Could mining in virtual computers ever worth?
Maybe using the virtual computer could cost less (or even free) than the amount you could mine with it.

What if you use several virtual computers?
The sum income could be considerable and let us not forget about the optimization such as spreading the work over a virtual network like parallel tasks.

Are you talking about VPS services or VMs you host yourself? VPS probably would not make enough to cover the cost (if it did, they would do it themselves!) and VMs have some overhead to them.

What might be worth looking at are VPS services with free trial.

if you could, lets say.... write a program to take over citrix's virtualization system... its feasible.

But first; look into what the first "botnets" in mining were... and see how they were treated.... (like a disease)

If you mine on a VPC, you not only have to calculate the hardware for the os host, on top of the mining process....

Am I guessing you suggesting CPU mining ? But it is still power consuming. And if you want to mine from these CPU miners with full power them you always have to leave your computer idle for several hours with power source on. May be that is not feasible as it looks.

Yes, I was meaning this. To have free access to one or more VPS services. So, let us calculate with positive amounts only. Would that worth in a foresee-able time with any altcoin? Since you would not use the VPS for anything else, only the essential software (like OS, as it was mentioned) would come down from full power.

It could be either GPU or CPU mining.

Also, if it did not worth at all, why would be software such as Adylkuzz?

they are usless they can't mine anything, their power on the cpu is too low to mine something with good hashrate, and anyway you are stuck to mine only cpu coin which are bad for profit, also some vps provider will shut you down the server if they find you are using too much cpu

Don´t forget that GPUs are most powerful for mining!
I doubt that VPS have graphiccards at at all.
CPU mining (if it works) would not bring in much ....
