I'm active in the Portuguese section. But I recently became Hero receiving most of the merits from well-respected members of the community in different sections of the forum. I received merits in 25 or 26 different sections.

Self made Legendary (in the making).
Posting in Croatian and German local boards.

Thanks

Although I congratulate you on your result - earning 504 merits is a GREAT ACHIEVEMENT.
However, I think that Self-made Legendary means that you have earned yourself the entire 1000 merit pool which is necessary to achieve this rank. So for now you can call yourself rather Self-made Hero than Self-made Legendary ...

True, but i think most wallets that provide addresses starting with 3 are not Multisig unless stated other wise , so it's almost safe to assume that most of these address are old Segwit address known as "compatibility" in some wallets.

But to be safe it's always better to use native Segwit addresses that start with "bc1" . This also ensures lower fees for when you have to spend the BTC you get.

Here is a list of wallets  ( i know of ) that support Native Seqwit address.

-Wasabi Wallet
-Electrum
-Coinomi
-Hardware wallets such (Ledger nano s and  Terzor)
-Armory

There's a few exchanges that give you multisig addresses. If you created the wallet yourself, chances are it is Segwit. You can always check the signatures of a transaction where you spent coins to check. For example, I control 3NSvhvYYBMVh1bPyKWjPfyiF3RHAAgsgtw which spent funds in this transaction.

These are the input scripts:

It's P2SH-P2WPKH which makes it Segwit. bech32 scripts are P2WPKH.

I think you are right, thanks! Poor choice of words on my end, I didn't think before writing. I have removed that part from my application.

Segwit addresses start with 3 or bc1.
Legacy address start with 1
This comes up every time there are free slots in this campaign. Addresses starting with 3 are not necessarily SegWit.
Well, Royse isn't wrong.

If you look at this from a set theory perspective, the set of all 3-prefix includes SegWit addresses inside of them. However, the set of all 3-prefix addresses is not a parallel with the set of all SegWit addresses with a 3-prefix.

That is, if S = SegWit addresses, T = 3-prefix addresses, S∩T ⊂ T
It's like with squares and rectangles: all squares are rectangles, not all rectangles are squares.

All SegWit addresses CAN start with 3. Not all 3-prefix addresses are SegWit.

How do you mean with coinomi being a segwit. The address starts with 1.
My coinomi has 3 type address, one is start with bc, one with 3 and the last with 1. So, coinomi do support segwit.

Not my business though-
I think it's better to stop discussion about other stuffs here than related to campaign. This discussion isn't off topic but Darkstar_ has announced a lot of open slots which resulted a huge members application. Those discussion will distract him from evaluating participants. It's better if we keep discussion out from the thread for a while.

In the immortal words of the Mater Elf Gimli, Son of Gloin:
"Certainty of Death, Small chance of success.. What are we waiting for...??"

Fierce competition as always but its exciting days when chipmixer opens up.. Last time I managed to be in the "list of participants being considered".. Cheesy The competition seems to have only gotten tougher. Applying:
