Bitcoin won't die, before this happen an improvement will be chosen to be implemented. The question is if it will have a hard fork or not. I personalyl don't like the idea, I think it's very bad for the Bitcoin unity that was built along the years, but the transaction fees can't continue increasing like now and the delay can't continue. All we can do is to wait and see what happens...
I do not get the point of some people who think that bitcoin will actually die. Because as we look on the development and the wider change of bitcoin for now there is now reason for people to doubt it. Bitcoin is just developing and its future is further ahead. And I think it will not stop because the changes in inevitable and the development is yet to discover for bitcoin. So the best way to do is to help and support bitcoin for more development and invest and do things to earn more bitcoin as its price is pumping.

I think its not going to die because of a problem like that. Each day there are so many people joining on Bitcoin that means there are problems that can occur but it will be solved, just wait. As long as people using Bitcoin it will not die soon.

I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.

Won't die but this is definitely an inconvenience. Had 2 transactions yesterday which confirmed after 9-10 hours. Even had a fee of 0.002 BTC for a transaction of around 0.4 btc, and still took too much time. I don't send a lot of money but cases like these happen in a short sample size for me. Not sure if this happen with other people too.
May 18, 2017 (mark it) for your transaction, 0.002 is a high fee but is it enough for 0.4 btc?
Transactions stuck for days only happen if bitcoin start to rise and rally to the new ATH, followed by bunch of unconfirmed transaction as well, it's around 200K unconfirmed at that day.

But don't worry, bitcoin won't die because if this matte, as unconfirmed transaction has declined and seems persist at 80K. If you want to move your bitcoin, better do it now. We need a solution to be implemented as soon as possible, hopefully this year they could ended this prolonged problem.

This is a normal situation on now adays since there are many spammers in the blockchain network causing blockchain to confirm transactions slower than what is it before even if you raise the fees

No I don't think that bitcoin will ever die as its still in its younger stage and still it has managed to achieve this high price so just imagine where it will land in future when the demand of bitcoin will go higher so there is no scope that bitcoin will die ever in future.

This is just a temporary setback until such time that the consensus on the solution of the scaling problem can be implemented. They already have the consensus and we have to wait for the specific date of its global implementation. For now, we have to be using our great patience in transferring Bitcoin and in paying the astronomical charges.

Bitcoin will not die and can go for many years from now unless we can find another coin which can be accepted by many and the use of Bitcoin can subside...but then Bitcoin even in that scenario can still be there.

Of course not. As the fast development of e-currency, they will become stronger, and Bitcoin is the first e-currency, the strongest one now so it's not easy to be beat

Same as human beings have a continuity through the generations bitcoin too will be used continuously by the upcoming future generations. So I hope bitcoin will not die, as there is no perfect reason to make it go worse and get vanished.

It will never ever die soon. The price itself will tell on how strong bitcoin is. If you are aware and conscious with the price.

And as long as the market cap for bitcoin is big, many will enter to invest in bitcoin that will create another price increase.

Because of it's decentralization it will also make bitcoin to become more popular.

Bitcoin nowadays is growing rapidly so i cannot tell that this will die soon based on what is its standing at the present.I honestly believe bitcoin will continue to conquer the universe for the coming months and years.
Bitcoin is a working progress that is being acknowledge by many everyday. I know that in the past few days or months it has been facing such problems about late confirmations or somewhat lag problems but as it is being used and known to many now I know the people who is behind bitcoin will do think and make a way to fix the problem.

Bitcoin doesn't really innovate but its a cool concept, it could have easily died in its early days like many other cool concepts but its become mainstream enough and has enough of a cult following to keep it alive forever. It could die in the sense that it becomes much less valuable and used by much fewer people but it will always be around.

Maybe it's just too many person are transacting so that there are so many delays. Just like in the roads, if the traffic is heavy, all of us couldn't go to the places that we want to go.

Chances of bitcoin dying now is really low. A day might become where bitcoin won't be very much popular like it is right now, but won't die. Just less people using it than usual. The transaction fee is actually currently an issue for lower amount of bitcoin transaction, but seems like it isn't affecting the price/coin yet. Lets just hope for a fix.

That is what we need to maintain in order to make bitcoin strong and even stronger for the next months and years is to maintain its market capitalization and also the number of users and if possible promote bitcoin to the places that bitcoin is not yet popular so we can have a brighter future for bitcoin and also for our selves.

Totally agree.  How will it die if it was almost valued same to oil, gold, and copper.  It is considered as a currency now considering its value that is so high.  It will only die if people will stop using it but it was very impossible for me.  It could die but not that soon.  Let us earn first and make use of its capacities before it dies.    Well that doesn't mean that bitcoin is dead when 1 day just passed and no confirmation yet, you just gotta be patient all things takes time especially when you are mining and stuffs. Just don't lose patience because in this business you need patience and if you don't have that then your not fit in this cryptocurrency. I do think that in this business patience is the key. Bitcoin will not die especially just because of that you need to think more and as you see today the bitcoin price is keeps increasing over time. The First time that I invest on bitcoin, the price was 1K and now it's 2k. Bitcoin will never die especially many other coins are investing through bitcoin.
