Sr. Member Nelka4 banned! wants to run a Free Escrow Service without even having any untrusted feedback. What triggered my suspicion, is that he says "Who will pay escrow fee (buyer or seller).". That doesn't make sense for a free service, and indeed, it's plagiarism. Please end his posting career. Copy ( archived): My Pledge To You
I will serve as a neutral, third party in all transactions. I will respond to all messages within 24 hours and will release all escrow payments within 24 hours of being approved. All transactions will be segregated in their own wallet, with unique addresses used for each transaction for clear tracking of funds by both parties. Since they are difficult to predict, bull markets can typically only be recognized once they’ve happened. Well that said it does not apply in the Crypto market as the crypto market is very volatile but the bull run is said when the market is on the rise for more than a month and at a overall rise in market of minimum 50% (percent can be argued to even higher degree). But as seen in past the Bull run went upto 300% to 1000%, so the upper limit is out of the discussion for time being.

Is copy pasting trust comments and posting them considered plagiarism? Got one trust abuser to report for that, if it is forbidden as he has copied some of my sent trust comments, and posted them as negative on my trust.

was this one found ? I quoted me quoting him MY problem is to be sure is I do not know where I read his stuff that he wrote but I know I just read it somewhere An integrated power supply is a TERRIBLE idea, I hope that they reconsider.
:)When we set out with the goal to bring a new generation of Bitcoin miner to market, we wanted to push the envelope and innovate in a way that would stimulate further competition. :)Making BTC miners however, is surprisingly difficult because they they need to achieve extreme conditions. We chose the route of developing a 10nm chip because it was the newest technology available at the time with promising advantages. However, after 14nm the physics change and introduce harder engineering challenges due to the small scale. :)One of the common misconceptions is that the smaller the nm size, the greater efficiency one will gain. In reality, gains are tempered by losses in other areas due to the new physics. this looks like you plagiarized someone. in order too get money for a signature campaign I know I read those exact words somewhere in the last 10 days. I bolded what I think he did Cryptodetails maybe someone else can find those sentences Edit I found them here https://halongmining.com/blog/category/news/When we set out with the goal to bring a new generation of Bitcoin miner to market, we wanted to push the envelope and innovate in a way that would stimulate further competition. Bill gator's sMerit Post-Review thread got moved to Off-topic, and was instantly attacked by spambots. ... To be thorough, I've checked all 10 posts. They're copied from earlier posts within the same thread. ...
You've made me curious about the Off topic section, I haven't read it a long time ago. So I've started to check one of the above mentioned bots' posts and started to read a random thread.... It's horrible... On the first page I have checked, I've found several bots, copying the last post, and they don't care about duplicating a post in a thread... You can check this user, if you want https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1736281 and this is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1327160.msg31917615#msg31917615 one example where it copies the last post without any effort to hide that it's copypasting.... I don't know if the Off topic worth the effort to start to dig it up (the topics and the users), I hope that the merit system will slowly make them understand that it's not the quantity but the quality which will make them rank up on the long run... While I was posting this, DarkStar_ hit them all with red trust. Please nuke'm anyway Does it make any difference if these account are tagged? Does any of them care about the red trust? Does the bounty campaign care about red trust? I'm not really sure that this worth the effort... I think what they really care is deleting their posts (activity decrease) or ban...

I saw the thread and I was like whoo....The heck is that? This actually made Bill lock his thread.

It doesn't make a difference, they aren't here to trade, they are here for bounties. The bounty managers mostly don't do anything about is what the main cause is. This has been discussed so many times and yet bounty mangers are reluctant to do their own work. Thanks to rickbig41 and other mods, they get nuked soon enough.
I was thinking of setting a trap in Off-topic: "Post here to be banned" Do it. Seriously. Bots aren't that smart yet. Take advantage of them before they wipe out the human race.

user: jujubax https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1939058copeypasted my post: seems right now even "mining" cards are 95% stock video cards, just with no display connectors. everything else is the same except maybe the bios.
i wonder how far a REAL mining card could be stripped down if it didnt need to conform to the pcie spec physically and electrically. only needs a 1x pcie connector, a few pcie power connectors, a GPU, memory and few glue chips and thats it. so it could be much less expensive, fit into smaller (non standard mining only) cases, reach higher rates (tweaked memory and timings and controllers, say 512 bits wide or something [if that can be done i gather memory bus is baked into the gpu, but maybe bank switching or something can be done]). twice the compute power in half the space. would be sweet.
just need someone to step up and order bare gpu dies and go to town.

So that we shouldn't be worried about this price trend. It's a simple case for the decentralized system. No one is controlling in this platform but only holders are playing the vital role of this crypto world.

user: tedmorning banned!posted ( archive ) Your choice of cryptocurrency wallet depends on the type of cryptocurrency you’re planning to stow away. There are four different kinds of wallets to store virtual currencies in general:
(1) Exchange Wallet:
A wallet that’s part of an exchange where you can buy cryptocurrency from. Usually the wallet is linked to a bank account which can be used to transfer Fiat money to and from the wallet. You can buy and store virtual currency on an exchange such as, Coinbase/GDAX, Bittrex, Bitfinex, Poloniex, Bitstamp, Binance and so on. Exchange wallets are not considered safe for long term use since they can be prone to hackers and brute force attacks. Each year, 15% of Bitcoin and Ethereum is stolen from exchanges and wallets leading to millions of dollars in losses. One can store cryptocurrency in the form of USD, ETH, BTC and LTC on Coinbase. There are other altcoin exchanges too which can be used to buy cryptocurrencies using bitcoin as a form of interconvertible fiat. Each of these could also be backed up to a storage vault (such as that on coinbase) with extra security measures such as email/SMS confirmation or 2FA (two factor authentication) using a google Authy app.
(2) Hardware Wallet:
There are many types of hardware devices (with a display or touchscreen component and small keypad) that serves as a hardware to store your digital assets. Two of the most popular wallets are the Ledger Nano S and a Trezor. There are other companies that sell hardware wallets but the aforementioned ones are the most common ones. Always have a backup of keys (or seeds, or word phrases) to restore your wallet in case of emergency or loss of the device. Always buy your wallet from a trusted source, such as the official Ledger website, never a second hand one from Amazon or EBay. Sometimes, these redistributed wallets can be hacked and broken into, some of these are sold with altered chipsets, hence always make sure you buy from a trusted source. Hardware wallets are considered the safest of the lot, since they can’t be hacked easily. They can also be configured with a passcode and paraphrase. Three failed attempts at entering the passcode and the contents of the wallet is wiped clean. Usually many different types of currencies can be backed up on a given hardware wallet.
(3) Software Wallet:
Each cryptocurrency has its own desktop version of a wallet which can be used to store currency. Staking is offered which means, you get a % return on investment to store your funds on a desktop wallet for a given time interval. This service is being offered by many new emerging currencies and ICO’s (initial coin offerings) in an effort to encourage long term holders of these coins. Software wallets can also be installed on phones. They are not very secure and have shown to be prone to hacks but they can be used easily especially if you’re used to storing funds on your phone, on the go.
(4) Paper Wallets:
There are many paper wallet generator websites that provide a public and private key for a certain type of crypto currency. These keys are usually a random assortment of letters and numbers in the form of a string. The public key serves as the wallet address. The private key is linked to the public address and should never be revealed unless you’re trying to withdraw funds from the wallet. The paper wallet should be stored in a safe olace, away from prying eyes and multiple copies should be made in case of loss, or circumstances such as a fire or flood. If the keys are lost, the funds are also lost forever: A paper wallet is the cheapest form of securely storing cryptocurrency. One such website to generate an Ethereum-based paper wallet (which supports ERC 20 and ERC 23 using smart contracts) is MyEtherWallet.com. The paper wallet can be stored as a JSON file or a PDF containing unencrypted public and private keys.
I recommend using a combination of at least two types of wallets to store cryptocurrency. The safest bet is a hardware wallet in addition to a paper wallet which can contain a paper backup of keys and necessary codes.
