Any scrypt coin including LTC & CHN is resistant for now. Some people are trying hard to develop ASICs for them though. But we have some time at least...

Scrypt miners will eventually come out however cant comment on who will be releasing them but I know of a number of company's looking to bring this tech out. SO it will be a race to the market who brings one first. Its not BFL or Avalon before you ask

Some of these new coin pools are having so many issues, that I almost think solo is better for CHN. I did hit a block overnight ahead of the calculated average. :-D

Well I took a look at at a pool, it seemed to be doing 33 out of 120 blocks lets call it a quarter of the blocks, each block taking 2 hours and 6 minutes, lets call it 2 hours... 2 divided by 4 equals 1/2 an hour.. Now the block chain retargets every 5040 blocks, and its at 57724 so the next retarget is at 60480, or in 2756 blocks.. 2576 X .5 = 1328 hours, /24 gives us 57.41 days. 1000 m/h gives us about 42 coins X 0.00096 BTC (current exchange rate) gives us .04032 BTC per day so I doubt the hashrate will increase, in fact it may decrease giving us longer per block so I guess the answer is.. At least 2 months possibly 4 months or longer... No wonder the network stats are no longer made public...

P2Pool is not a good choice if you can't have low latencies (by installing a p2pool node locally for example). What's surprising is that apparently the NVIDIA card doesn't produce as much stales. I'm not familiar with GUIMiner but I see intensity set to 18, if it's the value for the AMD card you may want to lower it to 17 or 16 and see if you are more efficient (compare the accepted shares on at least an hour with 18 and 17 for example and keep lowering it until they stop increasing).

I would think I have low latency, but not sure how to measure for p2pool. It appears my nvidia gtx 560 is getting more shares accepted than my 7700. If I had more time I'd be able to figure it out, but here's my ss after 14 hrs of both. I'll see how well it works backing the intensity down a bit/

not less than 56 days at the current rate. FTC people changed the client to solve the very same issue. I guess if anyone will do the same with CNC...

network hash rate, as I said, will allow diff change in 60+ days.
The only way I see is to do what FTC team did: hard fork, advertise it everywhere.
But: where is the dev team here?
