bitcoin directly to our wallet once the altcoin increases the value. We can use bitcoin at any moment but to those who are elite people or had a capacity to avail it,..

Only year before , XMR was 100ksat and it wasn't interesting as today. Just look what happened, i believed then that XMR have bright future, as i now believe CloakCoin has. Why I'm investing in it, I'm interested in profit but there is also something attractive in this kind of gamble, if you wait in most cases you can gain profit. When you see accumulation hurry up. When rise starts it is to late, you can be burnt.

It depends, some people buy them as speculation, some buy them because of the features they allready have...
I try to search for coins that have nice potential features (what will they do, when the project is complete) and invest in them. Then i hope others also see them as good, and then the price should increase.

Best returns are in Alts, nobody cannot denied this.
I've been BTC miner (GPUs) and for almost two months i got what i mined in one day using scrypt miner for LTC. This was wake up call for me. Then came Doge, Moon, Black, Dark..Then, one day i started trading, instantly my rig was off. Profit cannot even compare. Now my all concentration is on trading alts and gaining profit from them. With small trades daily you can achieve 10$ in a minutes. Where else this can be achieved?

It is simple, it is through Altcoin you can easily multiple your money, for BTC to do X2 from the present price is bid deal, but very easy to see Altcoin do 2X, 3X in a matter of weeks

Altcoins is good as investment and trading as most of the traders make three times they risk capital in just a month. Though I am new to altcoins market but I do liking them to penny stocks because of the way they price fluctuations and profits or loses are be making from them daily.

I see two reasons for that. First reason, they think bitcoin will volatile. The second thing, they do believe that they desired altcoin will incrase its value wether rapidly or gradually. It's worth it to buy altcoin specially if it's supported by big investors. I see altcoins would be more popular in the market of digital currency yet I don't think it will take over bitcoin.
