You can only say opportunity loss when you sold your Bitcoin without gaining profit. There is always an opportunity when selling or buying Bitcoin, you only have to check the price by that you'll know when to buy and sell to gain profit.
Yup, you say right! I not know why reason many people don't sell when highest price and after the price fall down, they sell it although not take loss, but they say that  is make they loss more Huh Just because of their greed, they blame market =))

Indeed, greed is the first factor that makes people drown in the losses. They think that price will go up and up again, but suddenly when they start seeing price drop they do a panic sell leading to complete loss of the money. It is such a logical thing that if you have 10% incriminate order then that is also your profit. There should be complete personal understanding about the market and how to grab your profits.

Not correct at all, All depends on the circumstances if the price is rising then selling bitcoin = opportunity of loss wut when the price is down it is a smart move because you can get more bitcoin by buying back at a lower price. that's why many people said not easy to get profit in bitcoin because we need to have good knowledge in trade.

I understand that, it's their fault, they are too greedy to make a lot of money, but then they do not believe in bitcoin anymore, and they are willing to sell it when it's low in value. I call them weak.

Those kind of people don't study bitcoin because they don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin to hold when they see some negative thoughts then their knowledge is enough to make them don't believe to that negative thoughts or make that person get enlighten so its negative beliefs about bitcoin will be gone and make that negative person turn into a bitcoin believer.

I do not think anyone will know which is the best chance or opportunity they have. Everyone is just predicting, it is possible now is the right time to sell because the price will go down Or at this time is not right because the price will soon rise. Everyone does not know that.

Many posts discuss the possibility of exchange earnings with selling Bitcoin (and buy later). Other posts discuss the Bitcoin exchange rate, it seems that many agree there is a strong upward tendency and the volatility is hard to predict. It seems dat selling Bitcoin results in a serious probability of an opportunity loss. Selling Bitcoin can only be motivated by an (partial) exit. Do you agree?
Bitcoin is volatile in nature. It may increase or decrease as per the variations in demand. But we can clearly see that bitcoin is getting legalized in some countries.Mass adoption of bitcoin is taking place all over the world.Since transaction fee is once again getting reduced, more people would once again show interest in using bitcoins. So,bitcoin price would increase more.It may even cross $3000 within two months. So,selling bitcoin at this time would be an opportunity loss.

Today again we see the price is more than $ 2600. It pleases. For me it is a signal that the panic about the problems associated with the August 1 cease painlessly and we go through this period. Bitcoin proves its viability.

I think this thing is not predictable.because every opportunity is depend on the subject itself.therefore nobody can say that selling bitcoin today is lossing an opportunity.i guess theres a lot of option should be handle in this  case.we really dont know what would happen to the bitcoin price in the next 3 months from now.
That is why everybody cant say that selling it is lossing an opportunity.

I think better is to take profit when you need money or you want to buy smth. Trading/Investing is the way to satisfy your needs, not to just make more money

Well it's really regretful when you're already in that moment, yes we will be happy if we already bought something we need and want , but if we see after we purchased or cash out that amount maybe few days after btc suddenly pump then it might get your savings if ever still saved x3 then it's a big loss. Better if not really need why not save it in the meantime then wait for pump and spend not too much but still enjoy life.

That is true, Selling bitcoin in all in mode is a great mode if you will not buy back because it is okay as long you sell then buy back in the low price but if you will just forget the bitcoin after selling it maybe the biggest regret in your life because the price of the bitcoin is pumping as time pass by.

Every price movement that is happening is an opportunity loss, if the price is rising you are losing opportunity by not buying, if the price is falling, you are losing opportunity by not selling. If we take some theoretical "perfect trader" who sells at every bump and buys at every bottom, he would generate some crazy profits. But this is impossible, and even generating some profit from trading can be quite hard, so many people decide to invest for a long term, in which case selling has a higher chance of turn out to be an opportunity loss, because of the growth potential of Bitcoin. So, it's most likely a long term opportunity loss, but may be profitable in short term if you buy back at lower price.

One way to avoid that, is to not sell all your stash, for example you could hold half of your stash, and the other half is used to try to time the market and get the most profits that you can with bitcoin, that way you get the best of both worlds, in the case of a huge pump you are not left out, and in the case you can make profits trading you are getting some with the half of your stash you use to trade.

I see many topics like this and even most of you saying that sell when it reaches $3000 , etc etc. Let's just clear this what I'm going to say is only when selling bitcoin will give you a profit and not a loss.
Let's say you bought at 1 btc at $1000 and if you sell it now you will get 150% return. But many are going to say not to sell as it is going to be regret in future. Well in paat at $1000 people told same thing wait when it reach $2000 and then sell. So as thw price is increasing  people keep telling to themselves that when it reaches 3500 i will and then 4000 and never really sell it. You are surely getting profit but this is pure greed. If you need the cash for something important or what to start a business which is more profitable than bitcoin sell it for profit only. If the reason for selling is just because price increased then don't do it.

Inversely, there are benefits to holding fiat instead of crypto. You can't buy a car with crypto-currency, you would have to sell it first, deposit the cash, and use a check to purchase. Let's keep going, and say you use that car you purchased with bitcoin to go to a job. Even if you spent 5-10 bitcoin at the current price on the car, you could make back double that with a decent job in a year.

It's smart to go with whatever income stream has the most potential. It isn't always bitcoin.

You can buy a car with crypto: http://spendbitcoins.com/places/c/car-dealers/

Also, maybe I didn't get your point, but neither fiat nor bitcoin generate income.

You should check that with your mind bubble. You may wanna see it yourself that your bitcoin that you have currently were bought at what price? If you think they are profitable against the current price of the market then you can just sell them off to get maximal profit. Moreover, it is not likely that price of the bitcoin will keep rising just know that anything greater than your investment is profit to you. So be aware of the greed to have bitcoin price more Tham 50 thousand dollar or something.

Selling coins can be a loss of opportunity to earn a lot of money, but when money is urgently needed, you can sell a small part. You can save all your life, but you also need to allow yourself to live a little.

I agree with everything that you said. Holding bitcoin so far has been proven to be, maybe even best option. Because you earn money by doing nothing, and that is best part of bitcoin if you ask me. Also you can trade small part, or sell it for fiat currency to buy some luxury in life, like i do. And you could not be more correct when you said that people can save all life, but what is important is life.
