Jr. Member David Way banned! is polluting the Bitcoin Technical Support board with off-topic plagiarism about ethereum. Please end his posting privileges.

Copy (archived):
You need to be in Ubuntu: I ran a virtual machine in oracle virtualbox

if you need help doing that follow tutorial(https://linus.nci.nih.gov/bdge/installUbuntu.html)

i used this version of ubuntu (ubuntu-16.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso)

Once you are successfully in Ubuntu (probably works with other linux distributions but this is what i tested) follow these steps

go to documents and create a folder named "bruteforce"

follow this link https://gist.github.com/tayvano/7755e3e8d8b64581d5ff2865087b93f8
(the post is much longer than this)

Newbie Now Jr. Member novak hiel not banned yet! made the mistake of posting plagiarism in a topic that I follow. And without context it makes no sense 6 to post it again after 6 years. Please nuke his account, that also removes some of his bounty applications.

In the same thread, Jr. Member AnnSerg77 banned! deserves a ban too.

I finally decided to download this simply program so that I would no longer impose upon Rassah to create my vanity addresses. I read the OP and understood it perfectly until I got to GitHub. At this point all bets were off. I continued to read this thread and finally came to the conclusion that if this is easy, I've yet to realize it.

Byteball will grow like a snow ball. It is very hard or difficult not do anything about it. I can have a new job if I want, just teaching five people everyday  about byteball I will get 100 dollars, this other five people will do the same... and so on...Byteball can pass bitcoin very easy.  And because of the lack of exchages for byteball, it has the potential for people to people exchage...I think it cannot get any better than this...Tony and your team deserve a lot respect...

Very exciting collection! Thank You for the idea. You could keep the thread continually updated so that I will not have to go through a monolithic wall of posts to get the best ones. I can hardly wait the sight of an address that is a full sentence. Has anyone created an address like that? I do not care if it is vanity or similar.

Bitcoin is heavily dependent on this mining process. Due to the mining carried out by miners Bitcoin will validate every transaction, build and store the new block into blockchain. To save the new blocks into the Blockchain, miners must reach consensus.

life in the Bitcoin Mine project that aims to create a transparent cloud mining and how to see the Bitcoin industry move forward. Bitcoin mining has become one of the world's most difficult and competitive industries. From the market price correction after Mt. GOX exploded, the laws of hypocritical national regulations and the reaction of banking lobbyists, the struggle to own the latest and greatest ASIC mining rig technology and beyond. Not just Genesis Mining, one of the largest Bitcoin companies in the world.

User azguard2(banned) Plagiarized in my own thread :
When a new transaction is signed, it is broadcasted on the Bitcoin network. It will then be collected and recorded in a block. Each block, once constituted, will in turn be broadcasted.
All these messages are public and verifiable.
They make it possible to notify and therefore take to witness all the participants of the Bitcoin network on any new information that enriches the blockchain.
Messages are transferred over the network in a binary format, encoding numbers on 32 bits or 256 bits using the Little-Endian convention.
The Little-Endian convention sets the bytes from the lowest weight to the strongest weight, the Big-Endian convention sets the bytes from the strongest weight to the lowest weight.

For example the number 1 is represented in hexadecimal on 32 bits by 00000001 with the Big-Endian convention and 01000000 with the Little-Endian convention.

The number 1 on 32 bits with the Big-Endian convention:
 Byte 3 |  Byte 2 |  Byte 1 |  Byte 0
--------+---------+---------+--------
     00 |     00  |     00  |      01

The number 1 on 32 bits with the Little-Endian convention:
 Byte 0 |  Byte 1 |  Byte 2 |  Byte 3
--------+---------+---------+--------
     01 |      00 |      00 |      00
God damn you. Do you have to copy paste this without siting a reference? I ran this through plagiarism checker and 97.5% is Plagiarized:

Bitcoin is nothing more than a mobile app or a computer program that provides a Bitcoin wallet and allows users to send and receive bitcoins. This is how Bitcoin works for most users.

Behind the scenes, the Bitcoin network shares a public record called "chain-block". This record contains all transactions ever processed, enabling the user's computer to verify the validity of each transaction. The authenticity of each transaction is protected by digital signatures related to the sender's address, allowing all users to have full control over the bitcoin delivery from their Bitcoin address.
In addition, anyone can process transactions using special hardware counting power and get a gift in bitcoin for this service. This activity is often referred to as "mining".

What is a custodial service?

A custodial service is when an entity or individual holds a client’s property or money on their behalf.  The custodian is responsible for the safety of the financial products. If you are a custodial client, you are still the beneficial owner of the financial products but are held on your behalf by the custodian.

And
I think Bitcoin should be Custodial Services needed...

At ASB Securities, the registered owner of the financial products can be ASB Nominees Limited, ASB Securities or the nominated offshore custodian who holds them in custody on your behalf. You are always listed as the beneficial owner.

Cryptocurrency is a form of digital money that is designed to be secure and, in many cases, anonymous.

It is a currency associated with the internet that uses cryptography, the process of converting legible information into an almost uncrackable code, to track purchases and transfers.

Cryptography was born out of the need for secure communication in the Second World War. It has evolved in the digital era with elements of mathematical theory and computer science to become a way to secure communications, information and money online.

When you see a post that looks out of place, written in very good English like a news report or for whatever reason if you think it likely came from somewhere else just do a Google search for a section of the text using "" to make it a precise match.

copeypasted my post:

seems right now even "mining" cards are 95% stock video cards, just with no display connectors. everything else is the same except maybe the bios.

i wonder how far a REAL mining card could be stripped down if it didnt need to conform to the pcie spec physically and electrically.  only needs a 1x pcie connector, a few pcie power connectors, a GPU, memory and few glue chips and thats it. so it could be much less expensive, fit into smaller (non standard mining only) cases, reach higher rates (tweaked memory and timings and controllers, say 512 bits wide or something [if that can be done i gather memory bus is baked into the gpu, but maybe bank switching or something can be done]). twice the compute power in half the space. would be sweet.

just need someone to step up and order bare gpu dies and go to town.

from mine, i replied to him here:

the services such as Coinbase offer some services that people want. for example the ability to buy and sell bitcoin with fiat from many different countries, or trading in their other website (GDAX). it is also an easy to use wallet for newbies to possibly start things and learn first before moving on to a desktop wallet.
there is also the services they are offering merchants  as a payment processor (similar to BitPay) where a merchant can ask their customer to go through Coinbase and make the payment there and Coinbase then pays the merchant in bitcoin or  fiat automatically.

All moderators can nuke Newbies, it deletes all their posts and bans the account.
Only the more powerful moderators can ban higher ranks, and their posts won't be deleted.

The Singapore company Tangem released bitcoin-bills, which the developers themselves call "smart banknotes."  However, they are not made of paper - in fact it is hardware cold wallets with an integrated S3D350A chip from Samsung.  At the same time, the novelty has common features with traditional banknotes.  So, each bitcoin-bill represents a certain fixed denomination in BTC and can be transferred physically for payment.  In the company itself Tangem development is called "uncoolable cold wallet."

Copypaste:
a condition in which more than half the computing power in a cryptocurrency network is controlled by a single group of miners. With the computing power possessed by the group in theory will enable them to become an authority within the network. This means that every client in the network will trust the transaction block that is the result of the group hash process (attacker). This condition will give the group control over the network, including the ability to:

-Transaction issues conflict with the property of others.
-Stopping other people's transactions can not be confirmed.
-Spend the same coins repeatedly.
-Prevent other miners from mining legitimate blocks.
