Here’s a map ( http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-legal-map/) that shows the status of Bitcoin in different countries. There are actually several categories outlining which countries are permissive, contentious and hostile to bitcoin. Hope it will be useful

Many countries have accepted Bitcoin. They consider Bitcoin as legal and they consider it. There is nothing illegal in bitcoin. So it has gained trust in many countries and many people. Japan and Korea accept Bitcoin in two countries. People of their own country actually love Bitcoin.

how many country of the world now accept btc? If you will ask about the legal acceptance clearly then I will say that it is only USA , Japan One of the state of Russia and now daily new new countries are saying that they will legalize soon and regulate it for the better use . But I think if you can access them where you have internet and everyone can access who has better network connection . But beside these many countries are accepting Bitcoin but directly or indirectly without the known law of Bitcoin Whether good or bad to use . totally regardless to the users country .

In many countries there is no prohibition on the use of bitcoin. And this means that the use is allowed. And although it is not established at the legislative level - no one will forbid you to use this coin. I heard that Australia, too, was going to legalize bitcoin

On average almost all countries follow bitcoin because bitcoin can fill our empty wallets which is nothing.

how many country of the world now accept btc? Not many, but the real question is, do we need it? What I mean is, bitcoin is already used all over the world, as long as there is not a ban on bitcoin then we can do whatever we want with our bitcoin and buy and sell products and services with it.

Yes still very few countries are into bitcoins and still they have not given any legal status to bitcoins and to see many countries allowing bitcoins will take a very long time as it will also depend on the Government of that particular country that how they view bitcoins.

how many country of the world now accept btc? Not many countries have deemed illegal, which makes it legal most of the countries, but some countries have officially recognised bitcoin as a payment method, while some countries have not really paid bitcoin much attention at all. A list of countries that I can think off that have officially recognised bitcoin, include Australia, The United States, South Korea, Sweden, Denmark, The United Kingdom and Japan. Very few countries are involved with bitcoin, which makes bitcoin lack the proper government backing to go mainstream. Russia will soon officially legalised bitcoin soon, and that may help, but we need all of the countries that are involved in the UN to support cryptocurrencies and make sure they receive the proper government funding and development to go big. Some countries are still afraid of bitcoin, since it is decentralised and they think, it may worsen the condition of their market, but we need to stop that.

Many of here are claiming that almost every country has legalised bitcoin as legal currency but I don’t think so. There are still many countries left to accept the bitcoin or even know what bitcoin means. Many Africa countries lacks the infrastructure of Information technology and are not aware of the bitcoin or any crypto related world. Hope there will increased number of countries pretty soon.

I find it very odd that a country like Iceland that basically gave the bankers the middle finger in the last economic crisis, to be so against bitcoin, it would seem to me that they should be one of the countries leading the charge against banks, does someone knows why this is the case?

There may not be many countries currently receiving btc and declaring their legality, but so far bitcoin users have spread across countries and made good transactions via trade and other bitcoin-related activities.

how many country of the world now accept btc? Most countries allow the use of bitcoins informally. A few countries have adopted it legally like Japan. Very few countries like Ecuador banned it outright. The thing is that most countries have no idea what to do about bitcoins and are yet to formally adopt or ban it.

Right now the legalized usageof bitcoin is found quite low in very few number of countries around the world. Also the adoption took place in large scale by this year compared to the past years. Hope by the upcoming years more countries will start adopting looking the growth of Japan, Australia and other few countries which are the early adopters of bitcoin.
