There's only one reason why BAT is so expensive right now; whales manipulate the market.
If we had 5,000 ICO participants, there would be more BAT on the "sell" side of Bittrex.
Imagine: 1,500,000,000 BAT tokens and only 41,000,000 on Bittrex? ... wait until the dumping starts...
I really do not feel amazed with the rise of BAT,from the moment it hit the ICO market where no one had a chance to enter and now after hitting the exchange the price is crazy,i would like to see people dumping the coin and then i will make up my mind whether to enter the coin or not as the current price is just bonkers to enter.
I think this will be the future. Once an ICO will be start and the whales will see a huge market, the normal guy will have no chance to participate in an ICO. We just have to wait until the day when the coin is listed on an exchange.  Sad

Hi All,

I look everywhere, but I did not found how to store locally BAT coins.
Is there any kind of wallet holding them ?

I read I should use myetherwallet.com, but I would prefer a local wallet.

Best would be Jaxx to add this ICO.

Thank you.

BAT's policy is very interesting. COIN sold out in minutes, wish i had some in it. Its on ETH based. They briefed detail in their whitepaper.
The guy behind BAT is Brendan Eich, the creator of JavaScript and the co-founder of Mozilla and Firefox, with a solid team – funded by Founders Fund, Foundation Capital, Propel Venture Partners, Pantera Capital, DCG, Danhua Capital, Huiyin Blockchain Venture among others.
To be honest ...woow.

I missed on BAT ICO as well. And now the only option is to add them to my portfolio from exchanges. Yup, it is awesome to see the track record and experience of team supporting BAT. The question is who well this token will do in the coming years and the wealth it will make for its bag holders...

Isn't it a bit expensive to buy from market right now. Do you think will it worth? After Bittrex listed BAT it was doubled.

Says it all here. Bat is smoke and mirrors at the moment. The distribution sucked. 1.45 BILLION waiting to be dumped, rinse, repeat.

Can you give me some help ?

Yes. And then you have to watch the token in Mist, so BAT will "show up":

Contract Address: 0x0D8775F648430679A709E98d2b0Cb6250d2887EF
Token symbol: BAT
Decimals: 18

I bet everyone in this forum missed the BAT ICO because it was over in seconds and how on earth is it possible to collect $36 million in seconds other than in the crypto currency world. Cheesy With the team behind the project it is no doubt it will perform really well .

I would advise you to save your coins with myetherwallet.com as you have complete control over your asset and you have the private key,i am yet to use a jaxx wallet but if you have control over your private key with jaxx then you are good to go,if not select myetherwallet.

Send BAT to the wallet address in your Ethereum Wallet. In order to "see" the token in your account, you have to watch it:

Under "Contracts" click "Add token" at the bottom. Paste the Contract Address and click "ok".

Now BAT should be visible in the account you sent them to.

Thank you, it works.
If I understand well, it consume Ethers of the contract to send. So, if you want to send ICO, you will need a minimum of Ethers, right ?

I suppose, this is working for all ETH Icos ? Is there a list of all the ICOs address ? Because for example the BAT address 0x0D8775F648430679A709E98d2b0Cb6250d2887EF is not so easy to find.

Thanks again, I manage to receive & send.
