It seems that japan is loving bitcoin and they are all having a good income with bitcoin and they are starting to fully implement bitcoin to their country and their airlines already accepting bitcoin. I hope that other countries will do the same just like Japan so they can also get the advantage of bitcoin and they can all boost their earnings because of the rapid growth of bitcoin.

Out of curiosity, how about the confirmation which needs to arrive? Is it just accepting zero-confirmation just like some bitcoin payment gateway do?. The average confirmation needs about 15 minutes to arrive and probably some people still have some time to wait for it until the plane's landing, but, how if the fee is just not enough and the transaction get stuck?.

3 practical issues i see 1. budget airlines = people not wanting to spend too much = why would they agree to a $1+ fee and wait ~10minutes-48 hours 2. many credit cards these days (if you avoid the normal domestic (country locked) ones do not charge much 2. many credit cards these days (if you avoid the normal domestic (country locked) ones do not take ~10mins-48 hours to accept payment. its just swipe and go in seconds segwit will not fix spam segwit will not fix confirm delays locking funds into an LN is like locking funds into a contract with a second party (research multisig) you might aswell just use credit cards, bcause of all the cludgy crap core have done to push people into thinking LN is the utopian savour by removing all the benefits bitcoins mainnet had over fiat/cards

Very good news, counts more companies adopt bitcoin the greater will be its value, that is that it does not need to transform bitcoin into Fiat

Yep, it doesn't matter how insignificant it may seem, every time the numbers of companies accepting bitcoin goes up it's just a start on the way to what we crave - mainstream adoption.

At this point of time that method of payment using bitcoin was not yet launched. They are still on the process of making it successfully integrating it in their system. The post that I made was just an initial announcement but let us wait for the official launching of bitcoin into their system since they will announce it to the world. Just stay tune to the articles coming from Japan.

It seems the good news don’t seem to stop, I hope this becomes a trend and that all the airlines around the world begin to accept bitcoin that way we will be able to travel the world without using anything other than our bitcoin, I think this is going to be the future.

That's very interesting news since only few companies or establishments are accepting bitcoin as way of payment. Japan really treat bitcoin as a currency. Hope to see a many countries do the same. No wonder Japan will be the biggest bitcoin user in the world. Japan will take place of China because of massive adoption of Japan.

Japan seems to be at the forefront of mainstream adoption. Too bad the US blew the chance to lead the space.

Japan has legalized and regulated Bitcoin. So most of the Bitcoin-related firms, such as exchanges and gambling sites will move their operations to Japan. That nation will gain, in terms of increased tax revenue and new job creation. Unfortunately, the United States had a good chance to do all these, but they got too arrogant.
