Is there a non p2p pool? I don't want to read through 60 pages to find one.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Is some one able to view this screenshot and tell me if this looks correct in CGMiner 3.0?
I dont see any shares being submitted, (whereas when solo mining terracoin or bitcoin I can see "best share: 2.56m" - when mining any scrypt based coins, it just shows "0").

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you could PM me that would be awesome as this thread is moving fairly quickly.

my BAT file to run CGminer :

color 06
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
cgminer --scrypt -o  127.0.0.1:8775 -u username -p password --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256

my conf file :

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=8775
server=1

EDIT : Forgot to attach screen shot

This says solo on 8106:  http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=chncoin

Can anyone confirm this post  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192115.msg1997212#msg1997212 and this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192768.0 that the CNC client has a bug in it so that it churns out 1 block every 1 SECOND ! That explains a lot of the chaos.  Roll Eyes

I think they must be guessing this rather than seeing it in the code. Now the difficulty has jumped to 4 the blocks have slowed down considerably, block explorer is down, but looks like around 15-30 seconds. This couldn't happen if the code said 1 second, unless a whole bunch of hashing power up and left the network

I have about 1.2M hashrate.  Is it still good to solo or is it better to join a pool?
i am running pushpool for myself and with 1.2Mhash i am able to find two blocks in every hour, so if you have internet with low latency, solo should still working

Where did you find the  library for the damon? I was having a hard time getting it running in Linux.

i compiled daemon from sources:

git clone https://github.com/CHNCoin/CHNCoin.git
cd CHNCoin/src/
make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=
./chncoind Smiley

Now I get this error when trying to compile the source.

Code:
/CHNCoin/src# make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=
/bin/sh ../share/genbuild.sh obj/build.h
../share/genbuild.sh: line 33: obj/build.h: No such file or directory
../share/genbuild.sh: line 34: obj/build.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [obj/build.h] Error 1

ehm, you need just make directory obj (sorry, i already forgot this)
mkdir obj
make -f makefile.unix -USE_UPNP=

Won't get anything at 1 khash, lol.  Think you mean 1 mhash(1000 k/h)?

If so, than it's your pool that is the problem.

Er, Mhash yes Smiley

I am actually getting a pretty decent trickle of CNC from the p2pool I was on, well see what I got.
