New article over on the gambling side, mentioning Wagerr - https://www.oddsmarket.com/tips/more-sports/crypto-and-sports-betting-a-match-made-in-heaven/89708/

"Wagerr is its own blockchain and the currency is called WGR. It has maybe the highest volume out of any of the decentralized betting projects that exist right now."

"You make the bets from the desktop wallet or mobile app and there are very sharp odds offered so it is worth a look."

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Well, the online segment has already begun. With proper marketing, Wagerr will crowd out competitors and take its place

this coin has come thru a lot, but man still waiting on price to move.

It takes a while to get everything in place - when things are being done the right way anyhow.  The initial ~100m in bet volume with a very limited QT wallet was impressive given all of the circumstances, especially compared to other crypto projects.  But we're well aware that we're really going to have to step it up if we want to compete with the larger traditional networks.

Thankfully we have some amazing devs and these first public glimpses of the new wallet has been very positive, this is something that we can really build upon and I'm excited to see what comes of it.

Being able to bet without downloading the wallet is going to be a game changer that can bring wagerr to the masses. HTML5 is cross platform which means even the linux and mac dudes can get in on the action, no-one is left out

It's not HTML5 that matters, it's JavaScript. Whatever. This decision is the right way.

Some more screenshots of the new wallet up on Twitter - https://twitter.com/wagerrx/status/1116094540610330625

The QT wallet was fun and all...but this is the start of the real Wagerr right here.  I'm truly glad so many of us have stayed with it over the past few years, through all of the negativity when many said it wouldn't happen - and then already having nearly 3000 MNs and half of the total supply bet on a very limited wallet  Smiley

Also if you dig around a bit on their twitter, you can get a peek of the new lotto - https://twitter.com/wagerrx/status/1111513447634817026

Possibly even more important than the lotto itself (but maybe a bit overlooked) is that it relies on random numbers generated through consensus.  There's a lot of potential there and I'm really interested in seeing how it evolves in the coming years.

Idiot! There is not a single serious exchange that trades WGR! That's a big issue.

There are some nice updates on the way too Wink

You should really stick to just positively promoting EDG in their thread, instead of these often-vulgar rants here in ours.  Not sure why the mods allow it to continue for so long when you've made so many false accusations and just general FUD here in the not-so-distant past.

With that said, legit concerns are always welcome - as long as it is constructive, at least halfway polite, and doesn't devolve into trolling.  It's not like these are some hugely unfair and unnecessary requirements either, it's just common sense and common courtesy.

There are polite ways of asking the same question. People are wondering if it will get listed on a tier 1 exchange or any more mid level exchanges. This will help the trading volume and as a result a better CMC ranking - which equals more investors

Of course, there's certainly been effort put into it and will continue to do so but at the end of the day the final decision is ultimately up to each specific exchange - and rightfully so.  Specific listings and such can't be discussed anyway, so for the most part it's best to focus on things on which we actually have a reasonable amount of control over.  On the tech side we're ranked #2 on MNP (second only to Dash), and on the betting side we did ~100m WGR in betting volume on a very limited wallet.  We're working hard to continue this growth, it's really just a matter of time at this point...the new wallet will make this much clear I hope.

All of those who ask about exchanges here also should try to make themselves heard to exchanges that they would like personally, often they will outright ask users directly like this one from just a few hours ago - https://twitter.com/Binance_DEX/status/1119316300650532865

Binance would be great! BTW, how is the JS version of the wallet coming along? Will it be available by the end of the month?
Nice catch with the Lotto game Wagerr team, good job!

Tippy summed it up really well in his reply when asked in the main Telegram channel earlier today - "Small scale focused testing on odds and events feed. You can see the events here https://explorer2.wagerr.com/#/betevents

Ensuring this is working correctly is not about getting betting back as soon as possible, it's about laying the groundwork for the type of functioning that allows easier transition to consensus Oracle data down the line."

Couldn't have said it better myself.  As with the QT wallet, extra time spent here should end up being well worth it.
